We have been to this restaurant a few times and can notice the quality go down the last time. The chicken used was not fresh and tasted bad. The masala used on fish fry was very strong and we could hardly taste the fish. Authentic sea food mangalore style restaurant has turned more into indo Chinese restaurant.

A really nice place to have food outside IISc campus. The place is decorated very well. The owner takes care of the business quite well. Only the service is a little slow sometimes. Otherwise food is worth the money.

The best seafood ever! Amazing place! Very clean, charming hostess and some amazing food makes it one of the best seafood restaurants in Bengaluru. If you don’t eat here… it’s your loss!

Please don't pack up and clean the restaurant while you have customers siting even though its a bit late. Also if there are specials in the menu then write the price next to it would be appreciated. Thanks.

Loved this place. Food is very good. Slightly a small place but nice for a family luncheon. The boss lady comes n enquires personally about the taste of food. My all time fav is red boiled rice with fish curry.yummmm.

The food quality is good. We visited The LightHouse several times and enjoyed the food every time. If you want to enjoy seafood, please try this place. One of my favourite dishes is the calamari ghee roast. One thing to note, the quantity may seems less but most of the time, it's adequate.

It's light house theme restaurant and sea food specialist, Excellent interior and good ambient, food also good

Food is good. But it is a bit overpriced. I had chicken lollipop as starters but it was the worst I ever had. Main course chicken was the best but it was overpriced.

A small and nice place serving delicious seafood at a reasonable price. The place was packed with happy customers. Overall it was a good experience.
Ps: 4 instead of 5 stars for the squid being a little overcooked and rubbery.

Excellent ambience and service. Food is very good. Parking is difficult as you need to park on the crowded new BEL road.

I had been to the light house twice and fully satisfied with food and service
Place is mainly known for an authentic mangalorean cuisine.
Konkany style Fish curry, ghee roast, neer dose.every fish dish here is unique n will surely satisfy you.
We tried shell sukka (tisara sukka), squid, prawns ghee roast, neer dose, appam, Bangda curry and all items were really good and reminded me food of coastal region.

Special mention
To my surprise chinese food here was also good. Chinese bhel is must try.

Deserts Ragi manni is must try and gudbud icecream is good option to conclude ur lunch/dinner

I did not find any dedicated car paking place.
Vehicles can be parked in adjecent roads and its worth to park nearby and walk for few meters to savour this coastal delicasy.

Good place always attracts crowd and this place is no exception.
Please be ready to wait for 15 mins on weekends before u get the table.
Service is really quick n certainty it will make up for waiting time.

It was an experiment and it turned out to be good.
Owner of the restaurant instructs and manages on the field. Every item came was perfectly garnished. Every item was fresh, even the green salad.

The food was good, I'd give it a 9/10. Ambience is good as well 8/10. Staff was well trained and courteous. Choice of beverages could improve. Portion size was apt, one appetizers, one curry n two rotis is more than enough for two people. The place is on the first floor and unfortunately not handicap accessible. Lastly, the restaurant is pocket friendly and well maintained. Would surely visit again.

First visit here. Wanted to try some food which was light. Selected Neer Dosa and King Fish Curry. It was really awesome. The authentic Mangalorean taste, the consistency in the gravy had me finger licking. Fish portion was a large one and really fresh. Service and staff were good. Ambience good. Lots of variety on the menu Prices was bit on the higher side. Washrooms really neat. Parking could be a problem (especially on weekends) but you could try in the small by lanes near by. Lively place to chill

Always a lovely experience, sea food is my personal favourite and I always remember The Lighthouse when I crave for seafood. Crab ghee roast, prawn ghee roast is love along with Appam.

Great place to have authentic seafood in Bengaluru. The restaurant is famous for its Mangalorean cusine. The menu is complete with exotic items like crabs, shell fish and other fresh water and sea fishes. Great ambiance complemented by prompt service. The budget ranges from moderate to high. The seafood platter costed Rs3000! But it was worth it. Table for two would easily cost you between ₹1500-₹2000.
Even though its on a pricey side, your taste buds would be tantalized for sure!

P.s. We traveled from HSR LAYOUT to have food at this place!

The restaurant is above Shiva Sagar Express but we never visited this place. However today out of the bloom we payed our visit and it was. Elegant ambience, courteous staff, quick service and great food. We had ordered watermelon juice, spring roll, Paneer Ghee roast, neer dosa, plain kori roti with veg gassi.
We enjoyed eating Paneer ghee roast, spring roll. Even plain Kori roti with veg gassi was good.

Horrible starters but good main course. Ambience is good. I don't know why the hell the waiters are forced to speak in English while being a customer iam trying to communicate in local language.

Poor service. Overpriced. Tasteless. The staff were not even well informed about what's on the menu. A popular food channel had recommended that Chinese bhel was a must have. The staff were unaware occurs availability and after several reminders he came back to inform us that it was available. But they decided to bring it after our main course was brought to the table. Obviously we cancelled the order. After driving from Kanakpura road on a hot Sunday afternoon for lunch we came back highly disappointed. Am not going there again. Am not sure if it was my bad day

Food is good but the covid norms aren't properly followed most waiters wear mask but keep it tucked in below their nose.

Though Lighthouse is a terrace top restaurant in the heart of RMV main road, it has a relaxed ambience. The food service was quick with sufficient quantity in the curry. Pricing too is reasonable and if my information is right, they offer a 10% discount to the MSR University students. It would help if the owners respond and confirm the 10% rebate. A good marketing strategy to attract students to patronise the restaurant.

Do yourself a favor and visit this lovely restaurant. The service is unmatched. The staff truly cares about your experience. The food is absolutely amazing – especially their unique starters. We will visit again.

Many told me that this is a must visit place for sea food lovers, but didn't meet my expectations

Great place, great ambience, yummy food and very warm owner. Chanced upon this restaurant 2 years ago and this has been a favorite go-to place since then. From the decor to the food to the ambience everything is too good and what takes it a notch higher is the personal touch of the owner- she visits every table multiple times to ensure we are always at ease, recommending yummy dishes and ensures that we have a great dining experience. The food is so yummy and everytime we visit the place there is a different dish- both veg and non-veg- to be relished and it all tastes yummy. Must visit place

The food is very tasty and also expensive. The sea foods prepared here is a must try option. For 3 people it costed around 1500, whIch includes starters and main course.

No manners how to deal with the customers and people, the owner and the manager are very worst to deal with the customers. The taste is also very bad compare to your hotel the road side food is far much better.

You will feel like you are in Mangalore. But Mangalore weather is not like Bangalore. But food is still good.nice.

If you want to have an authetic mangalorean/coastal cuisine then this is the place to visit. Priced a bit on a higher side but worth a visit.

Great ambience, that's the first which pops out when you think of this place. Really liked the decoration there. Food tastes awesome. We ordered Achaari Gobhi, Veg Hyderabadi, England Paratha and Jeera rice, all of them were really tasty.
There is usually a waiting time (10-20 mins) on weekends, but they have a separate waiting area.
The staff are friendly with exception of a few who behaved very rudely when we asked the status of the order.

Overall, great place to out with friends/family.

A default choice to go to on every weekend. Tasty food. Nice service. Best option at and around new BEL road if one wants to eat coastal and north Indian food. We go to this one as my 8yrs old likes it a lot.

The ambience is very nice, airy and green. The food also is tasty I am a big fan on their south Indian thali that thay have begun recently. I have tried quiet a few things on their menu and it is all very good. My favourite is their shimla mirch and corn dish. The owner and staff are very friendly. They come and chat with you about your experience at their restaurant. I found one dish a tad bit spicy for my taste and they obliged and made a less spicy version. These little gestures add to the good experience. Their pricing is also very reasonable. This restaurant has turned out into my favourite place to grab a bite.

It was a great experience having dinner with family at Lighthouse. Food is tasty and has north india flavor. Ambience is very good and staff is very courteous. Especially I liked the way owner herself take care of everything and greets each and every guests. I would recommend this place for family outing.

The ambience allows for a casual meal, you can visit this place with either your friends or your family with equal comfort. Staff is very friendly too.

Ambience was good. Food was good however.some items were not served as it has to bd.ordered malai tikka.was cold with chess.spicy was real spicy.and tasty with masala kulacha.sevice was good.with koi.crowd was ok.

Too oily biryani. Not cooked veggies, corn kofta was bad, again oily. May be only paneer items are good

Was given food made out of left overs. Butter chicken was all burnt and black, was probably served from somebody else's tandoori order or leftovers and re cooked. Shame. Should be arrested and closed down immediately.

We tried ghee roast paneer, stuffed kulcha, dal fried and veg Kolhapuri and they seemed to us overrated. Ambience was very nice but food was overly priced. The staff was good. You can get variety of veg and non veg here including sea food. If you want a peaceful dinner you can try this, it's just above the shiv Sagar Xpress.
