SW Beach Resort in Gokarna

We stayed here in January during our bike trip from Pune. First things first. It's very hard to find this place as there is no direct road connection. Parking is also an issue and we had to carry our bags through some farms lol. The place itself is lovely and the resort name is something else. The rooms they gave us were small, extremely small. No running hot water. I had big ants in my room, frog in the bathroom and on second night I even saw a scorpion coming in. Hell no! I had to sleep in my friends room that night. The food is okay as compared to what you can expect and this place is managed by family.

Overall I will say the stay was 3/5 and only the owners family is lovely. Else I think Gokarna itself needs to have better tourist infrastructure and road connectivity to the beach. Will not recommend the place unless you're on a budget!

Where do I start from? The rooms are not upto minimal standards, To begin with you got a slow running fan, big thick walls, mosquitoes all around you so you can't open the windows and on top of that poor service along with cold showers and you get visited by frogs, big ants and what not.

I had stayed there for two days and the stay was so bad, I didn't even get proper sleep because of the ants crawling all over the bed area. A lots of mosquitoe bits and not to forget a slow speed fan to sum it up.

If we come to the food section, As a vegetarian it was a such a bad experience and you can get better food else where in Gokarna and very bad service once again. They take their own time to prepare food and serve, if you seriously can't go else where you can make this a lost resort.

To sum it up, it was a very bad saty for me so please do some research before you book this resort in particular. So I don't suggest this resort to anyone else who wants a budget resort.

Great place, sea front resort and the managers are very helpful, they try arranging for everything within the property. We booked this place for 19 people and it was all worth it. Highly recommended. Great taste of food Nd ambience. The staff there is very understanding and helpful.

Hi, I had advance paid of Rs. 1800 for two rooms for the date of 24th Dec 2021. But due to circumstances we had to cancel the trip. As per the whats app discussion, it should be cancellable and refundable fully before 15 days. I am reaching out on phone since last 5 days on phone on whatsapp but no response. Please look into this and refund.

Responded, and finally received the refund. Updating the rating for handling this booking. Hopefully will update with pics when I plan some time soon.

No one response we are very suffering to search the room. We try to contact that person almost 2hr but he did not receive the call

Room is also very worst washroom also unclean it's very bad Expireance in my life

One of the best place to enjoy and for a peaceful stay. Food and hospitality is very good. Very friendly staff especially Mr. Shekar. I surely recommend this place.

An awesome place to stay with family n friends.finger licking food n nice ambiance. Staff is also very friendly. Just that the room must be little modernized.

Stayed here for 3 nights. Sw beach stay has a very good sea view, not much crowded and best part is we stayed in beach till early morning 4. And food is also very good chandu and shekar takes very good care of guests. Would like to recommend this stay for others to try this atleast once.
