Sunrise Homestay, Nagarahole

We recently stayed at Sunrise Homestay on my way to Ooty from Madikeri, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience. From the stunning location to the immaculately clean property, everything was top-notch.

Upon arriving, we were greeted by Rashan, the owner, who offered us some delicious coffee from his own coffee estate. The first floor where we stayed had a beautiful view sit out, a spacious hall, and two bedrooms. One of the bedrooms had an attached toilet, while the other was attached to the hall.

Rashan was an amazing host, going out of his way to make us feel comfortable and at home. He even suggested a beautiful ride towards Thirunelly temple, which turned out to be a highlight of our trip.

The dinner that Rashan prepared for us was outstanding, with chicken curry, egg masala, chapati, rice, and yogurt that tasted like it was cooked at home. He also helped us arrange a safari at Nagarhole for the following morning and served us a delicious breakfast of poori bhaji, coffee, and tea when we returned.

Overall, I had a fantastic time at Sunrise Homestay and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful, clean, and stunning place to stay. Rashan's hospitality and attention to detail were truly exceptional, and I cannot wait to return.

Very peaceful place to stay at. Just 4kms from Nagarhole tiger reserve Nanachi gate. Service is extraordinary! I would love to go back here.

I stayed with my family in this property for one day and my experience was awesome. We felt like home away home. Mr. Rashan was very hospitable and so his family. Dinner and breakfast served was very delicious. The room was neat and well maintained. Lightining of Firefly insects throughout the night was mesmerizing. I strongly recommend this property in kutta as this is nearer to nagarhole safari, iruppu falls and wayanad sanctuary.

I had the pleasure of staying at this property with my wife for a day. We had planned to take the evening and early morning Jeep safari at Nagarhole Nanachi gate. Dinner and breakfast was provided by the host at a part of the stay. The quantity was ample and the taste was delicious. The host also had back up power and switched on the generator at 5 AM in the morning since there was a power cut without our intervention. There is also the option to take a peaceful walk in the estate with a small pond that attracts beautiful birds. The host also provided tea/coffee on arrival and in the evening. Room was clean and there were 2 bathrooms, one had hot water facility. Mr Rashan made sure that all our needs were met to and I would highly recommend this stay for a peaceful and value for money homestay option.

This is a really good place to stay and especially host rashan is very polite informative about the places and everything around the location.
I personally recommend this place to each and everyone to stop by and visit this place and enjoy the place

Its like another home in coorg for us, vry gud place, well maintained, food was awesome, estate walk. Just wow!

We were a bunch of bikers, who visited this place, right from the time I called, the owner, Rashan, he was very accomodative of the request. He also did give advise on what are the possible activities in and around Nagarhole. He did send us pictures of the place. This is a beautiful home in the middle of a coffee estate, there is nice balcony, where you can sit and just stare at the plantations. What adds to this place is the host Rashan, every smiling, always yes for any request you may have, making sure you are comfortable, true Coorg hospitality. Thanks Rashan. Clean beds, Towels and bathrooms. I would strongly recommend it for a home stay.

We visited this place which is in kutta and its very near to nagarhole national tiger reserve.

Location:
Its just amazing to see sunset and sunrise from the balcony and its in between coffee plantation with a mix of jungle. The evening bonfire was amazing and we enjoyed our stay comfortably.

Food:

Amazing home made food Mr rashan (owner) was too kind and humble and we got provided with all the things we asked.

Please visit this place if you are planning to go through nagarhole national tiger reserve.

An awesome place to spend the weekend in, this place is one of the best places I've ever stayed in. It's in the middle of a coffee estate and hosted by the owner and his family. The food is great and homemade, place is clean and sanitized. Wood love to go again
