Very nice. I visit this place only for Mysore Pak. No other sweet stall can prepare Mysore Pak as Venkateshwara does. You can find other sweets too, but if you want to try Mysore Pak this is the best place.
It was rainy day we were looking for some nice chats to eat but need to have a roof covered and a seating place and this place stuck to my head and went here. They serve many varieties of sweets and chats. We ordered for dhahi puri and bhel puri both were authentic and has more of khatta meata taste which I love so we enjoyed chats here. Pricing is bit Higher Side as they have good seating and taste its ok to pay little more.
Enjoyed the famous Mysore Pak (Soft) of Sri Venkateshwara Sweets and yes.it was one of the best or may be the best Mysore Pak i have every tasted.melt in mouth term is absolutely correct:)
Visited this place when I had a chance to go to Jayanagar.
Based on the review, I happened to taste Mysore pak and pheni. This place is famous for its Mysore pak and it taste similar to Sri Krishna Mysore pak. Just melts in your mouth and full of ghee.
Excellent place for chats, has a small sitting area, prices are a bit on the higher side compared to other local chat shops since the quality is good and the place is well maintained its worth the extra buck, they have sweets and lassi too, overall a nice place for the evening chat
Great place for variety of authentic sweets and snacks, hygienic place, ideally located on the main road, no parking place, no wheelchair access, staff are friendly and service is good, social distancing maintained.
This place is located in Jayanagar and there are two floors. Bottom floor serves sweets and the upper floor serves North Indian dishes and chat items. Food is really tasty and a visit is a must.
This used to be one of my favorite chat places coz its clean and neat, but today the balance was not there. The khaman was not soft and the chutney was too sweet. The puris in the sec puri were stale. The sec was yummy
As usual, just awesome! I stayed in Gujarat for 5 years. Everytime I come to Bengaluru, I cannot miss the Mysore Pak from Sri Venkateswara Sweets. Even my Gujju friends addicted to it as I am.
The things I have tried and love from Sri Venkateswara Sweets: 1. Mysore Pak 2. Domrottu 3. Mothi choor laddus 4. Dry fruit Sweets 5. Averekal mixture 6. Cashew mixture 7. Bakar vade Etc,
I wouldn't even give one star to them as they are cheats, when you buy sweets in bulk for purpose then they put in lot of sub standard and stale sweets in the mix. It has happened with me twice when I bought sweets for taking abroad, they packed it neatly and it looked great from outside but when I opened the box, some of the sweets were giving foul smell within a day's time. Needless to say I had to throw away all of it. I have decided not to buy from them anymore.
Have visited multiple times for food and chats on the upper floor. Can't stop going! They are awesome! Pure vegetarian. Parathas, chats, sandwich, lassie, sweets are some on the menu
Store is very hygenic and staff are cooperative. Appreciate their patience. Went along with family friends. I dont know the way here though. 'Mysore Pak' is a class item and my favourite. Anyone knows can understand, others must try one to realize.
The joy with which they serve when you smile with them, the very dedicated owners of the three restaurant chain makes this special; besides they strive to serve authentic chaats sweet s snacks and now a fine dining north cuisine restaurant in basavanagudi, we enjoy going back every now and then
I love the sweets from this place. The sweets packaging box could be better. The chaats hotel in the first floor is lit. It's damn neat and hygienic. The prices are on the expensive side though.
Nice place to hangout with friends for get together. Location is easily commutable. 800mts from Jayanagar metro; 500mts from 4th blk bus stop. Chats are open after 12pm. Sweet stall is open from 9 or 10am
A fabulous place for a large variety of sweets and savories. Located in more than one place in Bangalore. Took away Nippattu and a couple of variety of sweets.
Quality place with quality sweets for any and every occasion. The attitude of my halwai was quite pleasing. Very polite and welcoming. Positives: Variety, service and hygiene. Negatives: None.
One of the must visit places in Jayanagar.this place has nice sweets on sale at the ground floor and first floor is where you get tasty chaats (jalmuri, masala Puri, Raj kachori.), rolls, cutlet, kulfi.to name a few at decent prices for the quantity and ambience. This place is hygienic (did not find a single housefly). Have been here several times, only negative I could see is the plastic waste being generated.if only they could switch to more environmentally friendly option.that would be great.
The Dharwad style peda is great here and was fresh when purchased from here. There is a small Tirupati style mandir kept near the Cashier's counter which looks beautiful with the lights on.
The sweets here are great. But I go here almost 3-4 times a month for lunch. They serve fantastic parathas, samosas, cutlet and kulfis. There's no display that says they serve lunch and it's on the first floor; so most people don't know it and therefore is always empty. If you're hungry, this is a great place for lunch and chat.
Not bad. The staff is helpful and respond well for your queries. The sweets are good but not the best. Especially the Mysore Pak, which is supposed to be the most authentic Karnataka sweet. Ghee was qualitatively and quantitatively compromised in Mys Pak. Add in said - the taste was good but not the best; especially if you have tasted special Mysore Pak from Mahalaxmi sweets
Mysore Pak sold here is the best in town. Chaats can be made better, maybe change their chaat masala recipe, don't have hot beverages, chole batura is worth a try
Venkateshwara Sweets is a house hold name and is the place to go to, if Mysore Pak is the sweet one wants to eat. Fresh, clean and tasty sweets are available at the ground floor. Yummy chats are at the 1st floor.
I don't understand why even such costly eateries provide hot food in melamine/plastic plates. Don't these people understand the health issues caused as a result? Or simply don't they care? The venue is air-conditioned and looks posh. But I'm disappointed by the type of crockery they use. They can use steel utensils instead.
Wide variety of quality sweets and snacks. Friendly staff. Well maintained place. Hygienic. Good ambience. Adequate parking place. My favourite here - palak dahi chat
