Great Place! Loved the ambience and the service. The food was good and authentic. However, it is an expensive place but it sure is a place worth a visit. Go Ahead! Enjoy your appetite!
Visitors visiting this fascinating Museum can stand a chance to see engines of various cars, machines used in industry, a jet aircraft engine, and other mechanical devices.
Through engaging exhibitions, the How Things Work gallery aims to illustrate how machines operate. The pulley system, gears, various motion-transfer mechanisms, levers, inclined planes, and screws that reduce effort are all included as exhibits. The use of these straightforward devices in everyday life is covered in a separate section.
The 'Science for Kids' gallery was inaugurated on 19 April 2019. There are exhibits on Our Senses, about animals, colours, light, sound etc.apart from interactive toys. There is an exhibit where kids can take photos of themselves with life-size animal models. 'Mirror maze' is another attraction in this gallery. Guys Pls have a visit at Visverya Museum and feel the Magical Blast.
Was really hyped to go try this place out. Wasn’t disappointed at the end of it. The trifle was a decent choice and both the chicken steaks were on point along with mash and sauces.
Went back to The Only place after a long time. Things have changed! The food is not as good as it used to be, the steaks are mediocre and the fish that we ordered was hopeless. The service is very bad and the staff there are not hospitable or friendly. The only things that good are the memories of the place from when I was a child.
Lovely ambience and the food is typically made continental and American which is rare to get cause other place you have a touch of indian spice but not here.
Never order. Barbeque chicken wings. Waste of money also the waiters don't listen to you. If u call them 5-6 times they will respond once. Will never visit this place again.waste of money.prices are too hyped and taste is not that great.
What can i say about this place. Its legendary. 60 years of history. The owners personally invest all their time and love to this place. Its 'The Only Place' i ever go to when i am in bangalore. My favourites are the Chatubriande Supreme Steak, The mini Whopper burger which is anything but Mini, the mini lamb chops, the shepherds pie and so many more. Always fresh always amazing. Owners personally go to each and every table. Simply amazing
I think it's high time this place upgrade their dishes to more modern steak preparation. Their decades' old style of serving sizzlers and steaks aren't up-to-date with how meats and/or steaks are treated today.
Went after several years. The place still buzzes with activity and owners/staff are attentive in a good way. Felt a bit underwhelmed on a mix of food, food presentation, ambience, lighting.cannot point out exactly. Eg Onion rings and steak tasted great but jacket potato was undercooked, too few side vegetables, lighting was not cheerful but place was buzzing. Place needs a touch up.
The quality of food seems to have declined of late. I'm rating The Only Place specifically for the Thanksgiving Meal for 2021 which was 1200 per person, but not worth more than 250 rupees for the quality of food we had. However, I still recommend the lamb lasagne off the regular menu!
I keep coming back to the only place when ever I get a chance. The steaks are really good, you can have a well done or a medium rare. Go by what the server suggests, you are in good hands. The seargent pepper steak is something I love, it is a well done steak and really is a delightful meal. The chateaubriand supreme is amazing, be careful not to order anything else with this because you would be stuffed. We had gone for thanksgiving and I loved the spread, I would definitely go back for it next year. They had roasted turkey, traditional stuffing, cranberry sauce and to end on sweet note the pumpkin pie (I loved it even though I hate pumpkins). As usual the apple and cherry pies were exotic to say the least. I would keep going back to this place, since it is the only place that gives you the best steak.
This place is a steak lover's paradise. They have a plethora of steak offering and trust me you would definitely find just the right kind of steak as per your liking. The waiters are really amicable and help you understand their menu. We had ordered the much awaited Philly Cheese Steak. My husband found it undoubtedly the best, after the ones he had gorged on in Philadelphia. I had called for a portion of the Salsbury steak. It was juicy, moist and just the right amount of chewy. The mushroom sauce was killer. I wanted to try their Peach Pie as well, but even our souls were full. Something that I look forward to trying the next time I visit. The ambience was very cosy and reminded me of Christmas in one word. Traditional and comfy seating. A must must must visit.
Excellent food as always. Loved the cafe vibe ambience. Lasagna and Steaks are a must try here. A little on the pricy side but considerably cheaper amongst the other restaurants in the locality. Feel free to ask the waiters for their recommendations, surely won't be disappointed.
They have the best streak in bangalore. Really tasty good and reasonably priced. They is very good homely vibe in this cafe. One of oldest restruant of bangalore.
Probably the best go to place continental foods. Downside is its always crowded especially during Friday and weekend nights. Would encourage to reserve a table before arriving.
The ambience and setup of this place is good. The steak and burger items are great. The ingredients are well cooked and prepared. For parking, valet is arranged which is a good thing considering the location.
The place was good. Food was really nice. We had a chicken steak, lamb burger and chicken wings. Only thing was they can find a way not have flies all around the tables. That was the only downside.
This is the only place where our Indian cricket players love to dine steaks & you want a good & amazing steak, where do you go? The Only Place, of course This is "the only place" I come for mainly jacket potato & today explored 2 new dishes. Lasagna & the minnestrone soup here was a good choice. Creamy soup with fresh vegs is definitely a good starter.
Other favorites include the Filet Mignon, the cheese-covered Boston Special, & the Steak au Poivre.
Then we had the chicken lasagne with layers of cheese & chicken mince. Very yum! We also had chicken salad & lamb chops which is worth a try.
The meat is so tender it melts in your mouth and the side veggies gives the perfect combination of taste you can ever imagine.
We highly recommend the Mutton chops & there mustard sauce is Savage!
All American burger and Cheesy fries are a must try here! We had tried the chateaubriand steak which is pretty heavy for a person, overall the steak was well cooked and delicious. Really good ambience. Though within the city, this is a good place to hangout quietly. The food is really good. Do try their steaks especially!
Loved this place. The ambience. Service & food everything perfect Highly recommended! ? 5/5
I'm the kinda person who writes essay's when asked to write a review. I go into every small detail and drill down properly. But, not this time. Here's my review - If I had one last dying wish, I would use it to go bonkers eating at this place. Nuff said!
Just some statements for reference - Best burger in Bangalore (hands down). Especially the whopper and all american beef burger.
Best steaks. You'll not find a better place in Bangalore. Price to portion to taste ratio is phenomenal too. That chateubriand supreme though. I could cry.
Nice place, polite staff. Had ordered Chiken stroganoff which wasn't good. It was like Shredded chicken mixed with curd. OP special fish steak was good.
We tried the chicken lasagna, two burgers, one bowl of "cheese" fries and another chicken dish, all of them were sub par, didn't meet our expectations at all, they were way too overpriced and with foods such as these we would typically expect a flavour burst or a rush if you must, but they turned out to be really bland and lacked the relish we were looking for. Disappointed: (
If you want to have American cuisine, this is the place to go. The place became quite crowded, so it is better to reserve in advance. If you are in a group, it is better all of you reach together. They will give a larger table only for members present.
The food was bland.okish ambience.price was also okay. I didn't like the food, cause may be I like more spicy food and there were not much variety for veg.you can check out once but definitely I won't prefer to visit this place again.
A cool dine out place close to the heart of the city.ambience was so warming.found mostly family crowd and importantly food was nice. I won't say awesome but it didn't disappoint.
A non vegetarian's delight. They do have plenty of options for us vegetarians too but somehow this place seems befitting for the non vegetarian friends who can eat to their heart's contentment without worrying about having a deep hole in the pocket. This one has a old town charm that hasn't changed over the years.
Great place for steaks. I personally like the Chateaubriand Steak. Medium rare, cooked to perfection. Veggies on the side are fresh. Mashed potatoes could be a little richer. Must visit this resto.
Absolutely not a place to try on holidays, or for couples! Come on a weekday with a huge group and share the many dishes - fiery chicken, roast turkey, Apple pie. It is, however, the one place which makes you wait for an hour and then says sorry, no regular water - we can't guarantee its purity. I had roast turkey and it was pretty ok. But everything else, including my wife's order, was not!
The food was okay, I think the perfect quality wasn't delivered because I set foot there on a super crowded day (Christmas) We had the lasagna, beef+chicken+turkey roast, barbecue chicken and the apple pies. The pie was a little soggy and under prepared, the beef+turkey roast was simply scrumptious especially the filling. The chicken roast wasn't was I had expected (lol) I expected something with a crispy coating so it was kind of bland. The barbecue chicken was really good. They lasagna was the best dish! Could have been a little creamier though. Do have the in-house ice tea! Really good.
I've heard a lot about the lasagnas served here and that their food was worth a visit owing to it's very old history. I visited the place on Christmas Eve and the decorations around the place filled my anticipation for the food to come. We ordered a Salisbury Steak and Beef lasagna and disappointment was all I felt for the lost Christmas meal. The lasagna had far too much tomato sauce and was too sweet to be delightful, and the cheese was a crusty slab on top of the meal (owing to the fact that it's been reheated as it was prior cooked, a friend of mine noted) and the steak was bearable but I've had better mashed potatoes and while the carrots, beans and peas were a good addition with the meat - as someone who absolutely loathes peas my meal went downhill (disclaimer, it was written on the menu that the sides included peas.) Perhaps the pre-prep was because of the busy day that was there and they had no time to cook food on the go. Either way, my curiousity about the place has been satisfied and I'd never have to visit the place again.
Chicken Peprika.watery tomato sauce, deep fried heavily breaded chicken. Cold and absolutely soft steamed veggies. This was the last time I visited, no more visits and recommendation. Sad to see it in this state.
Extremely overhyped. Read the reviews and went there today for the first time. Ordered barbecue chicken which was undercooked and it tasted nothing like barbecue. It was accompanied by a limp nongarlicky bread, bland boiled veggies and a lump of plain mashed potatoes. My daughter ordered a chicken whooper burger which was very average and plain. Nothing special. Overall the food was a big disappointment, service slow, waiters overworked and average ambience. There are much better places and much tastier food around.
Long time customer of OPs. Good place, good food. Parking for few vehicles. Good vale for money. They can enhance customer experience with some live music.
A clean restaurant, spacious, quiet for families to have conversations.
The food was decent- but overpriced-the price does not match the taste. We attended the buffet for thanksgiving. Disappointed. They served Turkey only one serving. When we went for seconds, they said that "Turkey is served only once, it's not part of the buffet ". It seems like that they were undertrained and partially professional.
It's a joke and was embarrassing to see how they deceive us with partial truth.
Overall, a peaceful experience. Family environment. Overpriced for a decent taste. Not worth it to go again.
Overhyped. Ordered a portion of the Salisbury beef steak. Priced at 370 for a portion, I expected some minimum quality for the food, but was served with over salty, poorly cooked, flavourless meat. Tasted a bite of my friends fat Joe burger, that was utterly disappointing too
I still would prefer a better locality for this restaurant. And I would give 3.5 stars. Only that, I don't think, there is an option to give half a star. Scope for improvement is there.
Horrible place. Please avoid this place. You can find better places nearby. This place is expensive too. Don’t know how this place got such high ratings.
Really good steaks. Probably the first place I can say that truly understands the subtle differences between medium, medium well and well done. Kudos to them. They definitely deliver class.
