Cheap and best, the biryani is one of the best Kerala style biryani I had in Bangalore, I am a very regular customer and the parotta with egg curry or roast is really tasty, very pocket friendly and no compromise in taste or quality.
Extremely expensive Resturent. Compared with the price, they should improve the quality of the dishes. Supplier doesn't know the availability of dishes. Moreover they are not friendly too. Their face expression changes immediately, if we say we want only vegetarian dishes.
In a moment i myself felt that, why i came here?
Overall its too expensive and food quality is not up to the mark.
Very bad service, first time I went to this hotel, I ordered meals, then wait up to 20 mnts, after waiter told us no meals. He is wasting our valuable time
It’s basically an affordable non veg Kerala restaurant. Earlier it used to be really good. But lately the quality has gone down a bit. The Kerala porotta and chicken Biriyani is still superb. Both the chicken rolls are mostly just onions. Pazham puri, which is basically banana fritters is a must try.
Here’s the thing though - if you buy Kerala porotta directly from the restaurant, it only about Rs 15 each. In Zomato, it shows that it Rs 20. Zomato does seem to amp up the price of each product. It’s better to come to the restaurant.
Best Kerala food serve here with reasonable price and best quality.
We tried meals with Chicken kabab from here, they serve meals in banana leaf with authentic Kerala dishes. You can try varity of fish fries as well.
We visited there on Dec 2021, Ground-floor only opend and it's too crowded. Tables are very small especially when you are having Banana leaf meals, only 2 person can sit in a table.
But they never compromised on the quality nad taste, must try Restaurant in Bangalore, especially when you are missing your home.
Great place. Wonderful, supportive, and humble staff, that treats you well. The cooking is very delicious and all the foods have a Kerala touch to it. A must try is its Biryani. An overall superb experience.
One of the good restaurants in Bangalore. You can try north and south Indian food here. However, you can try delicious kerala food here which is famous.
I had a worst experience today. Ordered mutton biriyani with checkin leg piece for take away. Mutton biriyani was not tasty at all. It was just like a rice n sambar. The speciality of chicken leg was so hard to bite, it's seems the chicken was not so fresh n the way the cook has prepared the masala had made the chicken to die.
Had Chicken Biriyani, Porotta & Butter Chicken, and Lemon Tea. Biriyani was yummy, Butter Chicken tasted authentic, porotta was fresh and hot and same with lemon tea was refreshing. We got happy that we git all these items hot even as we went in as late as 3: 30pm. Only negative is that the place is very small.
I ordered chicken dum biryani it was so worst they literally gave white rice and boiled chicken such a worst experience! I tried arekere branch chicken dum biriyani it was the best chicken biryani. These people are not even giving a proper answer for what I asked so irresponsible worst biryani ever!
It's a good restaurant as have tried in there many branches in the other country as well.the taste is similar and the staffs r really humble and good service.
Excellent place for take away/parcel. The restaurant has a good menu, nice Malabar dishes and reasonably priced. Limited sitting place for dining in, definitely worth it. They are quite busy and service is always quick.
Tasty typical thalassery Biryani and meals. Sea food, Chicken verities, Kerala style Meals, Thalassery DumBiryani are the highlights. Must try. The only drawback about the place is its a bit congested, not that spacious.
Nice place for authentic Kerala food.they have a good menu and have never been disappointed till date with any of my visits. Quality of food and price has also been maintained very well to attract crowd.
Very small cramped place, but with really good food at low prices, so its totally worth it. They deliver as well but I wpuld recommend going there, especially if you're going to order something like appam, dosa, or kerala paratha.
Value for money unlimited meals. For just 60 rs in Bangalore u get full meals and the servers serve you with their hearts out. And their taste of each item is simply awesome. Rice, fish gravy, sambar, sweet and so many side dishes. Thank you.
Good kerala food. Lunch time is always crowded. We have to wait for 10 minutes for d seat. Fish, chicken and mutton items are available. Lunch will b served in banana leaf. Parcel service is also good. Chicken biryani will cost 120 rs if u r purchasing from there (swiggy 160). Biryani rice is also tasty which costs 70 rs.
One of the good Kerala Restaurant in Kammanahalli. Sometimes you have to wait for the seat especially lunch and dinner time. Parking is one of the issue here (4 wheeler) Kerala Parottas and the Thalassery special chicken curry are the best. Their sea food dishes are worth to try. The place is small but the quality of the food is very good. Kerala meals is reasonable RS 60.
Kerala. Namma Thalassery restaurant the food is authentic.clean and is well served. Quantity good an quality is good too. Ambience is super great.pleasant experience to dine in. I guess it's day one here an I got to see the Kerala tradition band playing at entrance mesmerized with the beats and the chimes. Music to ears.ordered kebab chicken biryani. And not bad for the starting price good job. Not difficult to find and is pretty family freindly.so try it out
Parking difficulties unless its early morning or late night. This place caters to an assortment of different kinds of South Indian tea. Black, mint flavoured and regular are readily available. They also have a limited variety of deep fried SI snacks which include potato bondas and Kerala's banana fritters. It's a good 'hit and run' place to quick start the day on your way to work/college. Also an excellent rainy day pit stop.
I have been to Thalassery in Kerala quite some time back beautiful green land. To be honest I did not enjoy fish there as much as I did at this restaurant. The restaurant we visited was not very big but the service provided was great which u generally do not get at such restaurant's. Got to taste variety of fish. Silver fish crispy fried was really good. Appam with fish curry was awesome. The boy suggested to try prawns biryani. The prawns were in good big size. Very reasonable price. Overall enjoyed the food. They intend to shift to a bigger location.
Parottas and the Thalassery special chicken curry are the best. Their sea food dishes are worth the try. The breakfast menu is so good that you'll want to quit cooking at home in the morning and choose to eat here instead. Prices on their menu are reasonable.
COCKROACH Very late post. Last year I visited with my wife to have chicken biriyani. She got small cockroach from that. Soon I called the bearer and informed. I thought not to create a scene by shouting at them because a lot of people were having biriyani. That guy went and told in the counter and they replaced the chicken biriyani. While stepping out I informed in the counter to keep an eye in the cleanliness of your kitchen. That too they charged me the same without any shame or sorry. Ofcourse the have transparent kitchen, but still it happened. Later only I realized that they have taken biriyani from same big BIRIYANI POT to refill! They should have stopped serving biriyani at that moment, as they have cooked the entired biriyani with this COCKROACH in that big pot. Careless management. Very pathetic experience.
This restaurant is in Kammanahalli delight for eating out especially if you're interested in thalassery your Kerala delicacies. They also serve popular non veg and veg dishes, slightly spicy but prorated according to your preferences. Slightly open air place so you have to take care about the dust arising from the traffic from the adjacent road which is quite busy.
