Our stay at the Coorg Other Stay was an unforgettable experience that immersed us in the beauty of nature and offered a perfect blend of comfort and tranquility. Nestled amidst lush greenery and coffee plants, the property felt like a haven of serenity.

The rooms were excellent, providing a cozy and relaxing atmosphere. We were delighted by the stunning views of the surrounding nature, which truly added to the charm of our stay. The staff was warm, friendly, and attentive, ensuring that all our needs were met with a genuine smile.

One of the highlights of our stay was the delicious food. The flavorsome cuisine tantalized our taste buds, offering a delightful combination of local delicacies and international dishes. We couldn't resist indulging in the delectable offerings throughout our stay.

Indoor activities provided a perfect blend of entertainment and relaxation. Whether it was spending quality time in the well-equipped recreational areas or simply unwinding amidst the scenic surroundings, there was always something to keep us engaged and content.

But what truly stole our hearts was the nearby bamboo forest. It was like stepping into a different world altogether. Walking through the towering bamboo shoots, listening to the soothing sounds of nature, and feeling the gentle breeze against our skin was a truly mesmerizing experience.

Overall, Coorg Other Stay exceeded our expectations. It offered an ideal getaway where we could reconnect with nature, indulge in delicious cuisine, and create lasting memories. We highly recommend this delightful retreat to anyone seeking a rejuvenating escape amidst the beauty of Coorg.

Our stay at The Other Side was a memorable one to say the least.
The property is very well maintained with a perfect balance of stepped natural pasture lawns, plantations and landscaping. The atmosphere is truly calm and serene, the accommodation options are located so there is complete privacy and the property is designed such that it encourages you to explore and find wonderful surprises along the way. We felt that we were in our own private estate. The welcoming and courteous host, Mr. Nikhil and caretaker Bhagya with her team made sure that all our needs and more were taken care of. Great location, well designed cottages, bespoke service and overall a unique experience, The Other Side is a must visit!

We stumbled upon this place and were looking to stay a night near virajpet. We made our way to "The Other Side" the access road is good all the way up to the property. As soon as we entered the gates of the estate we were so surprised by the way the entire place was landscaped and had so much green all around, its almost as if you are in a plush holiday resort. The drive that leads you to the property and the house inside is surrounded by pastures and large trees. Each house has a story and has been meticulously designed. The estate is quite large and has a bamboo Grove towards the east side. This Grove is a extremely captivating and the experience of spending time in the grovebis magical. Bhagya, Rashida and team took great care of us. Their food options are elaborate and the food options and taste do not dissappoint. The rooms are very well kept and maintained and have been designed with a lot of thought and philosophy. The cottage called Arka is their star accommodation and is so well designed by Nikhil who owns is estate and is also an interior designer. Every corner onnthe property has a story to tell. I would urge everyone to give this place a try it's absolutely stunning, peacefull and meditative, you would leave here only to come back and visit again.

Arka is out of the world. Gives balinese feeling once you enter the villa Kudos to Nikhil, the owner, who has designed the villa. Its too gorgeous inside out. Price is however on the slightly higher side. Would have been better if even lunch/dinner was included with the price. But over all had a very pleasant experience.

Thoughtfully designed and well maintained. The concept of Sacred Geometry used in the design of Arka is marvellous.

The staff was very courteous and helpful. Enjoyed being the guest. Will definitely come back!

We had booked this place on a friend's recommendation for a weekend trip in April. We were 8 of us, including a kid. If you check the website, the place looks breathtaking, surrounded by trees and nature. They have 3 cottages -Arka, Vipra and Shyara. Arka, being the most expensive with a tree house kind of a structure. (Its not an actual tree house). Vipra is a double storey cottage with one room on top and a small room downstairs. These rooms are extremely small with no air conditioning in spite of the website mentioning there is climate control in the rooms. The geyser was also not working and there was hardly any hot water. There was no mesh for the windows and only a table fan. The food menu was exhorbitantly priced but the food was good. It seems like the owners are least interested in customer satisfaction. They seem very arrogant and if a customer complains about a service, they ask them to vacate and go instead of offering to fix and find a solution to the problem. Here I would like to mention the lady host Sindhura who literally spoke cheaply over the phone when we told her our concerns. She acted as if she was doing us a favour. I think there are much better places in coorg for lesser rates and better hosts and facilities. It felt like the place hardly had any guests and all the electrical appliances seemed old and non functional. The only good part about the place were the three ladies in the kitchen who were always prompt and served us tasty food throughout our stay. They have a nice property and if the hosts maintained the place and cared about their guests, that place would be worth it. Otherwise, the place is a total rip off. Would not recommend this place to anyone. Prices are like 5 star but service and facility is not even 1 star. Save your money and turn your vehicle to the other side instead of going to the Other Side!
Vipra room was quite small and 5000 rupees seems like a rather high price. No ac, no mesh, no hot water. These are basic facilities.

The place is a total rip off, for the price they charge the room and bed is well below average… there is absolutely nothing to do here so it’s basically the worst place to be if you have a kid, there’s zero amenities, no pool, gym, indoor/outdoor games, living here was equivalent to staying in an old age home for the price of a four star hotel, the owners are clueless as they think they are proving the best service in the industry, the place is running at the mercy of a cook and a caretaker…

Nice place for a complete detox from city life. Food and hospitality impeccable. Even though we went in peak summer, never felt the need to use AC. Long lazy treks in the morning around bamboo groove was something amazing. Thanks Nikhil and family, especially Rashida and Bhagya (cook) who by the way gave us some amazing food to eat.

I recently visited the 'The Other Side' farmstay and what do I say, it was a soulful experience. Right from the time you enter the resort until you exit, this place has you captivated. Each cottage has a history and resonates with nature's elements. The culinary skills of the innkeeper was masterful and dining experience was ambrosia like. We were looked after really well and recommend this place highly for anyone who likes a early morning sunrise over the hills, a quiet corner to read a book or just a walk in the wilderness.

Just wow! The standout for me is the attention to detail. I felt the whole place is so well planned and stunning. I literally had goosebumps while i spent my time at the bamboo forest. I have been to many amazing places but this one stands tall in my list. I will stop here, But i will leave it to everyone reading this comment to experience the other side on their own. Can't wait to be back here again. Just hoping this place doesn't become commercial and remains as it is now

Tastefully done tree house which reflects the deep passion of the designer.the place helps you to unwind, relax and connects you to your innerself. The labrynth, the bamboo grove, the various species of birds that fly by are a treat by itself second only to the magnificent sunrises that take your breath away.
Tasty food with great service deserve a special mention.

It's a calm and beautiful scenic place to enjoy with friends and family. The rooms are well maintained, spacious and clean. A perfect place to stay and relax. Had a great time at Otherside farmstay. We went in for a days break an escape from cities buzzle and stress. A perfect stress buster at natures lap.

Great hospitality received from all the staff at The Otherside Coorg. Will strongly recommend this homely resort for anyone looking at a quick get away from the monotonous city life.

We had been to The Other side farm stay a few times now. The ambiance, serenity of the place, people and the chill vibes just simply draws us back year after year.
Nikhil and his team go-to great lengths to make every visit a memorable experience. Their attention to detail, extra mile delivery simply make this an awesome experience for us. Five in my book always, can't wait to go back

I have been here a couple of times, its a great place to stay, very neat and clean. The property is located in the midst of beautiful greenery all around. Nikhil is a great person, always there and willing to help out whenever needed. I will sure visit The Other Side when I am in Virajpet the next time and strongly recommend this place

This property has 3 options to stay. One is like a dorm and if you are a group then you can choose to stay here. It does not have a shower though. The best of the 3 is Arka. It has a stunning view and is great for a couple. It has a tub overlooking the fields and the hills.

Rashida the hostess was always very helpful and the home cooked meals she and her team prepared were always delicious.

Great place to go to unwind and relax. They have a nice place a little distance away called the bamboo grove. It is a super chill place where you can go and be in the lap of nature.

This is the second time staying at this wonderful place away from hustle and bustle of life. Good place for family and friends. Nice ambience and very much into the nature with bamboo farm, coffee plantation, paddy fields, ponds all in the same property (bought good old memories of my ancestral home).
Must stay at Arka.
The staff are wonderful and the service provided are exactly what we needed (much much better than the service we get from any hotels).
The food have been just great as well. Everyone enjoyed throughly.
This is my second visit and surely will come back again.

A beautiful and blissfully done estate. The Shyara cottage is excellent for a group of 4-6 people. The stand out is the estate. Definitely ask for a tour. The food was good too and a courteous staff. Would recommend to everyone.

We had a wonderful time at The Otherside Farmstay. Very calm & serene place to stay & relax. Landscaping of the property is very much appreciable. Morning walk to the paddy fields & bamboo grove was awesome. Enjoyed walking through the Labyrinth.

I celebrated 2023 new year night in The Other side. Driving in and out night drive to this place in bike was crazy, place has vibes and creatively done.it's the best place for group as well as couples. Food served hot and delicious in that chil weather, I appreciate the kitchen staff.ambiance with bonfire was the best. Definitely going to revisit.

Our stay at Arka, The Other Side, was superb. It was everything I would ask from a farm stay. Far from the maddening crowd, silent, serene, space to unwind and stretch. The place has been designed with a lot of thought and love. The polite staff only add to the charm of the place. We want to visit again, no doubt, ASAP. Kudos to the management.
