My father was admitted for brain stroke. The services that I received from St Philomena's Hospital is excellent. Dr. A R Bhat and the staff are friendly and ensured that patient's family is properly informed about patient's health and care. Insurance department was also very cooperative and helpful. I have no qualms in recommending to anyone.
Their Canteen is the worst. If anyone has diabetes and go to this canteen after fasting you will die here only. 1.30 paid for an item till 1.58 not ready.he says you don’t know the procedure of how we make.we make it fresh so they heat the oil for 20 mins before making poori, HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. Don’t even consider their food as they don’t have hygiene, taste or any nutrition in the food they serve.
This is a very neat and clean hospital. No mosquitos inside, though Bangalore is teaming with them. The doctors and staff are very friendly and helpful. Timely and hearty service is available 24hrs. Though in the heart of the city, it is calm and quiet inside the hospital. Everything here is of high standards. Quality food is available.
Service is very bad and nurse they are treating the patient very rough and they are very rude to the patient and attended. Doctor is not on time and they are not checking properly over all services is very bad and poor.
One of the worst experience I got from this hospital
Emergency room doctors & nurses they are only concerned about the task to finish in lazy way! No attachment to wards patients In reality doctor and any staffs should always smile and understand patient and guide them on step by step producer.
I have fever for 7 days seeking the right solution with the right approach because I m paying for there service and I m not taking it for free.
Nurses and doctors treat A Grade B Grade or till Z Grade Category to patients.
However I don't like to mention there names online
I will not recommend the people to come here because it has very poor service to wards patients don't give your valuable money to those who are treated like 3rd class grade.
I rushed here with incredible pain. They took me into the emergency room and started scans and other diagnostics without registration or worrying about billing etc the nurses and doctors are competent and compassionate The facilities are not as impressive as some private hospitals but at that moment what mattered was care competence and speed. Am very grateful
Very very worst than worst hospital i had ever seen in my life. I myself is a health care provider but I had never seen like that money digger hospital. They are looting the money from patients like anything and the knowledge of there duty Dr's is zero but the behaviour is like anything. My wife has to take an injection which needs 2 to 3 hour observation for that they made me to get admit for 3 days. And the PRO behaviour was like i had asked her to give us the kidney. For general ward they had put me 6k charges. Very pathetic and worst hospital it's. Management should need to focus on all the matters.better not to visit that hospital.
This is one of the worsted hospital which we have seen. No proper treatment given to patient and the staffs behaving soo rude to the patient and to the attenders. If we call for some information to OPD block they don't receive the call over all it's worsted hospital in Bangalore
Hospital wise the best. You can believe and go for whatever problems you have. Nurses and doctors are sooo good. But! Canteen facilities has became worst.
Emergency ward doesn't have medicines they ask you to get it by yourself from the pharmacy. The staffs are helpless stating it is out of stock. I am at the hospital now running here n there for the medicines to save my dad. Pathetic experience!
I am so thankful to this institution specially Dr Ranjith Shetty that he was there for my Father in Law when he was sick. I appreciate his patience and calm manner. I wish the outcome had been different and he were still with us, but I take comfort from knowing he was treated so well. We appreciate your kindness and understanding. To lose someone so special to us has been sad but you were always there to answer any questions and try to reassure us. Thank you for being such a good doctor ️ in our time. I knew my father in law wasn’t going to get better, but you made his remaining time as comfortable and happy as it could be. That was all we ever wanted and we will always be grateful. Thank you for such devotion to your patients, you’re a wonderful Doctor? Thank you for never giving up, I know we were fighting a losing battle but to see someone so dedicated to saving lives was really inspiring. You really went above and beyond. I am very grateful, as I know my entire family are too. You were my Idol as a Senior, & will always be. Dr Santhosh Luke. My Appreciation to all the staff in MICU, specially Dr Priyanka whom I cannot forget to mention also Dr Anju & all the Nurse s, & Security personal. Thank you all. Thank you very much for your hard work and dedication. We really appreciate the sacrifices that you are making to take care of those of us in need. Thank you so much for your selfless work and endless hours that you put in to care for the sick. Regards Dr Santhosh Luke.
One of the worst Experience, my chacha got admitted here for stones in gallbladder and needed surgery, The day we went the doctor wrote a estimation for Rs15K for surgery and we took admission, twin sharing room for 2.5k per day, but after 2 days they asked us to pay 43K for surgery.they said the estimation was for surgery expenses (consumables) and not for actual surgery. They give small quotes to make the patient get admitted then milk the money.we had checked in other hospitals surgery costs 60k to 70k we did big mistake going to this hospital.
Next is medicine they write very costly medicine and no discount for the same another way of making money. Total cost after 4 days 1.14lakhs plus around 25k spent on Medicine. Please avoid going to this hospital. PRO talks as if they are doing samaj seva (Social Service). Big time loot.please avoid this hospital.
Even 1 star is very high for this worst hospital in Bangalore.
Don't waste your money by visiting this hospital, they don't have staff, hospital is running with students, I was admitted for 4 days and my experience is very bad, staff are very rude with patient and no proper care. Overall very bad experience
Authorities should look into basic hospitality, and staff should get trained on ethics, there's no drinking water available for the patient, they just leave you blank without any information, you will keep finding a person to assist through out the day, no one is there to guide you, highly not recommendable, the mission has become money the vision has become to get more money
There's nothing more pathetic than to hear staff nurses commenting about the patients when they're right with them. The malayali nurses especially are very unprofessional, gives poor service, and passed comments about me not knowing that I understand the language too. I was given an iv fluid and the drip was leaking. I wouldn't say the cleanliness is that great either. The doctor who attended me was fine. This is just about the casualty side. I'd never recommend this place for emergencies.
Also, I read similar views on the staff nurses from 3 to 4 years ago. Its disappointing the management chooses to turn a blind eye to this.
Both my kids are born in this hospital.my sec baby is of 6months i had worst experience in my c section.anasthesia was not given properly i took whole pain in theatre literally am screaming later my pain never reduced.and had to undergoe one more surgery at ramaiah hospital cos thy didn't use sterile material for my c section for infection after c sec stitches nbeem used by junior doctors who are jt experience thy are killing us i had to face lif n death
There is a doctor named Sameer taking care of OPD. Don't trust him. He's a pakka fraud. Just went for fever at 100° celcius gave 15 tests and wrong medicine. Management should take action against him.
Well maintained hospital. All the staff are very polite and helpful. Dr. Chandrashekar Rao, Dr. Santhosh Kumar and their whole team has provided us the excellent service.
Went for emergency check up one nurse came n she told me if u don't have fever why u want to waste simply the money. Or come on Tuesday haha what was that doesn't make any difference to go today or Tuesday need to get sick first it seems
Doctors are Good. But the staff nurses only lie ("G ward") and make you wait for days to process billing, one of the worst PRO too. Please be careful before reaching there
Since evening I am alone admitted on bed C-79. And what I am noticing that no one cares what is happening with me. So sad to say tomorrow I will take discharge as it is night time I can't take any stand. I am single patient alone.
Very poor services too much partiality and no proper services for the patients highly non recomeded for being general treated also pregnant people waiting for a very long time for a general checkup near the nursing assessment room.no directing staff and having only one assessment room.m totally disappointed.
My overall experience was good. The things I liked were the friendly behavior of nurses and doctors. Best hospital for delivery as the doctors try for normal delivery atmost. Friendly atmosphere. The things I disliked was the OPD floor is too crowdy and very difficult to get a seat.
OBG department in St. Philomena's is very good, doctors are excellent, I have taken my cousin there as it was first visit there, in other hospital they told the baby died inside because of high sugars at 9 months then we tought of coming to St. Philomena's hospital as one of my friend recommended me, and she had one previous cesarean section also, even though they have tried normal delivery and delivered the baby normally, and monitored her excellently, and took very good care, staff was very humble and caring, doctors were very good at there job, they also counselled psychologically after delivery, am very much satisfied with the service and recommend this hospital to all.
If you want to get ultrasound go in mid afternoon. There were too many people jammed in the morning and that doctor fellow also does too fast.new doctor comes around 3 and there's zero rush.good for covid time
People come in seek of doctors and hospital for betterment but this hospital is purely not into any service of patients. They can't even afford a Xerox on the account many shops closed near by hospital. Just 1 rupee u can't help for your patient where in u charge huge for each and every thing. It took our peace away.anybody looking out there for a good hospital definitely not this the right choice ever. THINK Beforehand.
A very good hospital which is service oriented than profit making. There a re good doctors and nurses. This hospital is run by missionary management. The services and atmosphere are not like the top private hospitals with shiny and glossy interiors. The building is an old one - constructed decades ago. Hence expect only those kind of interiors. But you can be rest assured your treatment is in good hands and pocket friendly. Clean and Well maintained atmosphere. The cost of various consultations and tests/treatments are comparatively low. Sufficient parking space for approximately 50 Cars and 300 bikes.
Was admitted for treatment against Covid. This is not my first admission, my family members were admitted too over the years for various ailments and surgeries. Found the care given by doctors and nurses to be exceptional. There is room for improvement in the catering section. I felt that expense for the Cov8d treatment was a little steep.
Worst service doctors in casualty are worst with 0 experience and all the staff are rude and doctors dnt bothered to patient and instead they are busy with their phone
Earlier I would have rated this place as the best hospital who did service at an affordable price for everyone and that they were service oriented. But now they have become money minded monet thirsty crooks. They admit asymptomatic covid patients forcefully and make you pay 12000 per bed and don't discharge you for ten days no matter what you plea. How is this service where you you force people to stay who don't need treatment in a hospital and the insurance company also won't cover it. If you do decide to step in there all the best getting out without getting swindled
It's the worst decision to go to this hospital, we made the biggest mistake of our lives. We were blessed with babies after several years of our wedding. Completely trusted this place and the doctors there, the hospital is so outdated, we lost our son in the Nicu due to a faulty machine. Life is never going to be normal for us. We lost our previous son. Will never recommend this place. The gynecologist was also so casual about the whole thing.
Worst hospital, never ever try to go to this Hospital, they will take your life and send u back. I lost my husband who walked in normally, but retuned dead. Attention people - never ever go to this Hospital. You will 100% return dead
Great hospital during COVID care facilities. The infrastructure & the costs are really reasonable. The patient care is exceptional. All thanks to Dr. Masood shariff and Dr. Swapna baskar and the entire team for such great care.
Good service is given in the hospital. Nurses are few and there is also difficulty in getting single rooms. Doctors are well trained and their efforts to attend the patients are very good. Approchable staff and well maintained atmosphere. Clean rooms and the division of different wards can help people to reach out their sick very easily. Enjoyed the healthy food provided in the hospital.
Very good and excellent service hospital but very very bad hospital canteen no proper food not hygiene please I request to hospital management change canteen workers they not bath I think please change
Good tratement as I got my mother back as big commercial hospitals took money and at last lifted their hand sorry we couldn't do any thing but Dr sanjeev rao an angle save her life thanks to the hospital and administration god bless all staff and workers
I love this hospital because the doctor here are the best and they take care of you very well. They don't delay anything if it's a problem it will be taken care of and awesome medical services.
A very decent hospital built on old school values and traditions. It probably doesn't have the latest medical equipment but does everything to make sure you are well and doesn't charge you the earth for it.
Worst casualty experience.doctor's in casualty are worst with 0 experience. They doesn't know how to treat a human being then how will they know how to treat a patients who comes with pain and fear. Nurses are too rude and play with the Male nurses and fail to attend the patients. Doctors and nurses respects and attend only the rich patients who comes with their riches and no value for poor. Please never ever go to casualty at St Philomena's hospital. All the malayali nurses never respect poor patients. I went there with serve stomach pain but came back unsatisfied after paying Rs 1,500. They give you thousands of injections within few minutes to chase you out from there. Worst.worst.worst.guys please keep this in your mind never to go to St Philomena's casualty.
One of the oldest hospital in Bangalore. Expert Doctors and friendly staffs are the main highlights of the hospital. But hospital canteen was horrible in case of price and cleanness.
The staffs are very careless i have gone to do my blood test were has i had so many issue with these people once they have put some other test which my doctor had not written any how they have refunded my money when i checked it properly and asked them, again while taking report i had given for 6 test i got the report of only for 5, again i have to check and remind them, there are so many illiterate people who come for treatment how they will come to know if they have done this to them. These are minor things but dealing with patient they should be very careful if this is a case how people will believe them.
Very worst hospital ever i seen in my life.paticularly sr mariamma nurse, she was so rude when we enquired abt the patient. A nurse should have patience, humble to Expalin the information abt the patient. She is not fit to wear the dress. The mangament should take action against her.i have never seen a nurse like this, it was a very pathetic Experience here. I would not recommed any patient to this worst hospital. Moreover my grandma is admitted from past seven days there is no improvement in her.when we asked abt it, they are chasing us.
Fully money minded hospital Securities are behaving like some nasty dogs No proper toilet and drinking water facilities Very small canteen food is also ok ok In the surrounding we not at all get coconut water etc. Hospital is neat and tiny.
Main thing is the hospital staff don't know kannada at all and all the staffs speak in their owm mother tongue.
I was admitted for fever on 23rd Aug 2018. Dr Jessy was very kind but the nurses in ICU 2 are the worst I've seen. Second and third shift nurses chit chatting loudly laughing till 10: 30 in night. They act in front of doctors. But they are not service minded. A nurse named Ranjan used abusing language along with the night security. All the nurses leave the patients at once to drink tea. Consult OPD n philomines plz dont get admitted there. The worst part is sending a patient for scanning with nursing students who has no idea what the scan is for.
I admitted my grandma here. In this hospital they don’t difference between Inpatient and outpatient. They are treating Inpatient like Op patients. My grandma undergone Open Colycystectomy on 02/09/2018 morning. Dr. Sreedhar Pandith is very good surgeon I have seen in Bangalore. Patient is on OT table Induced and surgery was started one of the OT staff came to me and he given one prescription for Inu. Rocunium 10mg/ml. Suddenly he is telling that bring from pharmacy that is very far from Operation Theater. Without sufficient drugs surgery was started and induced by anaesthetic, in pharmacy also insufficient drugs. In prescription they wrote 3 quantity of injections, in pharmacy Only 2 was there. This is NABH Accreditation Hospital in Bangalore. If Patient Admit As Inpatient also they are getting medicines and usable consumables from us. What hospital it is. I never such a in my life. I’m working since 10 years in health care profession as OT Technician, Renal Transplant Assistant, Senior Anaesthesia Technician, OT pharmacy Incharge and Lecturer for (OT) Operation Theater Students in one of most reputed Hospital in Bangalore.
Worst hospital in the Bangalore. If you want to lose your loved ones, then this is the right hospital with worst service, rude stupid and cruel doctors, pathetic nurses, staffs, security staff and others. Most of the doctors there are just trainees and medical students experimenting with the patients' organs and killing them cruelly. Worst than the hell. Dr. Qaisar Anwar and all his team doctors are worst than the most cruel and deadliest animal in the world. Never ever allow to take your loved ones to this hospital especially the ICU where they start experimenting with the lives of our loved ones and finally kill them with their malpractice and overdose medication and act as if they are not at all responsible and blame everything on patient and their families for their planned murder. Please never ever visit this hospital if you and your loved ones wish to live. Not worth at all giving any rating or even a single star but as there's no option to post, given a star.
