Lovely experience very neat and clean lovely atmosphere, very helpful staff very tasty breakfast

Owner Mr Srinivasulu himself greeted us and guide to checkin. We'll explained what to see and where to have Dinner and Lunch. Nice receiving. Very clean Rooms and nice Breakfast. Awesome and will definitely visit next time again and recommend to friends. Parking too was good. Easily accessible to Market and walkable and peaceful location. Additionally while checkout he gave us packed Lunch for all members and that was real surprise and food was tasty too

We enjoyed our stay at Holiday inn. The ambience is very pleasant and we felt like home. It is located in the city centre and is within walking distance to all restaurants. The breakfast is delicious. The property owner Srinivas sir guided us to the places to visit and provided all the support during our trip.

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Despite the fancy rooms shown in the images, the reality is far from it. The service is absolutely terrible, and it completely overshadows any positive aspects of the rooms. Don't be fooled by the pictures - this hotel is not worth your time or money. With no power backup, power cuts from 10am to 5pm, and a lack of extra towels and toiletries, it's simply not worth it. Steer clear and find another place to stay.

The room was tidy and well-maintained, situated in a convenient location with a pleasant balcony view. Adequate parking space was available outside the premises. The view from the room was delightful, and the information provided about nearby attractions was highly beneficial. The recommended restaurants for dinner also proved to be excellent choices. Zomato and Swiggy delivery services are also available to the hotel.

Hotel is very clean, and hospitality is also great!
We had booked the stay very late at night for one day but reached at ~4am in the morning. We were able to opt for early check-in based on the room availability without any issues.
We were also given itinerary for 2 days with contact details for bike/cab rent.

They also have a 2 bhk option for people travelling in a group of 4-6 people.

One of the best value for money serviced apartment. The location, apartment, food everything is very very good. Plus it is very affordable during weekdays. The apartment is very spacious and looks brand new and crystal clean. Go for it without any 2nd thought if you are looking a stay in chikamaglur town.

Great ambiance, cozy rooms. The service provided by the manager was too good. He has helped a lot and provided direction for sight seeing.

The location is accessible from IG and MG road, very nice and clean, breakfast was very tasty and behavior was also very good. But the bed was very soft, one may face problem if he or she has back pain.

Not so good experience. Stayed for 4 days recently. Suggest a oid if other options are available. Staff is kind and user friendly but zero service.

It's a full package covering all needs of a family. They have taken care of every aspect of people who visits such a great tourist spots. Our appreciation goes in full scale.

Service apartments with small and clean rooms. No food is cooked in the premises, and no room service. Very basic breakfast is provided. Helpful staff.

Keep in mind that the area is far from the peak.
Should be booked in advance, because the price will get unreasonable when booking close to travel dates, and then the hotel won’t be worth it.

Appartment is Perfect place for family. Very near to market place and you get almost everything in walkable distance. Super helpful staff and owner who ensures your stay is more than perfect. He keeps check on their staff by having your feedback as well. I highly recommend families and even couples/friends. Go for it.

I checked many properties before booking this one and it is one of the best decisions I made. Host called me few days before our arrival and given us all the information we need like sightseeing, restaurants, cab/drivers details etc which made us very comfortable. 2 BHK apartment I booked was excellent, neat and clean included Full kitchen with utensils, dining table, Sony Smart TV with nice sofas, 24/7 hot water. Complementary breakfast was tasty with many items. Overall wonderful stay and would like to thank owner Mr. Srinivasulu and his staff for making us feel like home. I will stay here for my future visits to Chikmagalur.

We have travelled from Chennai to Chikkamagluru over night and reached way earlier around 7 AM.

But our check IN time was 12 PM.
So, Srinivasan Sir gave us a separate room to get ready and fresh up which made our day to spend wisely without wasting time. We have covered all the places in Circuit 1 and Circuit 2.

He has offered yummy Breakfast throughout the stay and the Sambhar was way to GO!

We were in the hotel during Independence Day which celebrated very nicely.

Srinivas Sir is doing a fantastic job in providing hospitalality services to the booked customers.

Well maintained, easily accessible nice budget hotel to stay with family.neatly maintained and supportive staff. Quality, spread and taste of items in breakfast was good. Hotel is also close to key places in Chikmagalur.

I stayed there for a day. We had reached early in the morning. Though the check in was at 12, the owner was kind enough to let us checkin at 6 AM in the morning. We had informed a day prior about our early arrival so he ensured someone is at the reception to let us in. It was a Karnataka style breakfast. Rooms very clean and neat. Had hot water facility throughout the day though it was raining heavily full day. Staffs were very respectful and welcoming. We booked through goibibo it was showing garden view farm view and all that but there was no such views. The neighbouring is really beautiful and it was a good view (not farm or garden view). One worst part is the watchman misused the contact number. Otherwise everything else was perfect for a stay. View of mountains from balcony and neighbouring view from window was very beautiful. Toilets were clean and hygienic. I even saw some family had requested the owner to arrange for breakfast a little early as they had to leave early, and the owner arranged for it. And some family were saying they come to this hotel once in every year since last 5 years and they find it the best deal.

The Holiday Inn is a great place to stay. It is centrally located and most tourist spots are about 15-20 kms away. The Service apartment is quite and the rooms are clean, spacious and aesthetically done, perfect for a family.
The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. It has all the basic amenities that one should have during the stay. The Kitchen was equipped with steel utensils, dinning plates and drinking water etc.
There was 24/7 hot water in the bathroom.
The breakfast spread is tasty. The staff is so friendly & it feels like a home away from home.
Overall a wonderful place to stay. Every trip to Chikmagalur will be in the Holiday Inn!

Everything went well except no option of tea and coffee in the hill station. That will be good, If any cook should available in the hotel for tea and coffee.
Also all 3 days, breakfast was exactly same, It should not be same for each day.

Well maintained service apartment. Owner and the reception people are very hospitable. Photos uploaded are 100% genuine.

Well maintained and very friendly staff. Rooms are also good, however all rooms don't have air conditioner and it gets quite warm in peak summer

Ambience is good. Self service only. They are not giving second soap for double occupancy. Management is not good. Staff are quite friendly and polite. Breakfast was damn good.

This is my honest review.
Hope it will help others too.

Pros:
- Hotel location is very good. Just 5 min walk from main town and yet away from city noise where you can have views of hills, farms.
- Hotel staff is polite and welcoming. They assist you with your any queries, be it tour or place to eat or to rent bike.
- Property is newly built one and is spacious too compared to other places in town.
- Rooms are very clean loaded with all essentials like fruit cutter, coffee/tea maker etc like standard hotels.
- breakfast is delicious. They procure it from Mayura hotel daily

Cons:
- Although you'll be impressed by spotless clean room at checkin, that impression wont last long.
They dont follow daily housekeeping. I was asking them daily to clean and they used to excuse it by saying we're having much other work. They will focus on cleaning the rooms which are going to be checked in then if free will come to existing guest's room.
- Toiletries and tea/coffee refills are not updated daily. I made myself coffee on 1st day only. After that even I asked for many times they didnt fill it.
Towels were not replaced daily like standard hotel practice. Even when we wanted new towels as our towels got dirty after we used returning from outside, they were hesitant.
- No inhouse restaurant. Many comments here mentioned that you can order anything from zomato/swiggy. Even we thought same while booking but in rainy weather all restaurant denied delivery. So we had to go out in rain to have our dinner.
- AC is not there (only available in 2bhk apartments). Manageable but is required in peak summer
- Glass was broken in my room. I informed them as soon as I checked in. They told they'll replace soon. In coming 4 days during my stay it didn't happen at all.
- We used plates to eat our ordered food. Then we placed outside. They took those plates but didnt give new ones.
- TV is good. With high speed wifi you can watch youtube/netflix/prime in 4k60fps but tv channels are not there.
- breakfast was delicious but daily same (idli, wada) with 1other item different. If that so, go to mayura and order different breakfast items.

Overall hotel is good. You like it at first but service needs to be improved a lot.

It is a great place for the family to stay. It is well connected to the busiest part of the city as well

It was an excellent stay, homely stay.we stayed for a week and had a lovely time. Mulayangiri peak, jhari falls, manyakadhara and many places to visit close by. Room was very clean and hygiene. Vasu gets yummy breakfast every morning Abhijeet makes sure rooms are clean and u get 20 litres of water. Kitchen attached with all the crockeries u need to prepare ur dishes. Overall great experience thanks to vasu and Abhijeet.

Proprietor has given importance to each and every smal detail having in mind the comforts of the customers.

I’ll give 5 start for cleanliness of the rooms (simply extraordinary), politeness of the staffs (exemplary) and the location (perfect).

The only improvement at this moment is to increase the checkout time from 10: 30 am to 12pm which is standard across country.

First of all I thank owner and staff for being very nice and polite.
This is a luxury service apartment, rooms are well built with all amenities.
Truly enjoyed my stay there and Prefer if you have kids and wants to stay in city
Breakfast served nicely and tasty.
There is no restaurant inside so you need to go out or order food from Zomato.
But location is good so plenty of options nearby.

Only a couple of things that could've been better- 1. We checked in late at night, the doors were locked and the phone was switched off, we somehow managed to get in with some difficulty. 2. The towels could have been cleaner.
Otherwise, overall the place is decent for staying. The room is beautiful and well maintained. The guy at the reception was very sweet and courteous. They also have 2Bhk like properties for families, can be considered when travelling in a group.

Undoubtedly 5/5. The property is so exceptionally clean that I've never seen such a well maintained property. They offer 2 types in 2 categories: a) A single room (roughly 100 sqft) and b) service apartment (6-8 ppl can easily stay). You will see every item atthe property are of exceptional quality: for ex Sony Bravia TV in every room, jaguar bathro fittings, Legrand electrical items. The staff was extremely polite and helping. They provide free breakfast in the morning which was really nice. Wifi is available. Overall a pleasant experience.

Our stay at The Holiday Inn Chikmagalur was most memorable.
I went to Chikmagalur for a spiritual tour with my wife.
After alot of research we zeroed in on The Holiday Inn Hotel based on reviews.
We were very sceptical?
Our check-in time was 2.pm and
We reached Chikmagalur Bus-stand at 12.30p.m.
I called Mr. Vasu and asked for one and half hour early check-in and he responded positively
A couple of minutes walk from Bus-stand took us to the hotel and Mr. Vasu welcomed Us with a warm smile.
The check-in procedure was very smooth. We gave our Government IDs and filled up a form.
Mr. Vasu took us to the room and showed us basics like switches and hot water adjustments in wash room.
The room was clean especially the wash room with toiletries in place.
2 bottles of 1 litre and 4 bottles of half litre were in room.
Ample amount of coffee sachets, tea bags, green tea bags, sugar sachets were in place.
The room was very cosy and bed was very comfortable.
We were served the best of breakfast in buffet and excellent coffee.
Madam was very courteous and made sure we were comfortable.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and not to forget the kind gesture of owner of the property Mr. Sreenivasulu while checking out he handed us snacks to enjoy during our journey.
Best value for money stay.

The amazing part of my visit to Chikamangalur was my say in The Holiday Inn. The place of perfection in hospitality. Everyone should enjoy their service at least once if ur in chikamangalur. I felt homely out here and even extended my stay due to there lovely hospitality. They guide and also provide a perfect plan for your tour in Chikamangalur. They make all the arrangements if needed.

The house is furnished with top class interior upto the extent of how much needed. Every thing needed, will be in its place like that of a six sigma perfection. Cosy bed, clean bathrooms, homely kitchen, wide hall and dining area. The hall has smart tv and internet connection.
The Internet issue is present all across chikamangalur, but there efforts to provide alternative is commendable. The pricing for the rooms are so affordable for the kind Of service they provide. “Value for Money “

Stayed at this place for just one night with family. We arrived late, by 9: 00 PM. Host called us a couple of time to check on us.

He also suggested food places to eat, as they don't serve food at night.

Parking was limited, but I guess place was empty, so I got parking. Check-in was quick.

Room was spacious, and really clean. Toiletries were standard. Breakfast was limited in spread, but was really tasty.

A perfect stay and a pleasant experience.

Rooms:
Rooms are spacious, very clean, new and with all the comforts required along with Complementary breakfast during the stay.

Staff and Management:
The staffs here are very helpful in nature, very polite. The complete stay for us was more like staying with a family right from the start. We were given a warm welcome and the Manager helped us make understand the basic map of Chikmagalur, and suggested the plans for two days based on our stay to cover the major attractions that one should not miss.

Adding to that, they have even helped us with the contact details of Trusted cab services at a reasonable price to commute to the spots in the plan.

In Short, everything here is perfect. Would definitely re-visit/book this place if or when I visit Chikmagalur again. I would definitely recommend this place.

Rooms were clean and breakfast was good. Can park around 3-4 cars. Service was awesome. Nice and calm location. All major restaurants are near by

The Holiday Inn at Chickmagulur is very conveniently located. Just away from the main road in a residential area. It's in the heart of the town without any pollution and all essential facilities are available.

The owner Mr Srinivas is a through gentleman and always eager to help the guests. Before reaching the guest house, Mr Srinivas called me several times and enquired about my arrival time.

While reaching the guest house we had a warm welcome from him and Mrs Soumya the front desk incharge. After offering flowers to the deity as per hotel tradition we were given a service apartment having two independent room with attached wash rooms, a living area with well cushion sofa and tv, dining area, kitchen with all utensils gas and a service veranda. The entire apartment have been very well maintained and very neat and clean.

The breakfast is complementary having simple South Indian dishes like idly, vadda, pongal etc. In the room arrangement of tea coffee are adequate.

Regarding site seeing the owner will explain all the details in map including the good restaurants available in the town.

Over all we the family of four stayed for three nights and had a very comfortable and relaxed stay and enjoyed the hospitality of Holiday Inn Chikmagalur.

In future I would like to stay here again.
