SS SPARSH HOSPITAL

Overall positive experience at this hospital as my father received proper care and treatment from knowledgeable doctors in neuro department after having a stroke. He was admitted to emergency, then ICU, then medical ward and finally rehabilitation ward where he stayed for 17 days.

Strengths:
- senior doctors are knowledgeable and provide good care
- higher level of transparency with patients and family if questions are asked
- do not try to overcharge, but they do take care to provide all necessary interventions and offer additional options based on patient and family’s concerns
- timely medical care in emergency, ICU and medical wards
- good coordination between various departments in the hospital
- good array of rehabilitation therapies available within the hospital on inpatient and opd basis
- staff, nursing and doctors’ responsiveness to concerns was generally good
- rooms and facilities are kept clean and hygienic
- administrative processes are generally organized and efficient

Weaknesses:
- housekeeping staff is limited so it was very difficult especially at night when patient urgently needed help to use washroom
- too much responsibility is placed on patient’s family to keep track of patient feeds, items used by nursing staff, and ensure timeliness of care
- nurses and therapists had expectation that patient family will bring many items from home which hospital should provide
- some nursing staff are not well trained
- duty doctors have limited knowledge and authority, must check with consultant doctors for each and every thing
- sometimes lack of consistency between doctors and nurses in medical opinions and information given to patient and family causing confusion

We would come here again if needed and would recommend to others.

Consulted Dr Hemanth L (Pulmonologist) at Sparsh Hospital for my uncle's persistent lung infection. My uncle was very weak and seemed to be deteriorating every day. The doctor was extremely patient, listened in detail to everything my uncle / we had to share, took his time assessing him. He explained in detail the issues and risks and recommended hospitalization. We also agreed with assessment. The hospital adminission process was smooth, the attendants, nurses and admin staff were polite and very helpful. Hospital has very good facilities and the wards sre pretty decent. My uncle stayed for 3 days and was much improved by the time he was discharged. Dr Hemanth even visited on Sunday. Discharge process was smooth (non insurance). There was no attempt to do unnecessary tests or foist any additional unjustified charges.

Our family of three (90 years old, 62 and 67) has been going here for about two years. We have primarily experienced their OPD services in Ortho (Dr Brahmaraju), Neuro (Dr Abhishek Miryala) and Urology (Dr Nagaraja Rao) + occasionally Dermatology (Dr Narendra) and Internal Medicine (Dr Harish) + In-patient on one occasion. We have also used their Radiology dept a few times. My overall impressions are as follows: Infrastructure - 4/5; Doctor and technician competence - 3.5/5; Pricing - 4/5; Courtesy & cleanliness - 4/5; Treatment outcome as expected - 3.5/5. In particular: Dr Abhishek Miryala has been able to restore my mother's mobility to a large extent - she was diagnosed with Parkinsonism and her leg muscles had stiffened up considerably. Dr Miryala is a calm, hands-on, forthcoming practitioner.

Overall satisfaction with hospital: 3.5/5
Would I recommend it to anyone I know? Yes.

Fraud Hospital and Doctors (i don't call them doctor, Abhishek Miryala, Bhaskar M V and Amit Kulkarni). Don't know who gave degree to them (and how they got).

Dont go here and lose your life. They are not into service. They are into money diggers and mainly they wanted business.

Nothing is good here. Doctor don't have justification for what they are giving treatment. Simply they will suggest ICU and if ask explanation then they will tell its your risk.
I m loosing my father and my life and peace after visiting this hospital. They made my father as bed ridden and i need to suffer.

The hospital doctors nurses and housekeeping staffs are very good. The doctors advise, nurse handling patients and cleanliness is on top notch. Great going. I must recommend this hospital for others.

This hospital is well managed by qualified doctors and nursing staff. I recommend this hospital for patients who want professional treatment at reasonable rates.

Nursing, Security, housekeeping was very good because when my cousin was admitted he was treated in very polite and good way.

This hospital very spacious. Doctor in the ER are very courteous. Nursing people in Radiology was very well versed. Housekeeping staffs are very well trained in handling patients. Loved all the services. Only thing is, if you people can check the price of the food. A cup of coffee costs 25/-, whereas everywhere outside it is just 10/-.

This hospital infrastructure is very beautiful and I must say that it is been maintained as well. Starting from entrance till the discharge felt few issue, but the helping attitude of all the staffs are very good.
Divya the housekeeping supervisor is very generous and helpful. She assisted me in all aspects.

Worst hospital ever seen, if we go to SS
Sparsh emergency with small wound, they will decide them self for plastic surgery, when we got 2nd opinion from other hospital doctor told it's just a nail tare and nail will grow with in 3 to 4 months.

My relative was admitted here and I found the hospital and wards very clean and all the housekeeping staffs are very gentle and ready to help attitude. Food cost needs to be checked, it's pretty high. Nursing helping attitude is good. Security doesn't allow home food.

Good hospital with a clean atmosphere. House keeping was well maintained. One of my relative was admitted few weeks ago. Where we got a good service and we'll maintained house keeping services. Even the nursing staff was friendly & well co operative.

Amazing Service! Doctor's and Nurse's were extremely kind and helpful. Was taken care of very well.

Dr. Raja Shekar Jaka sir, oncology department, very good doctor, he is just like god to me because he saved my mother, suffered from thyroid cancer …. Hospital ambience is super, very good quality canteen food,

They are charging Covid test Rs1370. Other places it is 500.
When asked Hospital person why extra charges. I got a reply that there is consultancy charges of 570 and Covid charge is 800.
Why consultancy when we are just taking the test?

The lobby of this hospital looks like a 5* hotel lobby. The skylight above it gives a proper sunlight. Speaking of the restrooms, when ever I entered, I found it clean and tidy. Staff were very helpful as well

Visited the OPD found the area very neat n clean. The toilet are well maintained even after having quiet a number of foot fall.

All the staffs are very kind and helpful. Starting from main entrance to exit. The hospitality of the hospital is too good. Especially the performance of the emergency department.

I would like to give 5 star rating for Sparsh. DR. Srihari is the best. Verygood Staff. Hygienic meal. Prashanth Prabhu and Bhaskar also taken care during the time of admission.

The best hospital i had ever visited. Doctors, nurses and staff are extremely helpful and indeed the care and treatment is highly noteworthy and appropriated. The infrastructure of the hospital is also good. I had a knee problem when i visited the hospital and the treatment and the facilities i got under the aegis of Dr. Bhremaraju was excellent. Now the problem got completely cured and the follow-up from the hospital is also appreciable.

I was very happy about the services of all the staff of the hospital, both medical and non medical.

I would like to make a special mention about Mrs. Abhilasha Madam, OPD, whose style of working impressed me a lot.

Her helping nature, support and cooperation during our visit there really helped me in getting things done faster, without which it would have taken at least half a day.

I got stroke one month ago I got treatment under doctor amit kulkarni he is very good doctor he having good team they all treated me very well good physiotherapist. As the infrastructure of the hospital looks clean and spacious but managing people in OPD is very poor. We have been waiting in OPD since two hours with prior appointment but till now no response from the team.

Worst experience with the hospital. ENT specialist Manjunath MK not at all available for patients. To show reports also need to wait hours together. Please don't go SS sparsh hospital. Go to some other hospital.

I recommend this hospital because the doctors are good and friendly nature also the hospital is well sanitized which is very important in this pandemic.
All the patient room was very clean and hygienic Sanitisers are available every where.

Took my daughter for emergency for burnt skin.the bed she was treated was so dirty and I culd see fallen hair strands on pillow.lets forget abt hygiene

THere was no doctors for consultant nurse cleared her wound and applied ointment dressing was so badly done when she stood up bandage came out

Waited for doctor for 2 hr since no one turned up junior trainer doctor gave the prescription for my 10yr old daughter which is very high dose.later I consulted my pediatrician over phone got the prescription.

After coming back home I saw in the discharge summary that my daughter was treated by dr devendra naik seniour emergency consultant and charged 800 rs for consultant. How could they just put his name when she is not treated by him

I had a different opinion on this hospital now i feel all hospital are there for only money least bothered about patients.

Very clean and hygienic hospital. All the lobby level toilets were very cleaned. In this covid situation, housekeeping staffs are doing very well to enhance our safety at all the times.

Zero stars to Dr. Chaitanya Prabhu. Neurology department. He misguided us, he has not explained us what will be the patient's condition after surgery, we blindly believed him and done the surgery. Now every doctor whom we consulted for second opinion are asking us why we went for the surgery, when there is no hopes.

Who ever go to neurology department for consultation, Don't ever believe Dr. Chaitanya Prabhu blindly.

Apart from this incident we had satisfactory experience in SS sparsh hospital since 3 yrs.

It's a money earning hospital, unnecessary tests are made and they charge the medicine more than MRP. They are there only to eat money not give treatment.big cheaters

Clean and hygienic hospital. Ambience and the landscaping are superb and properly maintained. Housekeeping staffs are very generous and helpful. The OPD area has that cleanliness vibes in it. Hospitals in now a days need to be upkeeped in this ways.

Never ever visit this hospital. My niece was vomiting profusely late night and went to emergency ward. I was of the view that they will give IV for couple of hours and she will be stable. But they prescribed tests worth 20k on admission itself. I had to fight to get her discharged. My niece recovered within 2 days on normal medication after that. These people are heavily money minded and will not hesitate to go any extent. STAY AWAY.

Well maintained Hospitals in this vicinity, Well Qualified Dicotors, Good Facilities, plenty of rooms to choose as per your budget, ample carparking space at the basement, almost all departments including Dentistry, ENT, Optho, covered. Overall 5 star facility

Very worst service in cardiology department. They give appointment slot even if doctor is not available on that time and make us wait for the entire day at hospital for emergency visit.

Emergency ward had bedsheets with blood stains.very unhygienic. Nurses don't wear masks.

Took more than 1.5 hours to get the admission.

Whole baggage is checked to see if we are carrying any home made food. Not sure if this is prison.

Created a scene for carrying 2 apples to patient. Apparently apple is outside food for them.
All this to drive the cafeteria sales.

They charge 25rs for one glass of badam milk, which has 23 rs water and 2 rs milk.

Doctor was nice but management is worst.

I recently went for covid treatment at SS Sparsh RR Nagar.
Hospital is very clean and feel safe, staffs are very humable and dedicative in taking care of patients so I'm blessed to get a treatment by great team in hospital.

Such an expensive hospital and bad experience with the ENT who could not see a huge boil in my ear which even a normal person can see. Now I am consulting another doctor.

Recently took a family member into the emergency ward and faced the worst time of my life.
Simply put there's little to no hospitality or even courtesy towards patients. All doctors in ssnmc rr nagar seem to have a megalomania persona, whatever they say we should just listen and not respond with any questions.
Don't visit this hospital, they will just loot you.

Went here to get my second dose of paid Covaxin vaccination. The hospital itself is clean and is big so that the place is not congested. But the glaring omissions what I observed is that the medical staff didn't check the Blood pressure before administering the dosage. The process itself was hurried. Also still the CoWIN portal is not updated from their end to download my certificate.

Very costly hospital.
We all know running hospital is not cheap but the cost of just a simple checkup with ECG for my father was over 3500 for 1hour visit.
Though I got timely assistance, the price is too high. Proces could have been reasonable.
