Great location, huge hall and dining room. Clean, neat and well maintained. Wheelchair accessible ramp for entrance with ample parking, dining room and toilets are wheelchair accessible. Highly recommended for function and other occasions. Besides mahaganapati and big bull temple

Centrally located traditional marriage hall, can accommodate about 400 people in the main arena with almost 200 in the dining area. Has great parking esp compared to other halls nearby.

Easy to locate, ample parking space, clean place, very convenient. Best is Dodda Ganapathi temple attached to this place.

The hall is big enough with large enough dining hall too. There are washrooms in the ground floor for the function attendees. Car parking is sufficient for around 15-20 cars. It's very easy to locate this hall and you do get lot of autos and cabs around this area.
Cons:
1. No AC inside the hall. It gets extremely suffocated with large crowds inside. The 2 big windmill kind fans running do not do any justice for full house crowd. There are wall mounted fans, but then for a hall situated in the heart of city better amenities expected.
2. There are lot of rooms in the first floor for the guests. Rooms r bigger and cleaner but with no attached bathrooms. Common bathrooms exist for all the rooms in the first floor (and not sure if it's separate for both genders)

Nice place to host family events. Saperately dining hall is good.
Facility has parking options. Great ambiance and good place for host family events.

Hall and dining area is in the same floor which has lot of advantages. If the number of rooms are increased it would be great for people who come from outside Bengaluru for wedding

The place is pretty old but good enough. And why I gave 5 stars is because of the people there. They all r sweethearts. In the end we can ignore lot of things if people are nicer. ️

Almost 36 years old marriage hall, built to an ambience of that day, even today is of great value and demand. Quiet, spacious parking and vicinity of vibrant temples makes you comfortable at once. Natural background for wedding photoshoots is available.

2+8rooms are spacious. The main hall can seat upto 500 and the dining hall can take 250 per time. Novel designed ceiling fans are an attraction and high speed commercial fans are avoided. Kitchen is vast.

Only vegetarian food can be prepared and it's a great satisfaction to most people. Staff are quiet cooperative.

Bed rooms could be increased. Acoustics can also be improved and AC can be provided to suit the modern fad.

Main hall is quite accomadative to hold the gathering.even the dining hall is also good with a well equipped kitchen. Since it belongs to the Trust.one gets at a reasonable cost to conduct an event.

Dharmasthala Manjunatha Kalyana Mantapa is centrally located on Bull Temple Road, Basavanagudi. It is close to the famous Dodda Ganesha Temple and Nandi Temple. The shopping areas of Basavanagudi and Gandhi Bazar are close by – for last minute shopping, if any. Surrounded by greenery, the kalyana mantap is ideal for weddings and events. Rooms for bride and groom parties is on the first floor, while dining hall is on the same floor. Four wheeler parking is limited.

Most south bangalore residents would have utilised this place for marriages or any other events. 350-500 seating capacity. There are 2-3 rooms too. Parking is available.

I have attended a marriage in this kalyana mantapa. The place is maintained well. Parking space is available. Dining area is spacious. Food served was tasty. On the whole, I liked this place.

Old world charm. Lots of greenery in the parking. Prominently located. Nice function hall. No A/C. No attached bathroom.

Sri Dharmasthala Manjuntheswara Choultry is a beautiful Choultry, though it is old. Excellent banquet hall to conduct marriages along very good dining hall. Parking is for very few cars, may be 25 -30 cars. As the Choultry is situated on very busy Bull Temple street, it is very difficult to get proper car parking. This place is next to Lord Dodda Ganesha Temple. Overall, very auspicious place.

A very good place to conduct marriages. But in heat demand. The manager says first you get the available dates here and then fix Muhurta for that date.

Very old and nice place, parking is little congested, but could be managed. Advantage is that it is placed in heart of city.

Spacious mantap. Dining hall may accommodate 250, my estimate may not be exact. Charges reasonable. Dining and mantap on ground floor. No steps. Rooms upstairs. Did not see them. Did not notice if lift was installed. Location is near national college metro. Also the famed dodda ganapathi and basavanna are next door.

A huge hall for serving food, wash rooms. It's a picturesque building booked well in advance may be months together. Book if you can afford.

Don't trust the manager. 1 yr ago we booked and he said he will get the hall painted. 2 months to wedding and they haven't done any painting or repairs. Cost wise it's not very economical as more money goes into decoration as the hall is poorly maintained! Better to chose a well maintained hall with minimal decor will work out much better.

Everything is really fantastic except for the decoraters.
They promise you something and do something. They take the full payment and they don’t do the work complete and they don’t even respond properly and receive our calls atleast.
They are worst.
That brings bad name to the hall. Worst service.

Centrally located in Basavanagudi Bangalore, next to Dodda Ganesha temple. Well ventilated marriage Hall, large rooms on the first floor and well laid out dining space. More than two dozen cars can be comfortable parked inside the compounded marriage Hall. Nearby hotels are there for additional accommodation.

This month 19th my sister's son's marriage was there. Though the kalyana mantap is good the security system is worst. The approach to the rooms on the first floor is not at all secured. Anyone can enter the rooms without anyone's notice as we experienced a theft of our belongings by an unknown lady. This is not the first time it happened in this marriage hall. Please take suitable arrangements for the security of the rooms as early as possible

It can accommodate 300 people within the hall, dinner hall is big enough to arrange 200 people.
And newly renovated inner hall is nice to have.

Very good marriage hall. Can accommodate 400-500 ppl. Dining have all facilities and evenly fans. Ample car parking available for atleast 30 cars. It's very popular, economical and difficult to get bookings. You have to book in advance atleast > 8 months.

One of the Best marriage halls in south Bangalore.even though been around since 90's (next to Bull Temple). Ample parking space for both 2 & 4 wheelers.very convenient to senior citizens.single floor both Marriage hall & dinning hall.

Big hall in the middle of Bangalore. Right place for a traditional wedding. It's adjacent to famous Ganesha temple and Bull temple in Basavanagudi locality. It's not air conditioned hall.parking space to handle around 20cars.

Excellent choice for a marriage venue. This place is really spacious and capable of seating 200 people. Also, the guest rooms are very spacious and are handy. The kitchen and dining area is also huge and accommodates the staff and guests comfortably. I had come here to attend a friend's wedding. There are beautiful temples nearby as well.

Marriage party hall I recently visited it has been completely renovated very nice place but you have to book at least a year in advance

Now the rates are at par with other choultries. Spacious and good dinning space. Centrally located with ample parking space. Rates in the range of 80k per day.

It maybe difficult to book this hall unless you do it an year ago. However what is available inside is sprawling hall able to Accommodate 600 guests and the dining hall around 250. There are 8 rooms on the 1st floor and 2 rooms in the ground floor. The bathrooms are normally kept clean and the daily rent isn't costly. The parking in front of the hall and the location of the hall are the highlights. Avoid using crane and drones for photography here.

Kalayana Mantap is good.availability for your required dates is very difficult. It is always booked. Not sure how
