Sri Rama Lodge

One of the oldest buildings/ lodges you can find in Shimoga. Thus, the rooms look bygone or older.
And also the advantage is that it is spacious. The room, the washroom plus the hallway everything.
The location on where it is located is also a prime location. It is located in the last road of Shimoga and any further away you go, you will be leaving Shimoga and moving to bhadravati and other cities.
On coming to the service part, nil. Nothing.
No hot water.
The charging point sometimes would work and sometimes it would not. The bed design was old fashioned (the mattress was old and hard too).
But nearby you can get all the shops and hotels like Meenakshi bhavan and etc.
Overall worth the price.

Worst hotel. Has bedbugs, dirty toilet, no towels and bath essentials.

Rooms are very small and not well maintained. Not for those who are expecting a reasonably Good lodge. Restaurant not very bad.

One of the worst hotel I have ever seen in my life. Zero ventilation and staffs are non responsive. It's not suitable for human beings.even it is not deserve for Single star also.outside looks like nice, but inside very pathetic. No maintenance, very dusty and thousands of mosquito.

Economical stay option.
Rooms and bathrooms were clean.
Cons:
mosquitos were there if windows are open in the night.
TV was not working.

Closr to city centre, opp there petrol bunk, Bakery and bar attached, reverview, close railway stn, four wheeler hub, Shankar mutt, other temples, kalyan mandirs.

Price too high for the quality of rooms. Staff behaves life they are serving in a star hotel.but it isn't the case. For people choosing for economic stay, quite a moderate one to stay for 1 day.
