Taawoon Restaurant

We went for a dinner but ended up having soup only. The restaurants ambience is quite good but it lacks in taste and food quality.

Hands down, we get the delicious and the finest biriyanis in town here.
Do try their Prawns and fish biriyani. The rice, the spices, the meat quantity and everything has quality and at the same time quantity.
Also try the prawns mango curry and also the Mixed Veg curry.
They do give importance to the ambiance and service.
Ample amount of parking space.
Price is bit high however its worth.
Once in a month visit is suggested.: D.

Dishes were tried are roti, butter chicken, American choupsey, hummus and bread. Just upto the mark.nothing extraordinary. Ambience gets 5/5.for being cozy and spacious!

Keralites can get traditional snacks from attached take away counter, served directly tho your table.

Cool nice place, but I have only visited this place for evening hi-tea and snacks. Off lately it is moreover crowded in the evening and you don't get seats. Tea, Chicken Samosa, Chicken cutlet and Chicken pocket are best and should be tried

Came yesterday with my son on Nov 12th 2023 ; Had a Chicken biriyani on evening ; To my surprise it came very cold immediately ; asked them to heat it ; was little worried when we had it as felt it was not great tastewise ; neither was chicken tasting fresh ; Yesterday my son vomitted ; today took him to doctor and said he has developed a food infection ; even i am feeling uncomfortable after having 20 % of the food which my son didnt have ; We come to a hotel mainly for safety ; Tawoon used to be the case ; I feel with last couple of visits not anymore

I had visited to Bangalore for a personal thing and visited Tawoon for lunch and seriously got blown away by the quality and taste of the food. The next day also we had lunch there. If you are in bangalore you can visit Tawoon eyes closed. We had the Chicken Manchao soup, Grilled platter

Very good restaurant and extremely good food. Kind of feels like very expensive but every items is kept on reasonable price. The staffs are very friendly and helpful. Highly recommending to try atleast once to enjoy the food and place

Food was really good. I went with a group of friends and none of us had one negative thing to say about Taawoon Restaurant. Shyam was our server and he was very professional and helpful. I will come again when I’m visiting Bangalore.

Pathetic place for dine in. Very bad service.it's twice that the order didn't arrive even after waiting for 25 mins. Cold food with chicken curry lacking chicken pieces. Would recommend you to not go to this place and waste your money.

Good place to have lunch with family/friends, just that the service is little slow.

We miss the authentic taste of taawon. For a while the quality and taste is not even worth a single star

Had a good dinner out there
Pro's: Hospitality 5 star, hot and sour chicken soup, chicken salad was yummy, chicken noodles is also good
Cons: we had squid rings the batter applied on squid was watery due to that it absorb too much oil I have informed the restaurant they promised me this won't happen again

I truly say their hospitality was very good, they'll serve the dish like fast and furious

Excellent environment, friendly service, great menu choices with their signature dishes and yummy food. Al faham, korean drums, mutton chukka are their must try

Have a mixed review of the for here. We ordered for biriyani and it tasted like yellow rice (chitranna). Butter chicken was good.

If you want enjoy good quality food in a good ambience then I would definitely recommend tawoon. Price is little costly. Big parking space is available infront of the restaurant. Loved it.

A good restaurant with great ambience. It is very clean and have cozy look. The food was pretty good and staffs were friendly. We tried the Korean drums, dynamite baby corn, Al-fahm chicken and Malabar Biryani. They can include more options in drinks and dessert.

Celebrated my sons birthday today and the event went very smoothly. From the booking until the closure of the party, the management and staff treated all our guests really well. We selected the 750+ tax buffet and the food was very tasty especially the mutton Biryani. The entire ground floor was given to us which made out event very private with no distractions. Overall it was a great event. Thanks to Bibin and Allan who took the responsibility of taking care of everything

Nice location, Good and tasty food.
We had ordered both veg and non veg for a pre engagement function for around 70 guests.
Service of the staffs were excellent and all the guests enjoyed the food and the place.
There was enough space for car parking.
Surely will recommend this to family and friends. We had a memorable event.

The koream drums are not spicy, so spicy lovers ignore it.

Butter nan are asusual good.
Madras chicken curry is very spicy.
Chocolate rolls with vanilla ice cream is a good combo.

The best food I have had, great Ambience and vibe, service
hygiene wise better sittings and everything has kept clean.

Great place fir nice food. We really liked non veg food at Tawoon. Premise is attractive and contemporary. They really paid attention while designing the dining area. Impress by facilities such as feeding room.

They have a-la-carte and set menu. Price are reasonable. Welcome drink is provided upon arrival.

Only issue is parking which is limited to 4 cars only.

I had been here with a friend of mine, the ambience was nice, the service was also quick. We ordered chicken tikka and biryani which was very tasty. The chicken was very juicy and the biryani was a mouthful of flavors. Looking forward to coming there again and trying some more dishes.

2nd time 3rd class experience. Strongly recommend not to go here. They dont have enough staff to serve on time. 2nd after 20min of order they have the audacity to say they dont have what was ordered and say what they CAN give. Want a bad day go to Taawoon

This restaurant and Cafe is located in kothanur run by keralite. In the fine dine restaurant they serve South Indian, North Indian, tandoor, Arabic, Continental and Chinese cuisines. This restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. There's a big banquet hall available which can be used for any family functions. In the cafe side they a lots of varieties of snacks items are there. Apart from the snacks, there's a fresh fruit juice counter, tea &. Coffee counter and a shawarma counter is there. There a nice outdoor seating arrangement on the cafe side. Good taste, good service, the place is very hygienically maintained. The cafe side is a good place for meeting and hangout with friends.

I have visited this place many times. They have variety of cuisine available. But definitely there is a space to improve. Especially on authentic Kerala food items and continental. Staffs are very polite and interior looks awesome.

Good Malabar chicken biriyani. Ordered chicken olathiyathu also which was really good with coconut pieces in Kerala style. No wonder Tawoon had great crowd in the evenings and weekend. Good place to stop for tea and snacks as well. Ample parking in opposite parking lot.

One of tmy new fave places to hv Kerala food! Their meals is just to die for ad absolutely worth the money! And the best part is that it's very tasty too! Service is top notch, will certainly visit again n again

Very nice place, nice ambience, large, lots of seating, multi cuisine. We had the fish mango chutti curry with Kerala parota and appam. Nice, but not as good as the one we had at the Paragon restaurant in Lulu mall in Cochin. Our son wanted chicken kabab. That was good. Hope to try other items over time.

I bought a Chicken 65 parcel from here. Rs. 250. We opened the parcel after reached home really cheated. Only bone with coatings. We didn't get atleast one piece of chicken. I complaint there in the counter but they said may be the Kitchen people made the mistake.

Pothi Biriyani is Good from this place

Where do I start? This is my go to place whenever I crave for some authentic Kerala Biriyani. The staff is so polite and welcoming, they literally are on their toes to deliver you a great dining experience. The ambience.the vivid variety of food and the hospitality of course is too good!

A neat decent restaurant for families and friends. Good menu with a variety of sea food. A nice thali if you want to have a quick lunch. Spacious parking is also available. Try out some sea food wherein you can choose from a variety of fishes displayed and they would just cook that and place it in front of you.

Best for seafood. Their Tandoori platter is the must try. Apart from that food was pretty decent for the price. Because you get more tastier food for the same price.
The staffs were not courteous enough to take orders and respond to us.

We paid the bill through magicpin which is a payment gateway.where in the app its clearly mentioned that payment is accepted in magicpay after paying the manager creates a fuss saying we cannot accept this payment.all my weekend got spoilt because of this arguement.the manager there is very rude and needs to learn manners, i request all not to visit this place ever.

May be it's a good place for non vegetarians and sea food lovers, but as a vegetarian I did not like it much. The menu doesn't have veg or non veg sections, it's all combines, you have to read the description under each menu item to know it.

The food quality was amazing, sea food is really good specially the calamari, fish and prawn are well cooked and very tasty. Service was a bit sloppy but other than that the food quality was amazing. They even had high chairs for babies.

Tawoon is predominantly a Kerala restaurant with the ability to serve some Indian versions of Middle Eastern dishes. The restaurant is spacious and well organized in terms of the layout. The staff is cordial. While the traditional Kerala dishes served are delicious and easy on the pocket, the dishes of the other cuisines that they offer are at best, mediocre. For instance, besides the Kerala parota, the other types of breads were dry and extremely tough. The rotis were so bad and chewy that I thought they used old ready-to-eat rotis, which are usually served by heating. The dessert options were few and weird even though the menu offers aplenty. I would strongly discourage trying the chocolate mousse. It was stale and extremely burnt.
I would recommend the restaurant only if one is interested to have some good food from Kerala in a fancy place or one can try the more authentic Kerala food from the mess that is located along the same road.
