The Fern Residency, Hubballi

Me n my family have always been a fan of hotels managed by the fern group but this one was a disaster. It did not match the fern standards. Not at all happy with anything here. The washroom doors were broken also the room and the surroundings stinked.

Business Hotel, previously Clark’s Inn. Parking would be challenging on later time of the day. Average ambience, with hygiene maintained. Food is good, had buffet and tasted good but felt overpriced. Courteous staff, very near to new ksrtc bus stand and airport.

We stayed here on 09/05/2023. We booked 6 rooms for 14 family members. Hotel is good with nice ambience and neat and well maintained rooms. Staff is polite and service is very good. Staff is very professional and prompt in service.
We had booked extra beds. Rooms were ready with extra beds at the time of check in.
Food is tasty and restaurant’s staff is helpful.
Overall nice stay. Everyone enjoyed stay at Fern hotel Hubali.

A clean decent place, compact rooms, limited toiletries the housekeeping staff tried their best to provide though,

Worst experience ever. I thot of the brand n checked in but its that local service n worst ambience no dinning hall no proper rooms nor services waste of time n money.

Proximity and location at center of old hubli is the advantage, proximity to airport is another advantage
Services are good during day time, but one has to wait significantly, if u arrive at night time. Waiting lounge has mosquito issues at night.
Water /Tea/cofee for waiting guests will be a welcome change.

Loved the ambience, Complementary Breakfast and the stay

Overall satisfied and the location is easily accessible from the bus stand/railway station with frequent connectivity of Auto/Cabs

Everything was good but they told us that shed parking is here.but they parked our car in open space.lot of dust, mosquito and heat.

Stayed yesterday night; good ambience, location and absolutely great breakfast spread; only drawback is inadequate water within the washroom for bathing and early morning activities hotel needs to take note of this inadequacy…

Tariff is high for room but facilities and maitainace is not good and food price is too high but taste is not good. Car parking and rest room for drivers is not at all good.

Rooms were renovated but the feel is not new. Smelly / dusty air conditioning - you can feel your throat is itchy after spending few hours at room. The breakfast spread is decent but to get a seating table is difficult as the hotel is full of corporate staff guests.

You have a decent car parking facility. Customer service attitude is missing. The in room service is okish with not great food taste.

Ok for short stays for a day or two.

Passable stay if you are not too fussy.check in and check out was smooth.needs some maintainence.room service was slow.

I used to stay there when it was operated by The Clarks management. Now under Fern management it's in shambles, no maintenance, toilets very dirty.

The reception never picks the calls tried couple of times. Management should make note of the above.

The hotel is located on Gokul Road, which is not bad. But the surroundings are not that great with no restaurants in the vicinity. The staff are generally good but the hotel itself is not good and not well maintained. It does not meet the 4 star category in any way. The WiFI never worked and even after multiple reminders the hotel failed to help with a dongle as most rooms do not have wifi coverage. There are many permanent marks in the bathroom and most areas of the suite. Would not expect such a lousy maintenance with no wifi and breakfast area was not well maintained and with most items not topped up throughout. Not worth staying here.

Peope trying to work from hotel please avoid, there is no connectivity in most rooms and where there is the WiFi speed is terrible.

The Fern Residency is an great value for money business hotel.

I had a very comfortable stay enroute from Bangalore to Pune. I was able to get the rest I needed and was also able to work comfortably from the hotel room.

Had one night stay and the manager Mr. Saket was extremely helpful and ensured entire family was comfortable. However what I felt lil out of phase is the behaviour of staff in the restaurant during breakfast. Seems like they were hiding and not available for any ask. We had a guest in the morning and one staff at restaurant embarrassed us infront of the guest asking " did he have anything". In case had or not he would have billed extra instead of embarrassing us

Room maintenance not great - for instance bathroom had a lot of permanent marks and there were holes in the sheets on the bed. The door lock kept playing up and needed to reset swipe card everyday. On a positive note staff were extremely gracious and helpful - top level service overall

Very nice hotel at Hubbali. Good for family and business. Breakfast and food was very good. Close to the airport.

Awesome breakfast. Rest of the food is good, but relatively a bit pricey. Hotel rooms are fairly good. A bit older facility. Staff is well mannered.
Central Air conditioning is quite good. Location is convenient.
Parking is very limited and the slots are very narrow. Mine is a relatively bigger vehicle and it’s hard to get in and out of the vehicle once parked. Otherwise you’ve to park on the road side; no basement parking.
I booked for three adults and they charged me extra for the third person. When I asked for the bed they told me they have a floor bed. Basically you’ve to sleep on the floor. They don’t have a room that can accommodate 3 adults.
On first floor they’ve a pub. If some party is going on, you can hear it from everywhere.
Otherwise this is a good place.

Worst experience. Having stayed at fern manali, goa, amritsar had high expectations from hubli. But it wasn't upto the mark. Bathrooms were not clean, staff was rude and non cooperative.

Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Clean toilets. Good complimentary breakfast. Limited parking space. Overall good experience.

Location was very convenient, close by to domestic airport, They allowed us early check-in, staff was very helpful. The ambiance was spectacular, There were a lot of plants and trees inside the hotel, It really looked beautiful at night. Breakfast and dinner have lot of variety, Excellent food. Menu is extensive and seasonal to a particularly high standard. Definitely fine dining.
Checkout process is very quick Friendly staff quick resolution to problems overall excellent.a very friendly house keeping executive.overall an excellent experience a family visit here will not leave you disappointed.

Since I went Hubli for my treatment, I had to stay for a day. But the receptionist lady said she cannot give room for unmarried couple. What if I book the room from some online platform, would you deny the booking by telling you cannot give room for unmarried couple?

The hotel is very clean The rooms r good they maintain the hygiene system good food they also serve buffet breakfast in morning The staff is very polite helpful and excellent service, there is plenty of parking available here

Visited for a night stay while in transit on long drive.
