The courtyard is beautiful from the inside, it is exactly like the picture put below.
If you are one who loves to relax with friends or family in a fancy ambience, this place is so for you. Very peaceful and soothing ambience, the lighting here is just right, and the grassy texture of the ground is calming.
Dishes are well made and yummy, must try anything in chicken, which is cooked to perfect tenderness. They offer wine too. The way of presenting the dish is simple and elegant. And the service is quite polite.

One may find it a little over the top with the cost, if you are someone who thinks twice about the bill, but everything has genuine price to it.

We were in the area and was looking for a cafe for sit out. This seemed like the perfect place for the that. Its a cozy cafe with a nice courtyard where some group activity was ongoing. Loved the overall vibe of the place.

Very small place that houses a restaurant (Eat Naru) and other hosted events. There are other restaurants, but they aren't worth a visit. Very constrained for space.

Exceptional hot chocolate!

Ambiance is a surprise. It’s a great respite from the annoying traffic.

My personal experience about this place is not good at all, after having checked online reviews and making reservation, I was too disappointed as online reviews are too over rated!
The cafe ends as you enter and the hospitality is nil.
I didn't feel welcomed to explore the place and they had lot of confusion among themselves as they had a private party going and so they had zero interest in serving the walk in customers, in that case why have it open for walk ins? They might as well close that section. At the end of the day I'm paying for it and I would expect some decent hospitality and food.needlessly to say that it's pricey and not worth what they serve. The place is poorly maintained and there's nothing much to speak about the menu as they that few items to offer, whatever we asked they said not available and they failed to serve even simple coffee and garlic bread better!
Too disappointed to have visited "The Courtyard", this shouldn't be ones last option too!

Pathetic food and service
The standards of the place have hit a rock bottom in recent times. We had lunch about 2 weeks back and we have all had stomach upset after that. The waiter is very reluctant to take orders and keeps repeating "it will take time, at least 15 to 20 mins so you have to wait" after each order from starters to dessert. C'mon everybody knows that standard waiting time is 15 to 20 mins for any food order. We felt an acidic tinge when we consumed the food. We all had severe stomach bloating and stomach upset by evening and had to visit the doctor. Cherry on cake is the car came back with scratches on one side of the car, when the valet service was asked about the same, they said 'we had parked it in one of the side roads, so we don't know what happened". Please visit the restaurant if you don't mind a visit to the gastroenterologist and car service station soon after.

There are several events held her regularly. We visited for a screening of Call Me By Your Name. The bistro is very cute.

Ambience was great and the service as well.

Ate a pizza which was class and the cold coffee was wonderful. Would definitely recommend.

I was part of an entrepreneurship event at this place. The place looks amazing and they have very good service! It's a wonderful place to hangout and eat. Would love to visit again

We were there to attend their brunch special. 999 for brunch per person with options to select one salad, one drink, one starter and one main course and dessert.
I feel there are so many better places serving better or unlimited options on brunch at lesser prices.

*Ambience*
Ambience is airy but little unorganised. Music is not at all soothing and doesnt match to their theme. Open air and limited seatings. Pet and kid friendly options available.

*Brunch*

Coming to beverages, very limited options out of sangria/juice/coffee that too limited to one. I ordered sangria and I think it was the most diluted and unappetising drink ever.

In salads, tried the Courtyard Chicken Salad which had bits of chicken with dressing along with some kale and salad leafs. The salad had a weird after taste.

In appetizers, tried the Cheese Stuffed Mushroom which was actually quite good. Juicy and good portion.

In main course, I ordered the Skillet Chicken which was supposed to be barbequed chicken with sides and mash. The mash and veggies were actually good but the chicken was burnt and dry.

In dessert, I tried the orange zesty cake which is a dry cake with orange zest additiom while baking. Good but not fancy.

My peers tried many different things in options available but none of them was happy with food esp risotto and white sauce pasta.
The pizza was delicious though.

Love and adore the guys who run the place. Had been there for Women Entrepreneurs Market for Dopolgy. The space is refreshing and a hub for meetups, art shows and just yourself.

Pizza was really good. Pasta was perfectly french style, drinks were good as well. Will totally give you the feels of an European cafe. Worth a visit. Wouldn't be hard on pocket.

Aesthetic and beautiful. The food is pretty enjoyable as well. A decent cafe to spend your afternoons lazing about.

Pleasent place to visit. I liked the food items and service was very courteous. Good place to hang out and spend some time. Will recommend a visit definitely. Food was yummy.

I went here for an art fest. The place is decently spacious for all artists to display their paintings and banners, nice decor (mainly because of the colorful decor done for the art fest),
Now few points for everyone who go there for the 1st time.
1. No 4 wheeler parking. You have to take one of the lefts ahead and park your car
2. Around 6 to 8 2 wheelers can be parked right in front of the gate
3. It has a cafe. The food sucks and expensive (paid about 200 bucks for a bunch of french fries which came in a idli pan literally) but again food isn't the reason you go here.
4. They have a hall where some play was going on.it's quite interesting

Overall except for the parking difficulty this place hives you a very good vibe and an artistic feeling.do attend some events happening here.cheers

Courtyard-the Name holds good for our old homes when we were kids to the space In front of the home.

Typically built on this concept with synthetic wool spread on the floor, indoor games like UNO, HOUSIE, Carrom and good old music-a perfect place for a lazy Sunday brunch.

The ambience is no relaxed and peaceful. A friendly dog also was running around and small kids were having a great time here.

The Sunday Brunch is Priced at Rs 999/- plus taxes.

The menu covers a exhaustive list of options to choose from.

The Service was tardy with the Servers being lost on what they serve, what order was placed and until reminding them twice or thrice- the order never came. A bit of soft skill training for the staff would actually help. Not motivated and are so lost for the small crowd of say 15-20 pax at a time.

The Chef on priority has to be changed here with his limited culinary skill set and survival on such not-so-great food will not help this beautiful place nor get repeat patrons.

The Menu tried-

1. Cheese Stuffed Mushrooms-undercooked
2. The Courtyard Chicken Salad- perhaps one of the best have tried of late
3. Shredded Lamb in Pita- Good
4. Pizza-Smoked Chicken -One of the most edible dish on the table.
5. Pasta Alfredo-Please avoid. A shame.
6. Risotto-best not spoken

Dessert

1. Fresh Zesty Orange Cake- My personal favourite here.

1. Water Melon Juice- Nice and refreshing

Toilets-you start remembering your school toilets with the usual stink.

Valet Parking Available-however 3 cars only can be parked in front of restaurant and after that you have to pay and park at a parking lot somewhere near their restaurant.

Strongly feel in a nutshell, this amazing gem of a place needs a better chef on war footing basis, bit of a improvement on Service (attitude adjustment of Servers) but definitely has a lot of potential.

Great place. There is a cafe downstairs with good ambience. I went there to attend Kommune poetry open mic, so this place also has space for hosting events.

Small cafeteria, with a lawn on the backside of it, which can acxommdate near to 20 people, prefect for small gathering, menu options are bit on the higher side. Good to try few times

Good food and drinks (mocktails and wine only). The place has a really nice vibe to it. A refreshing change to a cafe in the heart of double road, Shantinagar. The only drawback I experienced would be the lack of parking space - there's enough to park 2-3 cars only.

Ambience is all I can talk off for now regarding this place as I didn't eat much on this occasion. It's one of those unassuming spaces nestled between your regular looking buildings I THINK on a busy Bangalore main road. You walk in and these retro looking bulbs suspended from the ceiling greet you. The seating space is quite cosy with comfortable chairs and real plants thrown in, however, the mock-up of a lawn using plastic sheets was a serious letdown for me on the other part of the property. The trees here! Now that's one thing I might go back to this place for. They have retained a lot of pre-existing (I think) trees and that chills the place down greatly.

THE COURTYARD. An upmarket nicely designed cafeteria in the not so fancy Sudhamanagar area.you can't make out that a place like this exists right outside the chaotic Shantinagar bus depot. Sudhamanagar doesn't quite qualify to be one of the best areas of bAngalore largely because of the gutter that flows through and it's a semi industrial area with printing units.

One can't always go to MTR for a discussion. Specially if u have work on ur laptop too. This places gives you that welcome break. The interiors are done keeping in mind how the area looks like. It transports you to a different world altogether with artistic colors and Thomas Alva Edison bulbs hanging right at the entrance.

There are trees inside that gives u good feel and they have carpeted the entire floor with plastic grass that may make u feel nice. The cafeteria offers nice shakes n short eats. You could sit n do your work on laptop peacefully. While some can do their photo shoots too. It's got a hall where you can do your video shoots, jams and rehearsals too.

Lotsa workshops keep happening and there is Central Area where gigs are staged. Parking is an issue. After 3 cars it's houseful. Thank God the access is from KH road which makes up for a nice postal address.

Great place and a wonderful ambience. Wish there was more on the menu to choose from, especially for vegetarians. But the food is great!

The Courtyard has wonderful events if you're ever looking for something to do and a cafe that serves wine and snacks in case soaking in all the culture makes you hungry.
The pesto sandwich was great and so were th pizzas and cold coffee.

The location is fabulous, easily accessible with limited parking. The staff are courteous and the food is good. It's great to work at and has a friendly cat as well if you're taking a break while you work here. The hummus and Oreo shake are must haves

The green carpet you're seeing is not grass. It's carpet. Overall, ambience is good but menu is limited.

Amazing place, old rustic feeling of the place and the restaurant. Went here for the Bangalore Indie Comix Fest. Had a great time, a coffee, pizza and pasta. Great food too!

Food, service, ambiance very good & pure veg. I enjoyed the Chow chow bhaat, a combo of Khara and sweet. Valet parking available also.
