Today we had a different experience at Venkateshwara Sweets, Gandhi Bazaar which definitely need a mention here. We had ordered for ‘vada paav’ as takeaway in the afternoon but forgot to collect while leaving the store and remembered about it only in the evening. But thanks to the staff who showed a warm gesture and agreed to handover the package to us with a fresh order late in the evening. We could enjoy a tasty ‘vada paav’ at home in this rainy weather.
We tried Mysore pak here. Found it costly so went to a couple of other places for trying.
That is when we realised the quality of stuff at this shop. Ended up buying 6 boxes from them because although others were cheaper, the taste was nowhere compared to Sri Venkateshwara. Go here if you want top quality and are willing to pay the price for it.
Before it used be good and natural but now tastes too artificial. Mysore Pak especially added with artificial colour lost its natural flavour and feel.
Most hygienic food junction in Bangalore south. Ever smiling and great staff. Just below Sri Krishna Bhavan in Gandhi Bazar. Famous for sweets and chats
The place is located in Gandhi Bazaar which is one of the busiest places for shopping in the city. Even though the place is busy, it's not too hard to find this business. The place serves many authentic sweets mainly made using Ghee. Even though the products are slightly overpriced compared to other famous sweet shop chains in there, they taste really good.
From Balepete, the core Bengalooru. They have extended their Taste to Gandhi Bazar. Good place for Sweeeeeeet Sweets and Khadak khaara. They have introduced some Good chats n Parathaas.
No paneer in paneer parota and thickness of parota is too fat only maida. The parota should b more paneer and thinness no taste and what v write in the posting you people will not care about the public what have written no taste no taste keep it in your mind and do well.
Absolute delight for all the sweet lovers, they serve the best kaaju barfi, and out of the world Mysore pak, the namkeens are fresh and you have umpteen varieties, my favourite would be avare bele mixture, also if you wanna try authentic chaats with high quality, this is the place for bhel puri, dahi puri, vadapaav also must try would be there paranthas
A popular sweets outlet with several branches in the city is known also for its snacks served inhouse. Good to go for a change with family and friends.
It has wide variety of sweets and chats available. Though it's pricey, worth the Penny spent. Nice dining place and Hygienic staff. Quantity of chats is more and can feed two average person (not hungry) Overall a Nice experience.

If you are willing to pay a bit extra for Fresh and Delicious sweets, then this is the place for you. It has a very large variety of sweets and condiments. Very crowded, which also means dishes are fresh
Only sweets are good. Chats are overpriced for the taste, drastically worsened from beginning and they pack chats in boxes after mixing which makes it inedible for eating later-on.
A large variety of sweet nd savouries In the ground floor there oly sweets nd in the 2nd floor theres chats and all Good quality of sweet they sell for a very long time There Shahi Tukda is fab There Mysore pak nd all malai are awesome Very spacious place
Excellent sweet shop with a history of more than 100 years having a humble beginnings in Chickabalapur. Later in 1954 they opened there sweet shop in Chickpet which then renovated to the present one 11 years back. The grandfather of the owner Mr Raghu had invented a sweet & called it 'paka' (see first photo). Later on this 'paka' became famous with the name 'Mysore Paka'. They are the most authentic sweet makers in Bengaluru city. They are also innovating new sweet items every now & then having the ethnic elegance & modern feel. The last photo is of their newest innovations.
Ideal place for anyone with a Sweet tooth. The variety is awesome and has been an established name for decades, so Quality is rest assured. However the Chaat items needs improvement (Masala Puri and Pani Puri), very spicy masalas used, to be toned down as kids can't take that high spice
Nice restaurant to hang out with family and friends. Price is high in restaurant Also they have Venkateshwara sweet shop in the Ground floor which is famous for Mysore Pak you won't get same taste in any other sweet shop in Bangalore.
Nice place for South and North Indian food.has a party hall too.it's not just a sweets stall, reasonable rates and good service. Price around 600 for 2.
North Indian styled chats.masala is Quite different than the one available roadside. Well maintained and clean. They have got variety of sweets. Mysore Pak is very good.
Amazing restaurant. You will be surprised by this restaurant if you are first time customer. Ambience, taste, pricing, restrooms - all perfect. I walked-in with lot of apprehensions, but was completely surprised by quality of service in all aspects. Best place to have lunch and dinner.
They have a sweet stall on groundfloor. Amazing one with so many varities of sweets. Superb. Deserves 10 out 10.
Awesome sweets. Rasmalai.chiroti. Pheni. Really mouth watering. Super service.quality food. Not a word about chats and chips and totally anything you to take is outstanding
Food was great. Customer services was at the best. The Manager was kind enough to waiver the price of the soup, which was not good. Highly recommended place to visit.
A lovely place to hang out with friends and family. The sweet ship turned restaurant serves good vegetarian food and also retains it old sweet shop so that the customer visiting them would experience both variety. The mysore pak is a sweet to be tried here!
Foodies place, in Gandhi bazar you will get lot of hotels, stalls like this but this is old one the best items you will get it, all snacks or starters and all especially samosa, dhahi samosa, badam milk is the special attraction of the stall, badam milk will be cold and thickness of milk gives flavor of badam once a time can visits the stall you can go with kids and family, Cleanness is very good
Best Mysurpak, quick service, quick billing. You can come here make your purchase and leave within 60 seconds. Ambience is also very good, I highly recommend anyone looking for authentic and the best Mysurpak.
Ambience is vow.service is good.food is very tasty. Ground floor is for sweets First floor is for chats Second floor is for northi Indian and Chinese delicacies. Third floor is for party hall. There are variety of sweets. Though number of Chinese and north Indian varieties are less whatever they have listed has unique taste. In the menu the ingredients are mentioned with helps you chose the dishes. Overall a nice calm place with professional staff
Amazing food, prime location, ample space and seating, good and quick service - describes Sri Venkateshwara. What was earlier known for it's sweets, savories and Chaat.
Pros: Good restaurant at 2nd floor Nice and hygiene food Beautiful ambiance Cons: Thali is not available for dinner and its not mentioned in menu Relatively higher rates Mango milkshake was like Mango flavoured milk 90% of Staff doesn't know Kannada since all are from North India and staying here from at least one year. It was difficult to converse with them. Advice to management: train the staff to converse in Kannada, rest all will fall in place.
The food was good but the staff doesn't know what food they had served, had ordered manchow soup, instead they gave Lemon Coriander Soup, when I asked the waiter, he argued saying that was manchow soup itself.
I had to just accept while he was arguing, would not prefer this place when the restaurant people itself doesn't know their food.
Good quality sweets for decent price. As now they have expanded their shop, have tried dining in their restaurant. A very soothing ambient and wonderful service. Good hangout place for Veg lovers and family.
Amazing food, prime location, ample space and seating, good and quick service - describes Sri Venkateshwara. What was earlier known for it's sweets, savories and Chaat, now has a proper fine-dine added too. There is a self-service restaurant which serves sweets and Chaat on the 1st floor. 2nd floor hosts the fine dining. The ground floor is the sweets outlet. Their Mysore pak, badam halwa are melt-in-the-mouth delicious. Don't miss Sri Venkateshwara if you are in the Basavanagudi, Gandhi Bazaar area.
