Nice atmosphere, but very busy when we visited. Buffet meals was very average. We had ordered some fritters which were good. Seating arrangements is village style n very good. Visit only when its not crowded

Decent location very near from Vijaya Vithala Temple in Hampi.
This is a good thali place! They have huge parking.

There is no ambience at all but in the middle of a farm area with lots and lots of trees, langurs; they setup few sheds with tables/chairs and a kitchen!

There were some rabbits in the cage and kids fed them some carrot peels!

Decent place but the service is prompt.

We arrived late for lunch and they suggested Thali for quick service!

We tried 1 veg thali, 1 special thali, Jeera rice! Rice was OK and there was a string of hair in the jeera rice.
The highlight of our lunch was the Banana leaf curry; it is a must and very delicious.

I would advise the management to take the responsibility of the issue (hair) and acknowledge and assure the customers to improve the hygiene and I understand no one does this willingly!

Not for North Indian taste Probably they do not know the art of making nan, but serve strange product Dal or vegetables are somewhat acceptable Price is on lower side

They have buffet lunch till 3 PM post which it might be difficult as they have to prepare dishes again, and ala carte will close by 2.30 PM.

It has ample amount of space, surrounded by trees. This will your most suitable area of resting to beat hampi temparature. Washrooms are okay. Buffet lunch is 3/5

Alacarte - we ordered 4/5

Noodles soup is a must try.

Decent ambiance with budget friendly menu… try if you are love like village theme.rabbits and peacocks are walking around… kids will enjoy food… it sober and tasty…

Good hotel. They have tried to provide good vegetarian food at reasonable price and decent hygienic conditions.

My personal favorite place in hampi. Ideal to chill out when you are tired of traveling. Food is delicious with so many indian and other cuisines. We tried thali (with banana flower curry.so good) and pasta along with coconut milkshake. I loved the atmosphere, scenery and hospitality here.

Good stop before you go for vithal temple. Nice taste and surroundings. May get crowded often so better to go early

Food is good, atmosphere is also good.but too much of waiting time for food.we had to cancel few items due to delay

We were here on a dussehra holiday period and start of Hampi season. We were at the restaurant by 2 30 pm and it was 80% occupied.

Good
- location is close to virupaksha temple
- good ambience and clean space
- car parking

Not so good
- Lack of any kind of management esp in a tourist centric place
- chaotic at best
- after waiting for 1 hour we got lemon juice but no food. Rating is for that 1 juice. We left after resting and waiting.

Recommendation

- Search for Hotel Varsha and have a good meal there. Or the other famous cafes.

The worst Quality service ever I have sceen. No clarity about the availability of food, no match with menu chart. Cleanliness is in quistion mark. Management and the service stuff will misleading as an when required. Quality and quantity both were not adequate as per price. Behaviour and atitude is not friendly and very unprofessional. Not at all recommended.

A good dining area amidst nature. We went there for breakfast and the food was very yummy and fresh.must try their poori bhaaji and aloo parathas served along with hot tea/coffee.overall a nice experience.

Tamarind tree restaurant is a place where the food is perfect for foreign/ tourists who are looking for mild flavours but traditional tastes. Will definitely recommend foreigners to visit and the ambiance is absolutely beautiful.

Rajesh took us there during CS event hampi calling 2021. Food was amazing. Hospitality was amazing and the environment is super. I did not want to leave the place even after food was over.

Excellent super savoury food price of a thali is little higher side but it is worth. The quality of Lassi is too good

Great food with great dining areas. Their tables are like You can be at relax mode while dining and can have long conversation with big group. One should visit this place if they are in hampi.

Quite popular among tourists. The food was good. We had thalis for lunch. Schezwan noodles was very tasty, you can try if you want to try Chinese. We also crispy onion for starter, that was also very good. You can sit back and relax because of open space sitting arrangement amongst trees.

Food is good, amenities not good, only 1 handwash, spotted a lizard on the mattress and delayed service

Pathetic food at a high price.they have a tie-up with local riksha- walas, they bring you here just to rob you.: (

Fraud by Waiters & Management:

1) They took 85 Rs for a one glass of plain buttermilk as the buttermilk was not listed on a menu card & I have to pay 170 just for two glass of buttermilk. The buttermilk was very watery and below average.

2) Overall this hotel serves disgusting food now a days, go for Mango Tree hotel near Virupaksh temple for better food.

Very worst food items. There is no good quantity n quality also. Too much expensive and more over not at all tasty. I have to mention on their so called special banana leaf curry it was like very bad we can't eat it.
Don't prefer this restaurant.

One of the best restaurant in Hampi, They serve really good and hygiene food! The service is really fast and very friendly! Must visit place in Hampi for lunch.

Beware of the fraud by autorikshawalas
We hired a auto for an entire day when we asked him to take to lunch for a good hotel he took us here
In the parking lot there were around 15 autos.as Soon as I saw this, I understood this hotel has booked commission with all the autowalas
It has no proper bathroom and the food is worst among worst
If ur autowala brings u here just ask him to take to another hotel, it's just a scam

Food is average. Service is slow. This is probably due to the fact that it is the only restaurant in the vicinity of the Monolith Stone Chariot. It also closes at 6: 30 pm. Has ample seating and is veg only.

Restaurant is on the open agricultural land. Tents are properly put. Authentic Karnataka food is served, the banana flower curry was excellent. You have normal plastic chairs to seat also bedspread to sit and eat. Awesome taste, it's on the way to vittal temple ruins at hampi

Nice place, good ambience for lunch, on the way to Vijaya Vitthala Temple.
Price I feel was little high but taste was good and there main customer seems to be tourist only. For dining, they have two option. Either normal chair-table style or floor sitting on mattresses with table of height around 2 feet.
As we had covered most place near Hampi, and Vijya Vitthala temple is in a secluded/last spot for visit, this food point will occur at lunch time in our selected tour package, most of the tourist have lunch here only.
Giving 3 star because of slight high price and service was also little slow.

Need to improve quality of food and quality of service. Ok ok place to have food if nothing is available around

Poor service, I realised that they gave mattresses to actually sleep rather than to eat. Lime soda was pitiful, at best, especially when u had to give 45rs for something which ain't even worth 10 rs.
Food was barely okay, and it's on the expensive side.

The food was tasty and super, the nature of restaurant is essential, the staff is super, overall good good.

Stale and tasteless food had a bad experience eating here and later one of my frnd was unwell stomach upset after having food from this place. The guides and cab drivers take us there bcoz they get commission for getting customers

Nice hotel, if you want to try local food and want that local feeling. Hotel is surrounded by banana tree. It is very eco-friendly they have rabbits, peacock as a pets. Food was great.

This place is not having much to offer. It's simple and provide you good food under a budget. It feels this is one and only place at that area as most of the people travelling through the route were coming for lunch breakfast here.
