If you miss homemade Kerala meals, this is the place for you. Generous portions and a variety of sides, definitely worth a visit.
The spacious interiors and wood decor make you feel like you're actually seated in a tharavadu. The steps leading up to the restaurant are a little unsteady tho
They have amazing biriyanis and other non veg items. The rates are pretty reasonable but there are some put of the way pricy things as well. They have got a great interior and they have made it look beautiful. Service is very good and its located right beside bommanahalli bus stop.
This place is my go to place for having an authentic Kerala food. The price is slightly on the higher side however it is justified for good taste, best service and traditional ambience. The restaurant portrays the simplicity of any Kerala hotels located in the god's own country. My favourite item here is Kerala chicken briyani (served with pickle and pappad) and Kerala meals with fish Curry and mathi fry. The chicken served here is so soft and tasty and they maintain consistency in serving the same good taste. Don't miss the vermicelli payasam after the meals. I will photos when I visit the next time.
The best part about this place is even being into a region of south they will serve you a number of options in cusine and one of d best south Indian thali's.
One of the best kerala food spot in bommanahalli area. The food is awsome especially the meals during noon time which is having more than 8 sides by itself. Mostly crowded on weekends during 1 to 2 PM. The menu is little expensive but the food is reasonable for that price tag. The only issue is that lack of parking space. Be careful when parking infront of the building because its basically a no parking area and some pockets roads are also connecting in between. Since the restaurent is on the first floor, be cautios while parking in order to get the view of your vehicle.
A calm and quiet place for food lovers, especially Mallus (Malayali) they have got a delicious verities in their menu. But beef fans keep away and find another place as they don't serveit.
Nice restaurant with good interior.good staffs and service.tasty kerala food.restaurant is on 1st floor.there is an outside staircase which is bit risky for aged people.parking space is less.
Excellent place to try the authentic Kerala food items also all the dishes at reasonable price which makes a plus. Fish curry is a must try.peaceful ambiance and friendly staff.
Ambience was really good. Food service was okay. Not at all crowded on weekdays. Food prices are bit costly. The staircase to the hotel is not neat. Good place to visit with the family. Food taste was good. Kerala mathi fry and meals are must try food here. Parking is not available.
Amazing kerala style dishes. The ambience is nice too. The problem is with the location. There is no parking place, even for 2 wheelers. The surrounding area to the restaurant looks shabby.
Up until 3 years ago, Tharavadu was my go to place for an awesome Kerala meals. The only drawback was the steep metal staircase which would be a bit tricky for elderlies and people with some kind of disability. Parking was also a problem, though I don't know about the present situation.
The ambience is not very great but the food more than makes up for that. Soft appams, excellent kadla curry, fish fry and mutton pepper. The fish curry and rice was just out of the world. Totally VFM.
I have been there couple of times. Kerala style meals are good. You can prefer samba rice or white rice on meals. Side dishes are very good and the cost is little bit higher. Though it is worth the price for the taste and presentation. Some waiters are more polite and understands customers requirements / preference. Good ambience for individual / family / friends. Stairs to first floor is somewhat slippery, be careful while climbing. No parking available for cars. Overall decent restaurant. Excellent taste. My favorites are Kerala meals, Neimeen curry/fry and appam. Good luck!
