The food is great without onion and garlic as the restaurant located inside the temple premises. The ambience is okay and you can also hear hari naam and krishna music during your visit.

A satvic hotel situated within ISKCON premises. Located behind the temple and difficult to find parking on holidays due to temple crowd. Buffet is good with a wide spread and priced Rs 825/-. Starters, Vegetable curries and dessert is good. Only tandoori and makki rotti were served. Broccoli biriyani was average. Roti and rice items can be improved. Located in a central place near Mahalakshmi metro station. Good for family outings.

This buffet place is good for vegetarians but not the best in Bengaluru. It's also expensive in terms of buffet. Mon to Thur costs at Rs. 725/- and higher from Fri to Sun.
Most of the items were bland as it's sattvik food. Mahalakshmi metro station is the closet for travel.

Nice quiet place to eat pure veg food in the same complex as the ISKON temple. I could only try the buffet as we went on a Sunday.

Well, one of the few good vegetarian buffet, sorry, sattvic cuisines in Bangalore. I have been a regular visitor here before pandemic.was really missing the food.the spread across starters, vegetables, breads, desserts really good and tasty too.kids would love the pasta or the noodles alongside.a must visit for those who look for good vegetarian spread.missed out to indicate that these foods don't contain onions or garlic in their preparation.yet, taste so good.just can't make out.one would wonder! I liked the ambience too.very clean.certainly recommend.you would like it.

Good food & good hospitality. Yesterday night they served buffet. When we asked for food without ghee/butter from a-la-cartè they graciously accepted to prepare it for us. Thanks team higher taste.

You must be really really high if you have to like this food.

The buffet was 750 Rupees with food so bad that I couldn't even wrap my head around the whole experience. Two starters that were deep fried some 10 years ago, main course dishes that were amateur at best (my cousin who is 12 years old cooks better) with a sweet section that left a sour taste in my mouth.

IT IS NOT WORTH THE MONEY GUYS. Better buffets are there across bangalore for literally half the price.

Absolute waste of money, they was no sign of hospitality - I visited the place with high expectation on 7th Oct evening with entire family and it turned to be a disaster, restaurant had got hardly few tables occupied still the staff were not able to attend to the customers, we had to call them minimum 5 times to even take the order or even to fill the water.with such high menu cost the expectation would be at a different level which dose not even match a roadside resturant, even the food was not to the expectation the kulchas were half baked and Pizza was the same.most of the menu items were not available we had take what they told was available.not sure how is it with others but I would truly never recommend to anybody

Make sure to skip the previous meal if you're visiting here for a buffet. Many varieties for food.
Unlimited starters main course and desserts for around 700-750 per head. Great variety of food as well. Very peaceful crowd.

One of the popular sattvic vegetarian restaurants in Bangalore. It's located inside the ISKCON temple. They have a vet wide variety of food. Since the food is very mild and bland, it might not be to everyone's liking.

Buffet was average. Price on the higher side. Visit only for the sake of it being Satvik food ie.without onion/garlic or for a one time experience. Otherwise can be skipped all together.

Food is not so good, we had buffet lunch Refilling is so weak not served hot, not having more variety options in deserts etc, and roti getting is too late. Embarrassing

This restaurant serves pretty good sattvic vegetarian food. The buffet lunch had a variety of dishes. (mentioning few of them)
Starters: Palak soup, Dahi vada, boondi raita, Pazham pori (banana fritters), French fries, Paneer Tikka, pasta, salad, etc.
Main course: Dal, Makkai Palak, roti, Naan, Paneer sabzi, schezwan noodles, pasta, rice items, etc.
Desserts: walnut halwa, Chocolate pastry, plum cake, vanilla and strawberry ice creams.
Watermelon and muskmelon in fruits
The quality is also maintained very well, had a nice experience. As of now, buffet is only on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Check out the pics

Amazing vegetarian food jains and pure vegetarians should try the weekend buffet best in the city after paakashala this place is best of its kind but its very expensive. I tasted almost everything in buffet except ice cream and papad its was tasty and yummy they had some delicious dishes in the menu cream of broccoli soup, noodles and pasta was too good

This is a place for saatvic food (no onion & garlic). Personally I was disappointed with the food. Sattvam (all 3 branches) sets a much higher bar on this kind of food and service

One of the elite vegetarian dine in restaurants of the city. On an expensive side. Maintaining all the covid-19 related norms.
We tried Lucknowi chat which was good. Varki paratha, tandoori roti and mixed vegetable kadai was also reasonably ok.
There seem to be some shortage of staff because the service was slow.

It all started with reading reviews of this restaurant & it took one year to visiit the place due to lockdown.

Last Monday has i started for lunch had this doubt back of my mind, is it really worth going to the other end of the city for a meal based on reviews.
Then as i entered the place, it was so warm & welcoming with a soothing ambience, background music of Krishna's love flowing.

As I started dining realized it was one of the finest choice have made realted to food, hygenic taste rich serving filled with love with a specific interesting menu.

We ordered pizza, bakri roti, roti, papadi chaat, afgani biryani, paneer tandoori, kofta, tender coconut pasasam, icecream and was not ready to stop it was like total indulging in food, wherein the staff was kind enough to suggest it may get too much so can check and order.
The dishes were so yummy especially the tender coconut pasasam literally put us into food trance, even the paneer quality, papadi chaat is awesome.
Would have preferred softer koftas but then everything was so amazing looking for more perfection would have been unfair on our part
Price range was also worth the quality of dishes prepared with pure ghee & the portion served.

Me & family enjoyed, the icing was the service part, Mr Naveen G Manager checking on guests & Mr. Rakesh who served our table & the other couldn't ask the name were amazing.
Thank you so much all of you, including the chefs for making our dining so memorable & lovable.
So my experience with this place has been awesome making me write a big review from heart and recommend to my friends who are looking for a place of quality food prepared with trust & love, Which makes us feel lighter even after eating.
Looking forward to visit again.

Not much dishes when compared to other buffet place it's disappointing us when we have buffeet last night too expensive for what they offer for Rs 800 no chats counter and little desert not worth

The place is really amazing, well maintained with hygiene. The food was real treat, warki paratha, sev papdi, elaneer payasam, are the most recommend food from me. The team of higher taste are very friendly and Mr. Rakesh suggested better to choose from menu. GM of restaurant ensured visiting table and took feedback and also responded very well appreciate it. Suggest this place for family and friends. Currently Buffet is only on weekends definitely will visit for that.

We went here on 9th July '21 for lunch as a part of our anniversary celebration. We ordered nellekai soup, panner broccoli, banana flower kolumbu, rice & gulab jamun rabdi. After having the food both of us & our 9 year old daughter had loose motions. I had very bad abdominal spasms in the evening with loose motions. This is a case of food contamination. This restaurant get respect only because its a part of a temple complex. But what we experienced was really bad.

Best in taste, hygiene and healthy food.
Ambience is too good. Customer friendly & focussed staff always present to serve to the guests needs.
No compromise on taste, in fact the best ones though onions & garlic weren’t used.
Moreover, next to abode of Lord Krishna, what more can a person ask for? Beautiful location at the heart of Bengaluru

We went to this restaurant. After serene darshan of Iskon temple. Buffet has good spread of different variety of food like South, North, Italian & Chinese. From dahi vada, papdi chat to pasta, noodles, biryani and on n on.dessert also had good spread.taste and quality of food is good.

Super taste, fully vegetarian, Lavish spread and served with lots of divine love- The higher taste is the amalgamation of all this mixed together.

Must visit for all vegetarians, a great family eating place; where you are fed under the blessings of the lord.

Expect mango rasgulla nothing is that great. Overprice, too costly. I went there after seeing food lovers video in YouTube but trust it’s overpriced and taste is average. I would tell it’s not worth for price or the taste. Instead you can try other hotel in iskcon. People are attracted for its vegetarian dishes but it’s not worth it.

We had the lunch buffet at the Higher Taste: it’s all veg satvika food - no onion no garlic. Surprisingly there was a great selection available. Although the food was a bit spicy, it was good. Worth the price. Located right inside ISKCON premises.

Never imagined that saatvik food could be so very tasty! The portions were absolutely enormous. We were three and ordered just one roti each and two curries and had to take back a lot of food. It was superbly yummy and they have a great selection as well. Will not lie, it is a tad on the more expensive side but definitely worth the spend.

As the name goes by, the restaurant serves quality food meeting superlative degree. There are both buffet and a la carte menus at ground floor & first floor respectively. Restaurant serves only vegetarian, sattvic food without use of onion & garlic. Lot of varieties both Indian & Continental. Good ambience too. Items & buffet priced high but one can think that you are contributing to the temple which in turn is doing so much to the society including serving food to hundreds of thousands of poor school children every day through their Akshaya Patra Foundation.

We had the buffet dinner and very item on the buffet was fantastic. They have a cake and bake special from Xmas thru new year.

And the best part of it all, I'm told that the proceeds of this restaurant are used for charity.

Nice Satvik food. Some of them very tasty and some average. Desserts were good especially lauki halwa and pineapple ice cream.

One of the best veg restaurants of Bangalore. Very neat and clean. Excellent ambience. Located inside ISKCON temple complex. Large parking space. Good connectivity by metro and BMTC public transport. Large number of tasty food items. This restaurant does not use garlic and onions for any food items. But the taste is excellent. One can have darshan of Lord Krishna in the temple and then go for food in this restaurant.

This hotel is in iskon campus, the quality of food served here is really nice and ambience is also great. Veg buffet is costing around 800 per person. Ala carte for two people will be around 2000 rupees. This place is usually crowded, better to reserve the table before going to avoid queue and wait time.

Only place where awesome and the very best satvik food without garlic is available. Do try out the chilly cheese naan which was rich in taste. In starters try the chat papdi lucknowi and the new style of masala papad roll. Peas pulao was not that great as thought. Overall the food and ambience was simply awesome.

Visited on 22 Sept 2018 - for my father’s 62nd birthday. We chose buffet (ground floor) We were the first customers that evening. Had reached at 6: 45pm (after darshan) & waited patiently for 7pm.

We sat at a table of my father’s choice (under the Krishna photo) and the soup was served at the table. We finished the soup and brought starters and started eating them.

One guy comes and asks the three of us (includes my senior citizen parents) to move to another table so that they can accommodate a larger family!

AND THEY CALL THEMSELVES A ‘FINE DINE’ RESTAURANT! (Haven’t seen or experienced such flagrant ill-treatment even at simple roadside dhabas!)

We paid 700+ each for this precious experience!

I am not writing about the food because I don’t feel the need to.

I AM NOT VISITING THIS PLACE AGAIN.

Buffet, with initial starters being served on the table.
Not a very large spread, but good variety and tasty stuff.
Adequate parking is also available. Generally crowded on weekends.
If a group is going better to book in advance.

It's located inside Iskon temple. Good food, nice staff. There are both buffet and alacarte options. Price is little high but ok.

Swadisht Uttar ka Swaad

You know we are fans of north Indian food, so it’s only natural that we headed to Higher Taste to experience its north Indian festival called Uttar ka Swaad.
Colourful buntings greeted us as we entered the place. We soaked in ambience and headed to the soup counter to sample doodh palak ka shorba. You know it’s been raining so often these days, so a warm slightly rich soup is a welcome. This was offset by a crunchy green salad. You know we quite like the curry puff; it’s somewhat buttery and flakey with vegetable filling. Aloo anar raita is so different, crunchy pomegranate, fried potatoes and thick yoghurt.
My co-diner couldn’t resist the pani puris or puchkas, which are spicy, sweet and tangy. Kids were feasting on the falooda counter. But then, we felt we shouldn’t stuff ourselves as an exhaustive main course awaited us.
A must try is the rich creamy kaju paneer makhani, also full marks to the Lahori Chikar Cholay. This is the first time we’ve tried it and it’s supposed to be street food in Lahore. Sometimes channa can be oily, but it wasn’t so in this case. In fact I cherished its thick consistency. All this went well with bajara or millet puris, which is healthy, digestible & is not too oily. Which is good you know, because puris tend to get soggy.
Though the festival has delicacies from north India, there are also the regular south Indian goodies like crisp masala dosas and nutrient-rich soppu sambar. Methi or fenugreek is a bit bitter, but you know the menthulu annam is so nice.
Do leave some space for dessert, especially for the Punjabi pinni. It’s textured, soft and milky. Guess the ghee and the manner in which the wheat flour is roasted makes it so delicious. My co-diner pointed out that the cardamom flavoured shrikhand is worth trying. Round off the meal with an indulgent apple phirni, which is creamy and topped off with crushed nuts.

Huge fan of ISKCON and this place has more of the same aura. Loved the simple yet tasty food. Great spread on most days.

The best tasty sattvic food at reasonable price. Excellent ambience and super assistance. The seating is very comfortable. Lot of privacy maintained that one table or the people is not seen to the people in the other table. A visit to the ISKCON temple can also be planned along with a visit to The Higher Taste. Yes, parking is also available easily.

Loved the taste of food here. Among mocktails I liked Radha ki Pasand, it was so tasty I couldnt explain. I enjoyed the food as well as ambience. Jai Krishna.

We came here for our office get-together. The buffet cost 750/- per person. Personally, I felt that the food was worth the money. More main course varieties can be added, and 5 stars is purely because of the extra points donated by a plethora of delicious desserts here. A "Should try once" place.

An amazing place to fill your stomach inside ISKCON premises. Pure vegetarian food with a wide spread that satiates your taste buds. Try the buffet, it's paisa vasool. Loved the starters and desserts.
