The Bouvice Hotel

We decided not to stay after the bizarre service we received when checking out a room. We’ve had bad luck with hotels in India being misrepresented or gaming reviews (or attacking reviewers until it’s changed) so we decided to physically see hotels in Bangalore before booking.

We walked in and asked to see a room. The manager gave us water and a juice and tried to give us a treatment that appeared to be trying to persuade us to stay. But we repeatedly asked to see the room and check the wi-fi. They said okay and took us to a room which appeared fine, but the wi-fi didn’t work (hit 2 mbps and 2s latency which won’t work for calls).

So we tried to communicate with the manager. He repeatedly dismissed our concerns saying “I have routers it’s fine” and we said “no we were just up there it’s not fine”. We asked if we had the wrong network and if he could try again but he was getting whispers from the staff that led us to believe it is just not working. So he tried telling us repeatedly to just work from the common room for a while or try different places. We kept saying we need to see a room with wi-fi that we could book. Eventually we said screw it we are leaving.

So I can’t recommend the service or the WiFi. The rooms and the location appear just fine. I hope they can fix the WiFi and adjust the mentality of the manager because we didn’t feel welcomed we felt manipulated and it wasn’t pleasant.

Good hotel, clean rooms. The bathroom had some issues, the flush wasn't working properly, but other than that the rooms were nice & clean. And staff is very prompt and helpful, made my stay a good experience. Would recommend.

Rooms were neat and clean. Hot water available. Spacious rooms and service is okay. Nearby Koramangala.

The best hotel in Bangalore on terms of location and price range. Entire service of staffs were good and room cleanliness was excellent. Amazing stay and food is good.

Delux Rooms are specious - food and services are quite good.
Also they are very supportive if in case you have arrived earlier.

It was pleasant and nice stay. Staff is cooperative and services are quick. Food here is good. I would recommend you to consider for your stay.

Good place, good service just wished that the restaurant had options to serve dinner when we were there. However, not their fault as their cook was on leave.

Excellent service, cordial staff. Deluxe room was not available as per booking hence accomodated in suite room.
Had a comfortable stay with family for 4 days. Quality maintained consistently on all days.
Great location as well, nearby to all kinds of stores and shops and restaurants.

I had a really nice stay at The Bouvice, Mr. Sarabjit and Mr. Bharat made sure that I have a really comfortable stay, the helpers were also very sweet and helpful and the food they make at their kitchen is also really tasty!

Loved my stay. I felt very safe and the very very positive vibes of the place just won me over. Staff was polite and always ready to solve any issue which came up. Food is good and this place in centrally located to so many buzzing places that didnt feel out of home even for a moment.

Had a long stay for nearly 3 months and its a long enough period to know the place in and out. The place is run by very polite owner and along with him is Bharat, who keeps the place up and tidy ensuring a peaceful stay for guests.

Would surely like to mention that this place is certainly blessed coz so many of my pending works got positive endings that i felt never to leave this abode. God Bless and would surely be back!

Had a good stay at The Bouvice, the suit room was clean good and well maintained, the room ambience was good, polite and good friendly staff. Overall a good stay!

Nice hotel, compact room. Booked via Brevistay for short stay. Check in could have been easy, was asked to wait for 15-20 mins once as room was not ready. Otherwise no issues.
The prices have increased a lot recently, else would have booked again.

Great place to check in if you want 3hr, 6hrs customized stay based on your day visit.
Staff was polite and gentle and took care of my ID card until i got it back from them which I forgot during my checkin.

The room had a very pungent smell through our the stay and the alternative room offered was relatively smaller than what was booked. Overall it wasn't a very pleasant stay as the bed and blankets were also not up to the mark and there were no hot water or utensils as it was part of the amenities. Apart from the location benefit there was nothing much appreciable about the stay.

Good Maintenance, Nice ambience. Good place for family to stay. Good food as well. Worth staying here.

That was really good stay there and the ambience was really amazing.it was a silent place with not much disturbances around and the a superb friendly service. Totally I can say it was budget friendly for a short stay.

The rooms were seriously dirty. The AC is webbed. The bed sheets are brown when they should be white. And the bathroom has algae. I don't know how they got good reviews. It was a nightmare. The host's hospitality only goes to a certain extent. Absolute worst experience. Never going there.

EDIT: The replies of owner says I was shown my room. I was NOT. I was not informed of anything. They lie about the refund too.

One of the best stays i have been to in Bangalore. Barath is really sweet and helped us in all ways possible.

One thing that i liked was their eagerness to provide service to us. This attitude was so positive, kudos to managament who has such a motivated staff. Overall a nice experience to stay.

This is a B&B hotel model with all the practical and useful amenities that you crave for in your room. Hygenic and a secured and comfortable place.

Had a very pleasurable stay and would definitely drop by again.

Dont miss out on the sumptuous food that they serve. Its delicious and i craved for more & more.

I have stayed here for more than a month, the staff is very polite and helpul.
There is a Resturant on the top floor and a nursery on the ground floor.
You can take a room with common kitchen or a bigger room with kitchen inside.
If you are staying for a longer period, the staff can provide you with kitchen utensils, stove and cylinder for cooking.
All the facilities are provide in this hotel, also the price per room is very reasonable for longer stays.

Nicely maintained hotel for 1 or 2 days stay. Both SC and Non AC room with balcony are available. There is no dedicated parking spot available for this facility, however vehicles can be parked on road

I recently savoured the meals from here.its awesome! Everything tasted so good and especially the kadhi and very soft chapatis. Non veg items a must try! Request Bouvice management to pass on special thanks to the cook.

It is one of the best service apartment you can ever have. Room size is spacious, it has bed, sofa, mini kitchen. I stayed here for almost 2-3 months. Staff is very friendly. Highly recommended if you are looking for temporary accommodation. I thought I will find a house for me in 15 days, but I really like the place and I stayed for almost 2-3 months.

The owner and staff were super responsive to my needs and requests. The room is quiet and cosy and in an excellent location.

Not that much worth for your money coz room size was small. Food and service was nice especially non veg.

It's a corporate service apartment kind of hotel. Room cleanliness is okay and washroom cleanliness to be improved. Customer service / response is extremely good.

Had a great time as i crave for homely food while travelling and thats exactly what i got. The place is Safe n Secure and has Clean Rooms to offer to guests.

Great Staff Attitude and Excellent Hospitality. They personally keep asking for any sort of issues that we face and look to resolve them and give me solution.now thats what i call having a ear for customer's wants.

Dear all, though there were issues in the beginning the hotel staff very promptly resolved it. I was given with spacious, neat room. The 4 stars are for the super responsive staff and management. They are very pleasant to talk to and very supportive. The team takes care of the guests very well. The hotel is situated at a central place. I initially had booked only for 2 days, however extended my stay for 3 more days. In the entire one week the hotel staff took care of my needs very well. I would have given 5 stars only if the taste of the food was lil better. I understand that this varies from person to person, but still. I hope the chef improves the taste. I must say that the tea was good. I will recommend this hotel if you are looking for a hassle free stay. I would come back too.

Very happy with service and maintenance.the rooms were pretty neat and tidy.the restaurant inside was also pretty decent. 2 car parking available outside gate.as such worth the money.

Awesum Place! Spacious rooms with a clean washroom.these days we have got the habit of seeing small tiny rooms, but for a pleasant change and much to my delight.the rooms were spacious and my stay of 3 months didnt go wasted scoting for other places.

Liked their hospitality and their eagerness to serve the guests. Not a big hole in your pockets and yet world class services. Love u guys!

Loved my stay at this place.thank you Bosch for putting me here.i stayed for nearly 6 months and i can vouch for their service and safety and the caring attitude towards their guests.i am leaving with very beautiful memories of this hotel. They celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi, their anniversary, Diwali and even we were made to be a part of their celebrations.

We were also given the provision to actually cook in the room itself as there are kitchenette attached in the rooms. Very Very thoughtful og the management to make it so convenient for their guests.

Caution: One word of caution though.dont come under the hangups of a fancy hotel.this is more of a bed n breakfast hotel with all the practical and useful amenities that you crave for in your room. Nest, hygenic and a secured and comfortable place this is.so if have a thing for contemporary living style, pick a commercial hotel.this place is all about being simple and enjoying home made delicious food:)

My room was clean and to my surprise some compliments were kept in the room before my arrival.i was swayed there only.

The staff is very helpful and is always ready to listen to your issues and try they best to resolve them.

Rooms are BIG and clean. Location is a plus point as walking just for 5 mins you alight amongst the malls, restaurants, pubs etc.

Overall its a good buy for the price that we paid.

Loved my stay at Bouvice. Helpful staff, homely food, neat and clean rooms. This hotel is centrally located to a lot of restaurants, pubs, shops, malls. Did face couple of issues but the staff was caring enough to resolve my issues and thats what i like in a hotel staff when they are ready to accept their shortcomings and are prepared to give alternatives. Will surely come again to stay here!

Nice friendly staff with good care of hygiene and safety. Thank you Bharat the manager there to make my stay such a pleasant one. Was travelling with my wife and my 2 year old kid. Literally everything was done to ensure my kids utmost safety and cleanliness.stayed for 2 months and not returning back to US, but surely Bharat you ensured that stay in Bouvice is a memory which I shall always carry with me.you guys are good and keep doing your job.deducting one star for the over crowded bangalore.he he!

Beautiful place to stay even if you are travelling single. I was here in the month of jan to march from Accenture and I can vouch for this place service. Loved their service, they make you feel like you are not away from your home.they are so caring people.
Food was a let down as because they have very restricted menu and they should definitely try to include more items into the same.

But overall I loved this place. Huge Rooms, hygienic and clean, safe and secured.a special mention to Mrs. Shanti, who used to went out of her way to get things organised for us.
