You can also get Anna Prasdam during the afternoon meal. The hall was very clean and hygienic. Food was scrumptious.

Was the beautiful Honest Darshan. Reach there by 10 do Darshan and then eat lunch which is divine and tasty.

Very organised place of worship. What takes the cake is the drive from Sringeri. Very scenic and exhilarating. Do check up weather reports, since it can pour when it rains.

Felt the devine feeling just by entering the place. And will never miss the drive and hot lunch.

Plan to visit Kalasa temple as well which is 6km away.

It's Aura is completely different must visit and also there is a Old Jain Temple there which was shown to me by Grandmother and it's very beautiful and I visit it always.

Good place to visit which was located in between hills. Rooms allocated by Devasthanam was good with Nominal price.
Onlything I felt was, better to go with own vehicle, Public transport has limited vehicles I think. We waited for 2 hours at Kottigere busstop to get Hornadu bus. After 2 hours we got a bus with full rush. I think till 3 PM bus availability was good from Kottegere to Hornadu. We went after 3 pm and faced this issue.

The Annapoorneshwari Temple is a Hindu temple dedicated to the goddess Annapoorneshwari The temple is also known as Adhishakthyathmaka Sri Annapoorneshwari Ammanavara Temple or Sri Kshetra Horanadu Temple. It is believed that the sage Agastya established the icon of the goddess here.

Devotees or Bhakts never go without food from this temple. The Prasadam timing is Breakfast 7 to 8: 30 AM, Lunch 12: 30 to 2: 30 PM and Dinner 8 to 10 PM everyday and is free, which is very nice, satvik and Spiritual. You can also donate grains or money for Dana purposes. There are Bhakta niwas to stay for people who are traveling from outstation. This temple is very beautiful and is situated in between beautiful hills. This is almost 400 years old temple and rare. I would request everyone can visit it at least once. It's wonderful and very unique experience. Apart from temple you can visit nearest Waterfall and hill trekking with amazing jeep ride.

Visited for annaprashana and tulabhara for my child. Food is great and hygienic in temple, don’t miss it. No need of advance booking for annaprasha, just buy ticket. Can carry silver bowl if needed to feed the baby. Had divine and peaceful darshana of amma.

The temple itself is located amidst the best scenery. One of the beautiful and lively goddess I have ever seen. Public is allowed for darshan very near to the goddess. Bhojana is served here regularly to everyone and the food here is delicious.

I have visited this temple in early morning since no crowd will be there. The Goddess Annapoorani and jagannatha at top in standing position seems to be very cute and alankaram made also very nice. My eyes are not turned back without seeing Goddess Annapoorani. By paying Rs. 40/- inside the Temple Campus, I got some rice in a plate. With the rice plate, I went and stand infront of Goddess Annapoorani, and prayed for my family. After that I dropped the rice in a drum kept for this purpose only. And then I had aval prasadam with hot coffee there. Very nice and Unforgettable yathra.

This temple is located in the base of most beautiful mountains and the place is so cool all around. There's ample car space which doesn't take any parking charges to any vehicle and it's organized in very good way. And at this pandemic time they have sanitizer spray and temp check before entering and they have all kind of sevas and darshana is also allowed from close by, all the shops and hotels and also lodging are maintained and are all good. Overall it was peaceful to visit this place

Shri kshetra Horanadu Shri Annapoorneshwari ammanavara devastana, this is the fulll correct name. This is the only temple that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner as Prasada. Temple is at the midst of hills has good connection to Bangalore via road. KSRTC runs volvo bus service.

Excellent temple with neat environment. It is a hill station. The temple is having accomodation which you can book by calling them. Bhadra Nivasa and Bhakta Nivasa are the two lodging facilities provided by the temple at a cheap rate. You also have different accommodations by private parties. Free food is served in the temple all three times of a day. Three times mangala harathi is given everyday. Friday the decorations are so beautiful. I really loved the place.

Temple is located in the beautiful green forest. You can purchase tea, coffee brands from local tea estates located on the way to Hornadu temple, from the small shops opp. The main gate.

Awesome temple. Darshan time 6 am to 9 am, 11am to 2 pm. 7pm to 9 30 pm. Free food served to all devotees. Maha mangalarathi starts by 8: 30am, 1: 30pm, 9pm.

Experience was amazing. We visited the temple in the night & stayed in temples Bhakt Nivasa. They offer rooms for visiters at very cheap rate. Darshan queue was not so long at morning. The atmosphere was nice and cozy in month of December.

One who takes food daily for living should visit Horanadu and pay obeisances to Goddess Annapoorneshwari, anna devi (food). Apart, a serene and beautiful scenic place worth visiting along with Sringeri.

This place holds a special place in my heart. I do believe in God and there are incidents when I was hungry in a hopeless situation and I have received food as soon as Goddess Annapurneshwari was remembered. This Devi is known as the food Goddess. They provide free lunch here which is very tasty and you're lucky if you get to have it here. Timings is 6.30am to 9am and 11am to 2pm for darshan. Lunch is provided from 12pm to 3pm.

One of d best and clean hindu piligrimage center in the belt of western ghats. A no of home stays are available near the temple. Food in provided in the mng aftrnoon and night.
