The Quorum Hotel

This is a very old hotel and desparately needs renovation. The furniture is in appealing state. The air conditioning is pathetic, the hotel provided us with a table fan to provide relief.

Not at all advisable

Went for a wedding reception, very good staffs and event decorations was stunning.
It's near the cityy.
Good decent food.
Toilets are very clean.

The hotel is very tired looking. Paint peeling off walls and ceilings. Worn carpets and flooring.

Very mediocre place, the photos on the website were taken on the day of opening I think 3 or 4 yrs back, 4 star doesn't justify it's just a 2 star place! The moment u enter the gate ull come to know what is u have stepped in! No valet parking and they lie by telling he's gone for holiday, next comes The fellow named Ashok he thinks he owns the place and but somebody needs to tell him his place, doesn't know how to talk to customers, the lobby is a circus, there is no decent lobby desk all are sitting at so low level chairs and tables, if u sit any low ull sit on ground the 5 if I could give stars I for the FOOD they provide unmistakable best till now! U have keep on asking for everything otherwise they are the laziest counter staff but the cleaning and hotel staff are the busy bees! Think and book the place

It is a very nice place in a good location. Great hotel service and rooms, and all areas are very clean.

Don’t be fooled. This is not a 4 star! They should be stripped off their stars! We had 2 rooms for one night and it took us to change atleast 3rooms to get something “stayable”.

The changed room also had AC issues and the AC stopped working mid night. We were very eager to get out of the hotel as soon as we could! 7000rs per night is a waste. OYO or other 3 star hotels would be better off for half the price!

Room locks are not working properly, when I ask them to change the room as even there own maintenance guy is not able to open after 20 tries still they said will do the needful but no action was taken nor my room was changed.

Poor service.

Hotel was ok ok no one came to take the luggage for us to drop, breakfast was not good only for the name sake theye given complimentary breakfast, room corridors were very bad smelly no ventilation at least theye have to spray room fresheners stayed only 1 day not happy with there services tv not working

I am writing this review after 11 nights stay here my booking was done through goibibo First of all thnks to reservation manager Asha Nath mam for warm welcome and cooperation all staff's of this property was polite and good. Breakfast was also appreciable.
When i was reading some reviews before booking this hotel some negative things are
Late service, cleanliness, breakfast etc.
Frankly speaking there is no such issues
Actually due to covid acute staff shortage was main problem may b that time some pax faced such issues but now thing's becaming normal.

1 advice i should give to the management some parts in the rooms like drobes, gates, and ac ventilation should be more clean.

My stay was very pleasant there
It's located only 800m from Mysore railway station. You can easily go through out the city from here.

Located in hot of the city, short distance to all tourist places in and around. Good vegetarian foods available, Affordable prices for all categories.

Absolutely Terrible and the worst ever experience ever.if the current staff continues to run the hotel then I only say - Let God save their customers. A very arrogant and unfriendly front desk. Truly disappointed

Very beautiful! Exquisite! I have had a great time in this hotel! I don't understand why it is underrated! Very neat and beautiful rooms with high order of ambiance. Very comforting and welcoming. Great lights and impressive customer service.

Stayed for Two Nights. Dirty to the Core. Don't get fooled by the photos. No customer service.pathetic.all rooms are stinking. No hygiene. Don't ever make the mistake.

Shockingly poor service. Lack of staff, extreme delays in service provision. Suffocating room, poor ambience.giving one star for its mere existence!

Please avoid this hotel. It's a nightmare. Unhygienic and stinking. We just could not breath so did not check in. Rooms in horrible state. Not sure how they have permission from the local corporation as this place is so unhygienic really! People will fall sick if they stay for few hours.

The hotel is OK for stay but has large scope for improvement.
Pros:
1. Vicinity from Station and University of Mysore.
2. Decent rooms. Clean beds, linens, bathrooms
3. That’s it.
Cons/ scope of improvement:
1. Towels kept for guests were torn
2. Only 1 Tea/Coffee mug in room that too had stains
3. Very limited food
4. Lighting in the room is very dull
5. In my 3 days of stay, housekeeping didn’t pick up my call even once!

Extremely unhygienic to start with. Torn carpets, broken glass frames.if that wasn't sufficient STINKING rooms.none of the staff answer your phone.neither reception, nor room service, nor guest service.morning breakfast time was miscommunicated to us and we had to wait one full hour to get our breakfast. If there was a minus rating.would prefer to give that.

I sincerely suggest no one should book this hotel it's the worst hotel ever I have visited in my life time and I have experienced. Starting with the way they receive customers, they don't keep bathrooms clean and they call themselves star hotel even the Unrated hotels are much cleaner than these people in Mysore. The basins leak water comes to room, They have Tv which has no channels in it and they call themselves star hotels unfortunately they don't have the minimum sensible staff in their hotel who don't even know how to talk to customers in intercom phone.
I seriously would suggest if you are booking this hotel you are just going to be upset when you reach.
So think and book some other decent hotels Mysore has lot of options

Room are not maintained well. There was lots of dust inside the room and lots of garbage outside the door. For tea and coffee there was broken cups inside the room. Room service wasn't so good. The breakfast was good. Perfect food, perfect taking care by one service guy.

An average looking place. Looked almost lifeless, perhaps due to COVID related slump in occupancy!
Front desk was unmanned for a while and we gad to ask around for help with booking. With a dull ambiance and an average decor the hotel was an unimpressive option for the tariff quoted.

I hate carpets. The dirtiest thing.
The customer care is bad, can't imagine they wanted to charge me with a ten rupees for a photocopy for a page.
I the customer had stayed there for three days.
I would have been a loyal customer. If services was better.
Sadly even the old carpets would have been forgotten.
The best part is it is well located and it is close to university grounds

Stayed for 3 nights, very decent hotel. The staff and service is excellent. Cleaning is also done regularly so all good!

Have attended friends reception for non veg food.
It was at its worst and never prefer this hotel to any one and we can say street food are better than this hotel food. There is no rating for 0 or I would have rated as zero only

Good ambience, if ur fantasy is dark theme then it's for you. Cooperative staff, but restaurant price is bit toooo high. Deserves tobe 04star hotel.

Worst service.
Booked 2 deluxe. One was fair and for other one AC was not working throughout night.when informed they came and checked minor things. Whole night we were suffocating.
For Dining service. 1 cup of tea is 100₹ which is just a cheat.
Also For one of the room bathroom was untidy, bedcover had marks.
Really was such a unpleasant stay.

One of the best hotels in Mysore. Value for money and great service by the staff. The rooms are tidy.and clean. Not everything in the food menu card was available for Dinner.
The best was the breakfast - Anil at the restaurant went above and beyond to ensure you get everything you need.

We stay in Quorum Hotel for 2 nights, it was a good experience, and beautuful hotel with nice terrace there is pyramid and a swimming pool on the terrace, one can enjoy there in the morning.

The worst hotel I ever saw in my life. They served ROTTEN chicken. Other items they served less than a small spoon. Biryani was prepared with idli rice.

One of the best places to stay in Mysore.
Right from lobby to room, housekeeping everything is top notch.
Buffet breakfast is also worth the bucks with a great dining experience.

Once my favourite hotel to stay has lost its charm. Still if you are little adjusting type and reaching to tourist place is important then it will be a good place. Budget stay.

Do not book for any function / party / event. Non veg food at its worst. We organized an non veg food event and it was at its worst.

I visited along with family for a day stay. Gave a try after suggestion by my b2b supplier. I being a travel agent visit usually different hotel so that i can personaly visualise the services and recommend the same to my clients as I prefer giving best of services to my customers. We reached by 0930 and there was a lady in front desk who was taking care of check in and check out usal check in time are mentioned on hotel website which was missing on there website. Lady did not had that professional experience she rudely updates that previous night had 100 percent occupancy due to which rooms are not ready and can be given only after 11 am as booking passed on through sales and after there update some how got the room at 10: 40 and where in the lady said that our room is upgraded to second category of room type which was luxury room when we check in inside the room saw that room is to compact for 2 adults and 2 children's and a infant they claimed, it's luxury room with bigger space compare to standard room but found the room is the same as standard room and not worth to be called as standard room to for the price what they are charging I went and asked again after seeing the room that it's luxury room but that lady at reception claimed its upgraded room but we took pictures of the room inside which is the map of floor with room specification in which it's clearly mentioned that there are only standard room and suite on that floor as we had traveled for some business purpose we did not had time as we had to go out for some meeting so told sale person to give us difference for higher room category so that if Fisible we can pay the difference and change the room when we return to hotel after our work same lady was at reception when we asked the difference she told it's 8000 rupees difference when I showed her same room it's available for 3800 with breakfast and dinner online she started arguing that you are five people we given good rate which is 4000 with child. I kept quite might be dinner is good so might be charges are more for our surprise when we went for dinner the buffy was only most veg and non veg it had only name written and empty dish when we asked restaurant people they started giving laim excuses telling due to bird flu they are not keeping non veg on table and serving only starter on table. They served semi cooked chicken tikka which did not had any salt nor cooked properly its waste of paying dinner money they are charging 500 rupees per person over all its waste both breakfast and dinner dint had much option room which they claim was not luxury phone not working lockers not working cable not working after so many complaints no response. Don't waste your money on this hotel there are more better hotel in mysore in that budget with more better services.

Location is good.but rooms are clumsy.not well maintained also.beds are uncomfortable.lights are dim.room service & housekeeping is horrible.restaurant & food quality is good.

Could be 5 Star but few of this at the hotel was very much neglected. Basic Amenities like Water Bottle, Face towel, Room Slipper are missing in room.

Service standards should improve. Breakfast menu should have More options. Even buffet items were less. You have to call the reception twice for service request. Lights are dim.

Good stay, very small room for a family, clean and hygienic. Food was good. Good place for one night stay.

Don't have much to do around, need to walk atleast a km to buy essentials.
