One of the best restaurants which provides AUTHENTIC KERALA CUISINE. I've been taking this route for commute to work and back but never had a chance to get in and taste the food until last weekend, and believe me, the food quality and taste was beyond my expectations. At first I was a bit skeptical, cuz I had pretty avg experience from other Kerala cuisine restaurants from Bangalore and this was not even that flashy restaurant compared to others. But, as the old saying " do t judge a book by it's cover", THATTUKADA KERALA MESS, stays true to its name, by serving delicious and very tru Kerala dishes, ranging from the meals, sambar, curries, and even the crispy porotta. The place has approx 20-25 people seating at a time, and during lunch hour it will be crowded.
To conclude, I stay a bit far from the place but I'm happy to do the travel just to experience the authentic taste.
My personal rating: Quality 5/5 Quantity: 5/5 Recommended: ABSOLUTELY. Do visit this place.
Food is only kind of okay, nothing great. Had heard from a friend that they used to serve excellent chicken biriyani on Friday afternoons and they used to be really crowded pre Covid. My experience post Covid was just okay. Haven't seen the place open on 3-4 times recently. Doubt if they have closed.
Not a good experience. Didn't have any options. Only biryani and rice. Took the meals option. The taste wasn't that great either. Cleanliness is also very less.
Boiled rice is over boiled and it looks like fat bee and it tastes like horror tat u don't visit again and the price of the food is too muxh as if it is a 5star Please improve ur cheff
It's one of those places to go for affordable less costly Kerala style food. They serve Meals with fish, Appam, Puttu and other Kerala dishes including beef, kadala, egg and mix vegetable curries.
