Our experience dining at Taj Hotel was nothing short of disappointing. The food quality was subpar, with dishes that were tasteless and poorly prepared. Additionally, the staff members were unprofessional and inattentive, failing to provide adequate service throughout our meal. Moreover, we were alarmed by the lack of cleanliness and hygiene standards observed in the dining area, which significantly detracted from our overall dining experience. Regrettably, we cannot recommend for dining based on our unfortunate encounter, and we hope that they address these issues to improve the quality of their service and maintain hygiene standards in the future.

Very dirty place to visit, there is no hygiene at all, food quality is worst, There is nothing called Ambiance here, don’t waste your time and Money.

Old is gold, traditional muslim biryani, charcoal mutton sheekh, tender kabab, finish it off with a cold soda

They don't deserve even 1 star, poor service, low quality and high charges, you will regret if u choose this as a place to eat

Only tried chicken biriyani.average taste! Crowd is huger than the available seats! It will take some time when you order something.anyway I think it is one of the most popular and demanded restaurant in the area because of the crowd.

Be aware. My whole family got food poison after eat from there. We prefer do not eat from there. I will never ever go there. Food is bad and spoiled.

One of the oldest resturant in shivaji nagar. Their taste in food are not changed. They maintain the same taste and same flavours in their dishes. I prefer to go to this resturant after my shopping.

My childhood hotel, when Biryani was 1 Rupee, Roti 10 paise and chai 10 paise.
Rates have flared over 1000% in these past 60 years.
Taste of Biryani is the same and many of these dishes have grown with their age.

Since childhood have been going to this place, best dishes here are ghee rice, chicken kabab, grill and chops. Heven for non veg lovers, specialised in mughlai dishes. They cook on firewood like old times that gives smoky flavour for dishes. You will not find chicken kabab as good as they prepare since taste of masala can be felt from meat to bone.

Taj Hotel is perhaps the oldest restaurant in Bengaluru, with a legacy dating back to the times when British were in rule and a taste that’s timeless to this day; Must have Ghee rice, Dal, Chicken Kabab.

Very bad experience.i experienced that food was not at all tastier & also very bad service but prices are so high that its not even worth it. Don't visit.

I found unhealthy hand wash and the gravy was not good, taste was good, drinking water purifier was not clean from years. I need hygiene

My initial impression wasn't that great. But I have to say the taste of the moosambi juice exceeded my expectations. So Kudos! The temperature, sweetness and taste of the juice was amazing. The fans were interfering with the lights though. Overall good.

Tasty food and we'll attentive for customer satisfaction. If you go there try ghee rice and butter masala but it is difficult to get parking at evening time.

One of the oldest hotels of bangalore famous for its milti cuisine. They have carved a niche for themselves.

Good food specially briyani and the kababs. Parking is a BIG PROBLEM.you need to park somewhere near the church or commercial street and walk to this hotel. Car parking I think available in BMTC bus station shivajinagar.

They didn't give curd chutney with biriyani even after I ask also they didn't get curd chutney so 1
And they made me wait for 40 minutes

Today I had been to pick Chicken Biriyani at 8 pm, but it was not available. The cashier today they have Biriyani rice & Kabab, I had pick as review was good. Dnt go by review it was very bad.

Becareful on their billing. After so many hype I have gone there to taste famous Taj biriyani previously two times I have missed due to non availability, Car parking is biggest headache compare to bike when I ordered for chicken biryani, the family next table happy with biriyani but for me it's totally different as I am biriyani lover and tasted n number of biriyani's, taste and quantity is not worth for the price range 210 rupees and I don't know about price in A/C serving area. Hygiene is totally different for non A/C and A/C. I think kitchen will more lower in hygiene.
When I asked biriyani price server told 210 but cashier telling me 225 rupees

One of the best places for Chicken Biryani in Bengaluru. This place is open 24 hrs and they serve you hot food anytime you visit the place. They make amazing chicken kebabs, kerala parotta, pepper fry. The gravy is yum too. When you are hungry after midnight and dont have any idea where to go then this is the place. Its safe and clean. They have recently renovated the place and it looks grand.

Once upon a time this was our only choice for having mutton and chicken Biryan because of it exquisite taste. Over the years ambiance and service has improved but the taste has remain intact. The location is little crowded, nevertheless it a well visible and a well known restaurant near Sivajinagar Bus depot.

Located in shivajinagar u get good tasty food here but the rates are bit high its ok if u get giod taste but issue woth parking there is no parking space for 4 wheelers, only 2 wheeler parking it has

I was shopping for some stuff nearby and came across this huge hotel.it smelled great from outside and I decided to give it a go.ambience is nothing much.however they have huge seating, 2 floors and each floor has 2 non AC and 1 AC section.and it was packed.we were able to find one seat in the AC section on 2nd floor.ordered kalmi kebab, special basmati rice chicken biryani which was recommended and chocolate milkshake.kebab was really good and tasted very good.biryani was not that good.not sure why it was recommended.there is a different type of flavor and the rice is quite sticky. I did not like much.also too much sugar in milkshake. I took 2 sips and left it.all in all, an ok experience.can be tried.

One of the oldest budget hotels in Blore in shivaji nagar. They are mainly known for Biriyani, North Indian dishes like chicken butter masala. Kushka rice and kababs. Centrally located, from a small hotel it's also developed with bangalore and has an ac room for fly and ladies. Service is quick and the food is OK but great value for money. A very famous joint for late night food during the good ol Blore days. You shud visit and experience the place.

Didn't impress me much, food was fine and price was also decent. But the only thing I didn't like was how seriously they are about cleanliness of the place, it was mess for me. Didn't like the Toilets either broken basing, leaking urinate bowl and very smelly toilet. AC family settings are a bit better but outside seating is in very bad condition.

Excellent experience, good service, clean and hygiene environment, food taste is amazing, perfect ambiance, good infrastructure facilities, lot of nearby places to hangout in with friends and family members, behavior of the hotel management is really amazing. Overall good experience highly recommend.

It's in the heart of Local place of Bangalore.
The Kabab is the best that I have tasted anywhere plus the Quality and Quantity is par better than any place.
Best dishes is Biryani rice, ghee rice, khurma and Kabab.
Rumali roti is best in size and worth of cost, if a person orders two rumali its way enough.

Worst hotel lost his heritage.my mom used to say chichaba hotel is famous for food since 80's but now worst quality of food & lack of service and low hygiene.for 23 cool drink they charged 27+2.5% tax

We had good expectations as since we had visitors this place several place. This time it we had a very unpleasant experience. Unhygienic place. Tables were not clean, plates had stains of fresh curry, serving bowls were overflowing with curry.
Worst part was the hand wash area, filthy dirty, no water to was hands, servers don't even turn back to attend if there was any assistance needed.
It was atroucious ro have no finger bowl after paying almost the same amount of other Good hotels. I strongly recommend families who consider hygiene as priority not to visit this place.

Yummmmmmyyyyyyy biriani. It's located right opposite to Hotel Ashoka. I had ordered for Take Away and the wait time was 15-20 minutes. The take away is neatly packed given away in paper bag. They take payment - Cash and Card payment available here. I paid ₹750 for 4 Chicken Biryani. We can park vehicle in front of the hotel and sometimes unknown care takers charge you ₹10.
