Thalassery Restaurant

Had nice pathiri with beef roast. Both are very bad. Also we had appam with prawns roast. Appam was ok, but prawns roast was completely North Indian style also prawns are like rubber bands, not well cooked, soo hard nd chewy. I don't know why this restaurant have this much fame in this area. It's thalassery by only it's name not food. I think the management were completely changed.

Found hair in main course. The snaks were under coocked, when I told the guy he said just remove the under coocked part and eat.

Tea here is Good. The have a good range of snacks as well. The surroundings of this place is not the cleanest. Can't blame the store for this.

I have meals from this restaurant, it was very nice and tasty. Cost is also comparatively cheaper. Fish fry quality should improve

Food tastes good and is affordable. The quantity they provide is also sufficient. Didn't like the fish curry with coconut (തേങ്ങ അരച്ച) much. Have tasted the other items and they were good. Porotta is freshly made and not the packet porotta as in some other shops

I have been a regular customer of Thalassery for quite sometime. The food is tasty and service is good. It has good sitting space for family too.

Bad food & service. If meals is ordered, don't ask for extra rice, old watery rice will be served. Never go to this place

Chicken quality and dish is wonderful, parota here is also good. Price was reasonable to quantity. I will try again here.

Thalassery is a Kerala style hotel located near Mathikere Bus stop and Ramaiah Medical College. The quality of the food is satisfactory. They make excellent Kerala Paratha. There is no parking for cars.

I had biriyani from here, and it is not tasty. I felt the price is bit high. And felt difficulty for parking the car.

The servicing is very late u get to wait for 30 min for a dish
Environment is fine
Food can be better

Full non veg shop, you get types of variety of chicken and the taste is nice, but the price is moderate from other shop

I had Thalassery Chicken Biryani and it was just average. I think Thalassery chicken biryani of Savoury is way better. But in this Mathikere region its okay.

Best place to eat appam and idiappam in this lane, More over their Chai is an exceptional masterpiece.

Decent kerala cuisine. Not exceptional and nothing bad either. Fast service and excellent rates. All types of mallu dishes available. They even have an app. Very popular in this part of Bangalore

Thalassery, The name itself you find that it serves varieties of Kerala special cuisine. It is affordable to have food with friends and family tummy full.

Tandoor roti was like papad so thin and hard and one for rs 25, I though it is supposed to be soft and thicker than a chapati. You wont get what you pay for. Go only when no better option available

I had chicken dry biriyani.
It was 170 Rs. 50Rs more than kannur but I don't know if its normal rate for Bangalore.
Taste was good and felt homely.

So we entered the hotel at 1.20
Ste service person gave us the menu after half an hour then we ordered our food we waited for an hour so i went to the service person and asked him when will i get my food he told us to wait for other 15mins. So we left the restaurant without having any food. While we were leaving the service peron started using abusive languages. Extremely bad service never visit this restaurent. Extremely bad service for family. Restaurent management take action according to these type of employes

Nice ambience. Rates reasonable. I had ordered Chicken grill, paneer butter masala n Butter naan. It was tasty and was good in quantity also.

Good place.you can get authentic kerala food.but the biriyani (its disappointing.its not even biriyan)

It is very good restaurant in that locality with a long list of varieties available, but might be one problem for the pure vegetarian people as they cook both veg and non veg dishes.

Nice place to have kerala foods especially my personal favorite is biriyani the food there reminds me of malabar foods

Average quality food, Onam Sadhya was the worst i have ever tasted in my life. They charged 350 Rs and the quality was very very poor, not even worth 50 Rs

Don't go there, briyani is not good, I think this restaurant is good for kerala people but for kannadigas not good, no taste in briyani and other foods

Thalaserry @MSRIT, mathikre - Nice Kerala food. The owner n his brother and warm n talk with a good heart. Food is good -non veg mostly -fish, muttons etc. Take away is packed nicely in leak proof parcel

Average quality and quantity of food. Jump in if you got plenty of time. MINIMUM TIME TO GET THE FOOD ON THE TABLE IS 20 MINUTES!

Every malayalees who had visited here, will not chose any other Kerala restaurants in Banglore. Taste of the food was extremely awesome compared to any other kerala food spots here. Must try place for who haven't visited here.

Great Non-Veg food. As I'm from Maharashtra I haven't eat chicken dishes with curry leaves, it was new to me. Yeesss, Chicken with curry leaves tastes great.

Popular restaurant with a lot of good options. The quality of food is not consistent. If you are lucky you will get good food. If you are visiting during peak hours you have to spend a lot of time here. The behavior of the staff can be annoying. It is a good place if you have time to waste and want to try something different.

Food taste just ok, but main issue is hotel is completely
unhygienic. Two times there was cockroach in the food. Overall, restaurant managers are not bothered about any cleanliness. Food authorities should take legal action against this restaurant.

The food is good and the water they serve is not good.but it is great to be there and when your going with a group of friends and girlfriend.

It's costly and at the same time food quality is very bad. Cannot recommend. We had meals, kozhuva fry and beef pepper fry. It was not tasty and not at all good. Very small hotels or even street shops will serve far better food.

Today I bought "chicken dry biryani" and "kalmi-kabab". They cooked a cockroach in the biriyani. Worst experience. Better not to go that place.

Taste is good. Serving time too late especially if u sit in 1st floor. They said biriyani is finished by 4 which was quite Embarrassing in a kerala hotel

The food is authentic and Taste is far beyond. Authentic Kerala taste and I would suggest you to visit there if you would like to explore Kerala food. Right from imprinted Kerala traditional pics on the wall, to filling out ur stomachs with food, this place is a must visit. Price wise also, it is cheap compared to other big hotels. I have never seen anyone able to complete the full Biriyani there. It would fill out ur stomachs very soon. Try it out.

Very bad kerala non veg. Don't go. They don't know how prepare non veg other than biriyani.i paid Rs. 250.for parcel. Through it in the dust bin without eating anything in the night. I can make food better than this.i am not going to this shop anymore. If some one want to go and eat kerala non veg in thalassery its better to kill any dog near mathikare, banglore and eat. Its more tastier than thalassery restaurant food.

Good ambience. Food is little unsatisfactory for north Indians. Large range of food items within affordable prices.

Good restaurant that offer Kerala style food in reasonable price. You will get authentic Kerala snacks also. They have North Indian cuisine as well. Place will be little crowded and very lively. And the unfortunate part is they do not have a parking lot.
