Tapprs - Lens and camera rental in Bangalore

Rented a nikkor 200-500mm. The lens was in great shape. My area was not in within their delivery range but they still met me halfway for the delivery and pick up. Great service. Kind staff who let me rent on a short notice. Very affordable, would highly recommend.

Rented binoculars twice. It is very well maintained and works as intended.

This is the first time I rented photography stuff. I rented a couple of cameras and a lense from Tapprs. Opted for home delivery and pickup. From the time I ordered the items on their website, the coordination from their representatives, delivery guys was pretty good. Cameras and lense were in decent condition. They didn't ask me for a security deposit which was pleasantly surprising. Being an enthusiast about photography and camera gear, I am glad now to know that I have a place from where I can rent out stuff.

Best place to rent photography accessories in bangalore.i took canon lens from here, and from taking delivery to handing over the lens it was smooth. I was also trying toehold but they were quite complicated so i would highly recommend tappers.

Tapprs has been a boon to my ever increasing greed for camera equipment. The always available, always friendly service is a very addictive reason to focus on taking photography to a new hobby level.

WORST Behavior of the staffs, irrespective of regular customer or not, customer service is very important which was horrible with this team, incase of a delay in delivering the gears they speak so rude and treat the customer at a low level, and more than any factor during the conversation they bring up language and regional barriers in between and treat you outcast which is totally atrocious and unacceptable, this is the worst experience I have a face with humiliation will never tapprs going further!

They do have a great collection of lenses. Prime, telephoto, extenders, APS-C and full-frame bodies. They have an average pricing scheme. Given the amount of options they offer, the expense is relatively warranted.

They do give you bags and carries for the equipment you rent out too. When you rent out bodies, they give you a 16/32 GB SD card too depending on the sensor.

You'll need to deposit one of your IDs that will be returned when you return the equipment. You'll also need to be registered on their website to be able to rent. Overall, pretty good.

Very professional camera and lens rental services. Have borrowed thrice and always had a very good experience with them.

Tedious registration process, requiring particular documents like electricity/water bill for proof of address and identity. I get their intention, not wanting to loose their rental gear to strangers without any way to track them down, but their method for doing the same seems very outdated.

And another observation I made was, the staff aren't very friendly or helpful, not outright rude or arrogant persay but it ends up seeming so. Makes any customer think twice about coming back to such a place.

Now inspite of providing you guys all the documents as per your requirement, I got a call stating that my resignation fee would be refund and cannot be processed from the backend.

I'm pretty surprised to here that. Not sure what exactly the reason for the deny of my registration.

I would like to share my experience. I had accidentally transferred 9000 rs instead of 900 rs. I called up Tapprs and informed the same. They requested for my banking details and returned it within 24 hours.

The guys who deliver the lens and take it back are very polite and prompt in calling before delivering and also while picking it back.

I'm impressed with the overall customer experience for far with all my rentals.

It went like a breeze booking with tapprs was flawless and the response was quick and helpful, the information provided and they way it was handled everything was on dot and perfect.the equipment's i rented were flawless and worked very well without any issues and overall experience with them was really good i would recommend highly for renting camera and accessories with them

Very bad place, if u dont know what is the price of some equipment when u renting it, never ask the lady who sits in there office reception, I had rented equipment for one day any they charged me for two days, feeling cheated

I rent online for the first time as i don't believe in online products.
But this Tapprs equipment is excellent with excellent customer service, the equipment was delivered to my doorstep on time, that makes easy and convenient for a person like me.

I have used Tapprs to rent lenses and accessories and I have always been delighted by the quality of their products and the promptness, professionalism and courteousness of their staff.

I have been renting with Tapprs for years now and haven't changed to any other providers even when I find few lenses a bit cheaper with others, is only cos of the service they provide. I recently tried out Tapprs. What a service! Its absolutely an ease to register and get the KYC done. A meagre amount as deposit which was a surprise for me since I have only seen 3 - 4 digit deposits from rest. Plus they have a dedicated delivery within the radius of their operation at a nominal cost and this cost can be paid along with the rental fee making it all easy for a customer. They have a decent collection and am sure they will upgrade on regular basis. They have a beautiful feedback system which clearly shows their intent to stay in the market and be successful. I wish the team all the best and wish to remain a Tapprs "permanent" customer.

I have been a Tapprs customer since 2014. I am very satisfied with the variety of equipment and gear available in their inventory. All the equipment that I have rented till date were received in excellent condition! Rental rates are also competitive. Their door delivery and pickup service is great and convenient.

While the world is moving forward with providing better and better Customer experience, i had a really tough time today with Tapprs trying to avail their rental service. Getting to register with them has been a terrible pain. 24 hours ago i had mentioned to them that i needed the equipment for a 1 day event for the next evening, mentioned that it need to be delivered to a specific location and provided all the proofs they had asked for. Later next day i had to remind them in the morning about my request. I ended giving a bunch of ids they had asked for (which again was a pain as they kept asking in 'small drips') and just wanted to fasttrack with the registration process as i had only few hours left to start, to which the lady on the call mentioned i have to 'transfer' them a non refundable INR99 and place an online order. I asked if i make the online transfer can they guarantee the delivery of the equipment within 2 hours, to which she said all their associates are all on the delivery process and that she can send it by 6pm. Seriously? I then asked her to delete my account as it doesn't make any sense to keep my records, she said she wont.

That deserves a 1 star for sure.

Dear Tapprs - iIm sure you are expecting this.
I understand your business model requires a strict process. This is not me trying to vent out, but helping you with a small piece of suggestion (again i'm not hoping you will take it.seeing all your other responses) - Make it smooth for your customers. Stop treating all your potential customers as if they are all gonna run away with your equipments.
