South Karnataka lord Shiva Avatar, (i am not Sure) Good Devine place I visited last week I liked to have bath at Riverside and then I went for Darshana. Do visit atleast once.

Powerful divinity you can feel it upon entering the temple and very famous among South India

One of my favourite temple. Very nice and clean environment, very hygiene & pure water. Great work by staff & Greater Management by "Hegde" Sir Family.

This Shiva temple is located in sacred town of Dharmasthala. The presiding deity of the temple is Manjunatheshwara, in the Shivalinga form.

Dress code is strictly followed in this temple, Men are not allowed to enter the temple with half pants, should remove the shirt as well. Children below 2 yrs are not allowed to enter the temple.

We went for paid dharsan at the temple, it took same time as normal dharshan.

Plenty of Parking space is available, there are some cottages too.

A divine and peaceful place to get the blessings of God. Don't had the heart of leaving this place. Momentarily forgot the world around me

Dharmasthala is located 75 km from Mangalore and one of the big land marks for Hindus, which is the abode of Lord Manjunatheswara. Uniqueness of the temple is its administered by Jain Community of Karnataka. The name denotes Dharma resides here, and Manjunathewswara was installed from Kadri, and tradition continues. The temple is 800 years old. Best time to visit during monsoon on a weekday. It's very usual that temples serve food to all the devotees, lunch, and dinner are served to all devotees irrespective of religion.

Amazing shrine. Must visit place if you are around Mangalore. This place is located around 75 kms from Mangalore and the drive took around 90 minutes. Manjunatha temple is very famous here and the drive is perfect especially during monsoons.

Nice picturesque tourist location. Lord Shiva is the main deity worshipped. Darshan timings 6 am to 12 noon, then 5 pm to 8 pm. Not a crowded temple. Darshan is nicely and systematically organised by the temple admin. Once you complete your Darshan, you would have made three rounds of the sanctum sanatorium.

All things are good here.
However you should have a peaceful heart to feel the goodness of this place.

As usual crowd Place, we stood in queue at 8: 45am in the morning nd got dharshna at 11: 33am. Blessed to visit Lord Shiva There is special ticket for direct entry, so thr will be minimum lane for them.

Very good place to visit. Recommended to go in ₹200 darshan. Free darshan line is too long and no proper guidance given.

Too much of crowd and not organized the queues to supply water / snacks those who are waiting for 3 hours for Darshan. Not sure why shirt and baniyan to be removed which is entertaining exposure and sweat smell is too bad due waiting in queues and then removal of shirt. Also it's causing to skin diseases.

My heartfelt lovely shiva temple. Dharsan was so good and peaceful. I felt the divine vibes soulfully. Annadhana I had. It was also amazing food.

ONE OF THE WORST AND HIGHLY CORRUPTED TEMPLE IN KARNATAKA.
I'm sharing my personal experience in Dharmasthala. Recently I visited this place (usually we go every year and never experienced anything like this before) but post COVID, people managing in main Dharmasthala are worst. They don’t have basic manners to behave when a women is carrying a child and also with an elderly people.when I requested the temple staff to allow my aged in laws for special darshan (agreed to pay for special darshanam) they had responded very rudely that temple doesn’t permit any special entrances like that. They didn’t had that humanity to allow even when both my in laws were eligible to take darshan in special Q line. The temple security at the main gate are very much habituated to allow normal people by taking 500 notes from them secretly. You all must have seen this son of a b**** (have posted pic of him below) wearing white and white cloth, who stands at the entrance of office located at the main gate with whom we should literally go and beg for to allow in special Q. He behaves as if the temple belongs to his father and demanded 10k from us to have a special darshan. Such an arrogant dog he is. We returned back from Darmasthala without darshan. I felt Tirumala system is much better organized in offering Darshan to pilgrims. In Dharmasthala STAFFS ARE VERY MUCH RUDE AND CORRUPTED. It is very disgusting to see holy place like Dharmasthala becoming a part of money making and business.

Beautiful temple.powerful God Manjunatha here.well maintained queue system. Special tickets Rs200 for quick Dharsan. 24hr Annadhana supplied to all visitors in large size building. Every body participate and eat.one of the best temple in karnataka.

Nice temple. When visited there was too much crowd. Temple is maintained nicely. Free food is provided here starting 11: 00 a.m. Big car parking is available just opposite to the temple. Lord manjunatha (Shiva) is the main god here. There is a river near by where people are allowed to take bath.

Great place had a lovely experience. We bought 3 tkts for myself husband and kid and when we were entering a guy stopped us and went back to tkt counter to get a refund for kid tkt 200 rs as it is not necessary. I thought this name really serves right DHARMASTHALA!

Dharmasthala temple is on the banks of Nethravayhy river. Well kept temple. Manjunatha Swamy temple is famous for the Anbadhanam given everyday. Very divine place

But when it comes to guards they are treating people like terrorist there is no respect even to the elder peoples this thing must change except all are good

One of the most divine temples of South India. Located in the line of western ghats this temple is around 75Km away from beautiful city of Mangalore. The temple as such is well maintained and there is free food provided. There are frequent buses plying between Mangalore and Dharmasthala. You can board any of the Govt or private buses to reach here. Usually the temple will be rush during Holiday and festive seasons. Rooms and Lodges are available to stay overnight. There is ample parking space available.

This is a heavenly place as far as I can tell. Visit this place any day other than Monday, Saturday and Sunday or public holidays for a peaceful darshan of Lord Manjunatha.

Really really crowded during the general holiday period and quite opposite during other days. One of the biggest "ANNADHAANAM" around the place. No one leaves hungry here.

This great organization runs 64 professiinal and graduate institutions. It has in its folds many great hospitals also. The land of Ujire 9.5km from the temple is a education city.

This is a very very sacred place for devotees, it gives you peace and releases all kind of negative thoughts from your mind on entering this place. It's not only the temple premises but all the villages and city arround south Karnataka is so good that we can find love and affection from people here and not expecting anything from anyone. We can find very clean places and the environment is so awesome that we feel so fresh to stay here. Weather over here is very moderate and neat. Had an awesome stay.
