Fantastic Stay. Good restaurant with varieties of food like veg, non veg, south and north Indian available. Indoor and outdoor gaming, spa, swimming pool available. Car Parking available. Very nice staff to cater.

Very average (old) property, poor buffet for the price, quite some walk to the beach especially if it is hot

Located in the outskirts of the city, it's in a beautiful location surrounded by greenery. It has a good restaurant and swimming pool. Option of indoor games is there which needs to be improved

This property is dated and due for renovation. Rooms are clean but bathrooms seem very run down as the fittings show their age. Rooms are spacious and they have balconies with a view. Food is okay and so is the service. I wouldn't be keen on coming back to this property.

Decent Hotel in a small town, Excellent Rawa and Tanduri fish, decent spread of Buffet and good food. Needs a facelift as far as entire building is concerned. Rooms are clean, the view of River Kali meeting Arabian Sea from the room is mesmerising.
Still, lot of scope for improvent.

Costumers happy in hotel good but drivers no sleeping rooms and dinner breakfast only washroom available.

We stayed here for 2 days 3 nights and it was an amazing experience. Lovely cust place amazing rooms quick room service. Polite behaviour of staff.amazing food. Moderate food pricing.

All amenities were good except the pool. The pool is of uniform depth, this makes it difficult for non swimmers to enjoy.

We have visited this place and it was a nice experience and well maintained and very educative display.

Friendly and courteous staff. Booking and checking in handled very well by Ms Wilma & Ms Parveen.

Mr Mohan and Mr Justin ensured that the stay was comfortable with prompt response to mosquito repellant etc by Justin even at 3.00 am when he was in night shift.

The location of the hotel is good though the rooms are small especially the bathroo.s and the building needs an upkeep for sure.

Peaceful stay, best housekeeping, Mr. Ajay Manager Food handles food choices very well. Best experience.

Sterling at its best. I didn't wanted to go back.thanks a lot Team Sterling, Karwar.

My 3rd wedding anniversary was ossum because of the entire team at Sterling Karwar team. They made our stay memorable.
From Food to the Room, it was just perfect. Super helpful team with Special mention for Ajay ji, Gajanand ji, Rajeev ji, Rajesh Ramaswamy ji, Parveen Maam. Thankyou All. The surprise for the cake for our anniversary the decor.was ossum
Each member had put so much of effort.

We booked this property after our pleasant experience with one of sterling properties in another holiday destination. This is probably the only decent stay in this area and has hill view on one side and sea view on other. The property as such is dated and in a very bad state with an immediate need of renovation. It feels like a place from 70’s Movies! The staff is extremely hospitable and food decent. It is right off NH66 and is at stone’s throwaway from Kali River Bridge which is a plus! We would rate it 3/5.

Being a member we decided to spend a week of workation in the hotel. Good staff and service is very good. Amenities also plenty to do but couldn't use much because of work. Location of the hotel is on NH66 which goes to Goa. Form the hotel you can drive into goa in 20 mins. Beaches are in the distance of 2 km. Kali river is just walking distance. Food also very good. Overall nic place to stay

Old property needing immediate large scale renovation.
The property is situated next to the Kali river Estuary with beautiful views of the bay, unfortunately the Hotel is quite old and needs immediate large scale renovations, both in the rooms, lift and passages. The musty smell in the corridors are revolting.
We had booked for 3 nights and were given accomodation on the 6th floor, the rooms were small and the toilet really old, there was seepage all over the toilet wall, only after raising a hue and cry we were transferred to a suite in the 5th floor after the 2nd day.
The only saving grace here are the staff members. They go the extra mile to serve the guests to the best of their abilities. They take the brunt of the customer's grievances with a smile which is a bit hard on them.
The pool is good but watch out for loose tiles which can give a nasty cut.
The food is nothing great to write about and the menu options are quite limited, we tried the local eataries and restaurants nearby during our stay.

We had a nice stay at Sterling Karwar.

1. Location - Excellent location with view of the highway & Kali River.
2. Rooms - Our rooms were good and clean. But overall the hotel needs refurbishment. Premises & pool area and all furnishing need to be revamped; hotel is an old property.
3. Breakfast - This was very good and part of our package. But otherwise we found the food to be very expensive and not worth the price.
4. Service & staff - very polite and good service.

It is nice quiet place, even though the hotel needs a make over. However staff and other services were very nice. Place as such has lot to offer, beaches are nice too. Just 60kms from Goa.

Great place. The staff is very courteous. The rooms are well maintained but the property is old, so if doesn't look very appealing from the outside.

1. Lift was not working. Got room in 6th floor, and imagine the frustration.
2. Room was stinking when we entered. Leaking walls, broken/damaged bath tub.
3. Located 10km away from city.

I had visited this hotel today and the front office manager Mr Mitra was not in his Uniform he was wearing a Tshirt it doesn't suits a brand hotel doing like this.and he was very rude in talking.

Not a fast running facility therefore stale food and incorrect order was offered despite clear requirement of fresh food being stated repeatedly. Bedsheet and washroom cleanliness was okay for a night's stay but wouldn't stay for more than a night here.

The view from my 4th floor balcony was excellent, sterling has to add simple South Indian food to their menu. Can't eat heavy food for days on end especially since we are senior citizens

Stayed in a suite, spacious rooms, well maintained, one of the very few luxury hotels there.
Food is good.

Very good views of river. Food options plenty and tasty too. The staff were very welcoming and made our stay very comfortable.

It is located on highway next to Kali river providing spectacular view. Also, close to rabindernath Tagore beach etc. Rooms are very clean, staff very nice and food is delicious. Lot of activities like badminton, basketball, football etc and have excellent swimming pool. Overall value for money.

Front office service was excellent by Ms. Paripoorna & Mr. Mitra. Restaurant with tasty food at very reasonable price and good service. Taxi and auto facilities arranged by hotel at cheaper fare.

I had an Awsm stay with my husband on my Birthday.only thing is being a Sterling member he didn't get booking always

Hotel is good with quite a few amenities.
But the location is very odd. You have to be dependent on hotel very everything as city is 5-6 km away from the hotel and there’s not even single shop in the vicinity.

Really great location. And the view from the top is good. The food they offer is also good.

Conveniently located closed to the highway. Best restaurant for food with ample car parking. Friendly staff, Menu has limited items on it.

I had a great stay here. The rooms are slightly small but very cosy. The service is great and the staff is very helpful

We stayed here for 2 days for a family of 8.this is a good place to relax.it has great amenities and staff was courteous.the pool is the best place.water was great.the outdoor play area is good.kids enjoyed it.the indoor area with TT pool.card games is nice.we even did karaoke night.overall recommend this place

PS we did not eat here for lunch.dinner.breakfast.we went to karvar city for lunch and dinner and udipi cafes nearby for breakfast

Hotel is situated near sangam place of Kali river.location is good.food is ok. Here swimming pool basketball court is there.

Very nice hotel, helpful staff. Well located on the highway. Quiet place, has recreation room for kids. Restaurant food is good but service is slow.

The man at the restaurant counter was extremely rude. When we mentioned that we were delayed on our journey because the coffee took 35 minutes to be served, he made a face and mumbled something under his breath, even giving us dirty looks. He pretended that the swiping machine was not working and we had to pay by cash. Unbelievable because this is the famous Sterling resorts we are talking of. Also, the staff at the restaurant seemed to be more interested in watching TV than attending to the customers. Disappointing experience.

No doubt 5 star hotel absolutely fantastic hotel for family and lickables wow wow fantastic with beautiful simple and Awesome Gym especially food is absolutely the main site of attraction

Every thing is good. 1thing we didn't like.they won't provide mineral water.we have to pay for that.only in the time of check in they provide 1lit water.so m giving 3stars.

Reached here at night in December 2018. It's a but hard to spot as there's just one small lollypop board to guide you. I think it's more to do with the ongoing construction. Staff is very warm and helpful. Sadly the lift wasn't working when we reached and we had to climb the stairs. Couldn't exactly explore the place as we were on a tight schedule. Rooms are clean and well kept. Bathrooms are a little too compact. The suite is far better in terms of space. Overall, a good halting spot.

Rooms were clean. Easy to locate from the road. Staff were friendly and cooperative. Food was a bit too expensive at the restaurant.

We used the restaurant while at Karwar, easily noticable from the highway, but the entry is blocked due to highway work, you have to figure out your way into hotel. No sign boards or anything. We ordered lunch. Not much options as they had veg and non veg buffet. We ordered ala Carte, the food was served quick and was good, tasty, Priced bit High. Worth trying
