My Gurudeva and Ma give a special presence here. You can experience it on your own.

My suggestion is that it should be kept open even in the afternoons. Devotees can meditate and use the library.

Second suggestion is evening lectures and special programs should commence early and end by 7.30pm.

People (alone, aged, don't have own vehicles) who stay far and have to travel for hour or two feel difficulty while reaching to and pro. (Or the bmtc buses should be increased to various places directly from the ashrama. Don't know how far will this happen, But they could be asked to do so)

Sri Ramakrishna Ashrama, Mysuru was established on 11th June 1925 by Swami Siddheswarananda an initiated disciple of Swami Brahmananda. In 1932 the Maharaja of Mysore made a grant which enabled construction of a small building and for holding a Vedanta study circle for Swamis. Many reputed scholars took classes for Monks and Brahmacharis who came from various centres of the Ramakrishna Order. All our stalwart monks were studying in this Mysore study circle. The Mysore study circle was in a way the nucleus of the now well established Training Centre for the monastic probationers in Belur Math. The literary colossus of Karnataka, K. V Puttappa (Kuvempu) had his initial training in Mysore Ashrama during his student days, and he had his spiritual initiation from Swami Shivananda, a direct disciple of Sri Ramakrishna.

Peaceful and delightful. Only worry is presence of RSS volunteers. Hinduism has to be protected from religious fundamentalists

There is no word to explain, all Ramakrishna ashram is awesome. The value of this type ashram could find by talented. Common people Know the temple but good people know such places.

Very nice, calm, silent place. Have been to library, they have books to let to members but arrangements of books and borrowers cards are not maintained!

The environment inside is splendid ️, one should visit to free ur mind & to know the aspect of life!

It is a serene place. Very calm and quit place for prayers and meditation. There is a book shop within the premises where in you have access to very good books especially books on philosophy, spirituality and religion. It is an Ashram in its true spirit.

Ramakrishna Ashram is a Spiritual place for meditation and Kirtan's. A peaceful spiritual environment which believes in world peace. Has a bookstore with good collection on spirituality.

Ramakrishna ashrama also runs the school nearby there and also every Saturday and Sunday spiritual classes about vedic texts and srimatha and sriramkrishnas divine life

Houses ashram of Sri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa order. The ashram is in Yadavgiri, Mysuru. The ashram is open in the mornings and evenings on all days and the evening Aarathi is at 7.00 pm everyday. Pravachans is on Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays in Kannada and English. The birth anniversary of Sri Ramakrishna will be celebrated at the ashram premises this month. This place is located on KRS road and very near to Mysore railway station.

This is not a very big place but it has a meditation hall, book store.

There is no entrance fee and book collection at book store is good.

You need to be silent here to make as less noise as possible. So avoid to travel with infants.

This place is a consecrated space with lineage continuity. You can feel the meditative energy in the temple. Bookstore is a gem featuring many books at a very very affordable rate.

Every body should go to this place bcz there is a positive environment which helps to find ur inner peace & spirituality.

Prayer singing melodious, very clean. Surrounding is green and beautiful. This temple is very fit for meditation.

Wonderful place to listen to spiritual talks, worship and meditation. Excellent collection of books too which will enrich the readers who are on spiritual quest.

A ashram with beautiful spiritual ambience. Daily at 7pm Arathi and Bhajans are held as well as spiritual discourses in the evening on Sundays etc.
