We have been a regular here for more than a decade now. The open air dining space with the nature is just perfect to unwind. Every dish made to perfection every single time. Our kids love this place. The fig salad, babycorn and Pesto Pasto are a couple of " must have" here.

Visited The Rogue Elephant a few days ago with my family. It was our first time. Thoroughly enjoyed the time we spent there - fabulous food, very attentive service, great ambience and an extensive menu. As a self-confessed foodie with high expectations, was surprised that we have not been here before though the place is >10 years old. Will definitely go there many more times in the future.

A hidden gem. The beautiful tree covered setting provides stunning shelter from the sun and creates a calm and peaceful environment.

The menu is a mix of South Asian and European dishes, and manages to get both at an excellent quality. I really enjoyed the mango and avocado salad and Kati Roll.

The service is relaxed and friendly, and meals are promptly prepared. The coffee is very good too.

Well, as soon as one enters this beautiful cozy cafe with open air alfresco dining experience, you get to feel the charm of old Bengaluru. I've had the pleasure of meeting the wonderful owners of this beautiful cafe at the heart of South Bengaluru. They live and breathe by their brand, The Rogue Elephant, that they have worked hard to build over a couple of decades and with their lovely partnership they serve up some deliciously delectable Mediterranean food with Indian palettes in mind. There are some good vegetarian options as well as non vegetarian for people who are keen on food preferences, kid friendly too. One can hope to have a wonderful experience with their beautiful family, getting to enjoy the good food and ambience, this place has to offer. I had a wonderful time here myself. Friendly and kind staff who serve up food that they are proud of with smiles and happiness in their hearts. I would love to visit here often.

Nice overall. Good cold coffee, pleasant service. Sundried pasta could be improved. Too much like tikka masala sauce.

A very cozy, soothing ambience during the nights, good food. Not so pricey. Veg options could have been more and the closing time could be a little late (closes at 9: 30). Was a little messy when it was raining, there were technically three tables. Rest were wet.

Great food and a lovely ambience. Unique items on the menus sets it apart from the usual Bistro or cafe. We got to try some new flavours here.
Prices are a little on the higher side but it's worth it in terms of quality and taste.

Had lunch there. Pasta, sandwich and Kathi roll were good. Carrot cake with ice cream was really nice.

It was okiesh. We ordered pasta it was supposed to be a wet pasta but turned out to be a semi dry. Not for a pasta lover.disappointed.

Pretty nice place to catch up for a meal. It’s def one of the nicer open air restaurants/ cafes that you visit.
We had two types of salads and chicken appetizers. The avocado salad is really good. The food was overall good. The service fairly decent and the ambience above average.
The seating space is okay for the size of the restaurant. It gets busy so you cannot hang out for a long time.

It is a nice place for quick bites.nice and peaceful ambience. Food is also nice.nothing too hi fi types.yet the restaurant is nice place to hangout if you enjoy peaceful dining. No smoking zone, no alcohols.

The Rogue Elephant opposite to Krishna Roa Park in Basavangudi is one of the best garden cafes in the city of Bengaluru. Located in a area where there are very few cafes that serve the wide varieties ranging from Italian to Mediterranean and some continental food, Rogue Elephant sure has the perfect food with a beautiful ambiance that one could enjoy. Most of the tables are setup in an open area while there are few options under a roof as well. Getting a seat sometimes maybe tough as they are booked full more often than not.

The Cold Coffee was a perfect blend of milk, coffee powder, ice, and ice cream. There is nothing to complain about this one, sip on this and have a great time admiring the place.

Cajun Fish Fingers with Tomato Salsa was our pick for the starters. The Fish fingers were cooked well and had the right amount of crisp which was not over done. The tomato salsa however was too thick and had a lot of dry fruits which I never expected to encounter in a tomato salsa and that for me was a big no.

Cape Malay Chicken with Yellow Rice is a nice take on the famous Malaysian dish. The yellow rice with onions and chilli was beautiful, the chicken curry was rich in onions, ginger, and garlic. It was the perfect combination with the chicken cubes nicely cut and cooked to perfection.

Aglio Olio is a retro favorite here at The Rogue Elephant. The pasta dish was dominated with the taste of garlic which was too overpowering, a little less would make the dish a lot better in terms of balancing out all the ingredients.

They have a seperate snacks menu from 3 to 6 PM every evening and they are worth a shot as well. The service is spot on, the ambiance is one of the best in the city, and the food is as good as it can get. You can find them at 93, Opposite Krishna Rao Park, Jayanagar, Bangalore. Parking is a challenge here as you cannot park your four wheeler on the main road, so I would suggest you find a spot on one of the side roads and walk your way to this beautiful cafe.

The restaurant is on budget, basic needs are not at all satisfied (low tissue paper) water was not at all served. Service interaction was horible.

Rogue Elephant is above any and every other restaurant in Bangalore. You will be confused if you love the ambience or service or ultimately the food! Must try - Falafel Hummus Tabouleh and their Salads.

The food is great. Every menu that I tried had different and unique flavour. Place is great.it's a outdoor sitting arrangement.the staff are very courteous and I tried what the staff recommend. And it was worth it

Very expensive place. Rs. 225 for one chicken sandwich. Rs. 50 for one cup of coffee. Problem #2 is the place is infested with mosquitoes. Only good thing about this place is, the dishes are tasty. Try chicken renaissance sandwich.

Ambience is the highlight. The food and tea was ok. Rating 4 for the place, ambience and the alignment with nature all around. Go here for a coffee or tea and some light snacks

A really good eatery in Basavanagudi with good food and courteous service. It has outdoor seating. One of the must try places in the area.

Nice place with outdoor seating and lots of plants around. I just had a green tea and carrot cake this time and it was good. Next would try the thai dishes which are known to be amazing here. The ambience was awesome and peaceful.

This place is located in oldest part of Bangalore, place as completed 10years for now, coming to ambience place just looks like a greenery garden all the nature lovers will love this place, place is filled with all the plants and BASAVA which are also for sale.
As the GREENERY STORE is inside the cafe which adds on more beauty for the cafe. Having good food and enjoying nature and and you also shop also what more you need,

- Soup of the day: - this was my favourite had every perfections in it

- Home style mutton curry with seasonal rice: - best home style dish
Desserts we had: Nutella delight and Fresh fruit pannacotta this was season of mango / you can try other fruits depending upon season.
I had a pleasant dining experience with food of the most exquisite flavours.

The place brings back the nostalgia of old bangalore where the city was filled with greenery everywhere. The food options are also great ranging from continental bites to indian chais. Their cold coffee is the best I have had when compared to most of the coffee places. Loved their Deviled Eggs, Herb roast chicken and Salty watermelon salad.yummm!

Extremely peacefull. A total cut frm the outter world. A beautiful place to visit. Great for brkfast and brunch.
Only complaint would be that mayb bcz its a place filled wid nature there wr alot of mosquitoes.

Breathtaking place to spend a splendid evening. Natural environment theme based restaurant. A nursery, shopping (fabrics, toiletries, accessories, gift items) arena. Friendly servicing. Antique items available throughout. Kitchen is composed of premium chefs.

One of the best Cafe's in South. Retaining the old Bangalore charm with the amazing backdrop of two classic buildings of old time. Food served is average but the ambience adds to it. One of the best tea served in a tea pot.

Home like food. Just love the subtle ambiance, friendly service. Calm place to have a quiet time and enjoy the food. And last but not the least a very good service from the staff.

This place is one of the hidden gem of basvangudi, it is loacted near madavan park.
They have their outside seating and have capacity around 20 ppl at a time.
The ambience is great and food here is amazing and this is the perfect place to spent a time.the service was quick and the staff were friendly.we visited this place for lunch with my friends.
Over all it was a great experience.

We started with
- Mango smoothie: One of the best smoothies.
Starters and main course we had:

- Cajun fish fingers with tomato salsa
- Wine sauteed mushroom on toast
- Classic egg salad sandwich: my favorite

Just happened to land in this place, did not know of this place earlier. It's mostly a house converted to coffee shop. Lot of greenery around and quiet place. Food/drinks, Not too many options and it's veg & non veg.

The negative is too many mosquitoes and really big ones. They will put mosquito repellent but that won't let you sit on peace

Place was good was there for a short time food is cheap. But the only problem faced was mosquitoes during evening which made us leave soon from there.

Quaint little Cafe tcuked in one corner of Lal bhag. They have a lot of greenery and artistic touch in the setting. The seating is outdoors, but we'll covered up by the canopy. They have an artisan store (pretty expensive) and a greenhouse store also where you can pick up cute indoor plants.

About the food, they have a standard menu, the taste is pretty good, but I was disappointed with the portions. It's pricey and too little size!

Lovely ambience, and great food. The only possible downside is the mosquitoes, but that can’t be blamed on the staff (which are pretty friendly).
