One of the best eye hospital in Bengaluru. I took my father for cataract. They have a very sophisticated system of doing the consultation and surgery procedures. Dr. Rakesh one of the senior eye surgeon did my father's cataract surgery. I definitely suggest to go here for any kind eye related issues.

In particular Mr. Shiva is great at explaining the surgery procedure and the salient features of the lens for the implant.

Eye foundation Speciality Hospital Bellandur is one of the well-known eye hospital in Bangalore offering best expertise and services. This is a great place to go to take care of your eyes. The front desk staff makes you feel right at home immediately when you walk in the door. Everything was on time and it was an extremely professionally run office. Dr. Srinivas was very professional in examining and providing with right solutions by priority. I had to undergo cataract surgery for both my eyes. Dr. Srinivas took special interest to do some research prior to advising me as to which type of lens I should be going for. My sincere appreciation to Dr. Srinivas for his dedication and commitment to his profession Dr. Srinivas Rao and his team did a great job and I felt that I was in good hands. All the staff there were very polite and kind to me. They explained very well the process of insurance claim and it was done seamlessly. Looks most of the reviews are created, honestly it's ok hospital but they don't give you proof of the lens they use for cataract surgeries and rest is ok
Following recommendation of a close relative, I had cateract surgery in my right eye last week at the Eye Foundation, which went extremely smoothly. Dr Srinivasa Rao performed the surgery. All the preliminary tests and counselling were simple and straight forward, with no confusing information on which the patient had to make decisions, unlike in the case of some other eyeclinics I went to. The waiting period was minimal. Staff was very courteous and guided me from one step to another. I felt so comfortable with the experience and results of the surgery that I scheduled surgery of the other eye for this week, although I have to commute to Belandur from Bidadi which is almost two hours drive. Do I need to say more? Thanks to the Eye Foundation, Dr Srinivasa Rao and all staff.

My power got increased from -2.5 to around -5 and I decided to get the LASIK done. While research over web I found eye foundation and decided to visit for eye health check and to understand the process. Shivashankar has helped understanding how it works in detail about procedure and post procedure stuff Doctor Srinivas has suggested to go for Femto contura (one of the latest lasik procedure) and this recommendation was based on my cornea health. I am so thankful to doctor Srinivas and his team for hassle free process. The hospital has latest technology equipped machines and trained professional. Hygienic and very well organized rooms and OT. It started with the ease and convenience of booking an appointment online thereby avoiding the hassle of long queues. The optometrists were extremely professional and the cutting edge technology enables instant diagnosis. It is absolute seamless and the reports get networked into the system that makes the whole process faster. The Doctor whom we consulted was Dr Mohammed Shahbaz, who has immense experience and an expert in cataract surgeries. He guided us on the course of action and the surgery was done with utmost care and precaution where in he adroitly managed the Laser technology. He ensured that the patient was put to ease with no anxiety whatsoever. A special word of gratitude to the counsellor Mr. Shivashankara who took us through the options available and the pros and cons of each type and category of lens that could be implanted. Worst management: Doctor I have approached not operated my LASIK, even i got to in that OP.and it was a bad experience one eye operated properly and other eye did not. Again I had to wait for 3 months for the other eye to get operated, with all the extra expenses I had to bear. Even after LASIK, I still see my one eye blur not operated properly.
And the worst part management did not took responsibility. They say even if you have sight after LASIK you can continue using glasses. They don't take responsibility. Better don't visit
Had my lasik surgery (femto contoura) done here. Went very smoothly. The doctors and staff here are extremely helpful, answer all queries and make sure you don't have to wait much for tests, consultation or the surgery itself. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for lasik treatment.

Have been waiting for over 45 minutes with an insect sting eye, no doctor in place, even staff doesn't know where the doctors are. Was taken to first floor after an optometrist examination and then brought back down because there was no doctor. Am stuck here because I have paid the upfront registration fee. Could have gone to some other hospital and been treated by now

They will inform you each and every steps in detail also you can contact them anytime even when you go back to your home, if you have further queries. The staff who assisted me were really helpful. The eye foundation is located in the perfect place right next to the bellandur stop which is walkable. And the parking facilities are also good. Dr.sean was good and he understands things and explains the things properly. But the overall experience not that excellent since I feel it's over charged and booking appointment doesn't make sense since they take their own sweet time to finish up the test. And i was concerned with too much of conservative approach in asking the patient's to take the scan. Which can be avoided. The overall rating can improve based on the subsequent things and this rating is based out of my experience now.
Fraud hospital, tried to cheat us. Went for simple pain in the eye, they told in another eye has Keratoconus and immediate surgery is required. The lady counselor inquired about our insurance status was trying to threaten us by saying immediate surgery is required otherwise you will go blind. Luckily, I don't fall in such trap and went to akshara eye hospital, they told is just infection and no surgery is required. There is Keratoconus, but mild and will wait and see only if it become worse will plan for surgery. After one year got the test done again, as per the result there is no deterioration and the doctor then told no surgery is required.
-REPLY TO HOSPITAL- As per other doctors only progressive Keratoconus needs to be treated, and the patient age is 36 years and there is no progressive Keratoconus. How does your doctor in just 1 test decided its progressive and immediate surgery is required. No doctor in the whole world would tell such thing that admit tomorrow for surgery or it would lead to permanent blindness. Also as mentioned we had done another test after 1 year also, and there was no deterioration, and based on report, current status and age, finally other hospital came to the conclusion that no surgery or medical intervention is required.
My mother recently underwent cataract surgery of both her eyes under the supervision of Dr Sean. We are really happy with his professionalism and the services provided by other doctors and nurses of the hospital. Dr Sean was patient enough to listen to our queries and explained everything to us thoroughly. She is recovering fast now. My mother also had a retinal surgery done last year, since she had a very wide macular hole on her right eye. Dr Adarsh Naik performed the surgery with precision and utmost care. He has been successful in filling up the macular hole as much as possible through the surgery. I would recommend Eye Foundation hospital for any kind of eye related treatment that you may require.
