The Sigdi Veg BBQ

Been a visitor from sometime, and clearly there is a compromise in dishes and the taste of the food. Totally disappointed in the food quality, Had ordered pasta from the bbq combo, the white sauce pasta literally had taste of flour and was very thin in texture, very poorly made, not a bit of cheese taste, just milk, flour and pasta.

In my opinion it's best in town restaurant, superb taste, good ambiance, humble staff.

The taste of food is good must try giving service 3stars bcz takes to much time to refill items inspite of asking the staff they say ok n don't get it fast

Should keep proper clean in wash basin area & staff be sometimes unhappy face.
Kidndly maintain silence in kitchen area as some times door be open of the kitchen cooking staff keep talking in their mother tongue langauge with some bad words & cheap names calling to each other!

Restaurant Review: Sigdi Veg - A Culinary Delight for Vegetarians

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Sigdi Veg, and I must say it was an unforgettable experience for any vegetarian food lover. The restaurant's cozy ambiance and attentive staff set the perfect tone for a delightful evening.

Mocktail:
To kick off the meal, I tried their Strawberry Mojito, and it was a refreshing blend of sweet strawberries and tangy lime. The perfect non-alcoholic beverage to whet your appetite.

Soup:
The Popcorn Soup was a unique and delicious surprise. Creamy and flavorful, with a subtle crunch of popcorn, it was a comforting start to the meal.

Starters:
Sigdi Veg boasts an extensive range of starters. The Soya Roasted Garlic Mushroom and Paneer Banjara Tikka were personal favorites. The mushrooms were perfectly seasoned, and the paneer tikka had a smoky and rich taste that was simply irresistible. The Aloo Tikka and BBQ Grilled Anas Lemon Mint Corn on the Cob were equally delightful, leaving my taste buds craving for more. The Jalapeno Cheese Poppers and Raw Banana Kebab offered a spicy and tangy twist to the starters. Dahi Ki Sholey was a unique take on the classic yogurt-based dish, and the Golden Fried Crispy Corn and Baby Corn Chilly Cheese added a perfect fusion touch to the assortment.

Salad:
The salad selection was impressive, and I enjoyed the Vec Pickled Salad and Green Salad for their freshness and crispness. The Peanut Chat Soondhi Raitha and Mix Veg Raitha provided a burst of flavors, and the Buttermilk was a cooling accompaniment.

Pani Puri Happy (Friendship Day) :
The Pani Puri served with a special twist for Friendship Day was a fun and interactive way to enjoy the classic street food.

Main Course:
Moving on to the main course, Sigdi Veg had an array of choices to please every palate. The Paneer Papdi Ka Masala and Veg Kofta Curry were rich and creamy, while the Nawabi Dal offered a comforting lentil dish. The Gobi Manchurian Gravy provided a flavorful Indo-Chinese fusion option. The Veg Coconut Dum Biryani was fragrant and full of spices, making it a standout dish. The Masala Peanut Noodles offered a unique twist to the usual noodles, and the plain rice and Rasam provided a satisfying South Indian option. The assorted bread and Curd Rice rounded off the main course selection perfectly.

Dessert:
Save some space for dessert because the offerings at Sigdi Veg are exceptional. The Ancoori Gulab Jamoon, Halwa, Cut Fruits, Ice Cream, and Pastry were all delightful sweet treats. However, the Moon Champak Special Dessert (Trifle Cream Caramel) and Sooji Burfi Sitapal Basundi stole the show with their innovative flavors and creamy textures.

Awesome place. Best vegetarian BBQ in town. The buffet spread is really good with number of options from starters to desserts.

These guys are looting people. The board is says different and they do different.

Always check your bill while paying.

The manager is the worst, he doesn't know how to talk to customer.

His attitude is like he is giving free food to the customer.

I am from Bangalore and the taste of the food was not even close to good, the ambience is good but the place seems cluttered.
The money they charge is high for the taste and quality they deliver

I think it is the best thing I have ever eaten in my life.many different varieties of food. Bbq Package is one which you must try at least in a lifetime.

I would say with revised prices and the quality or spread of food isn't great. Ambience wasn't good either there was renovation happening could hear background noise and the barbeque set was malfunctioned they could not take it out of slot and we were feeling the heat and sweat. Need to up the game guys.

Good place for people who have only veg. They need to have more variety in BBQ currently it's bit less, Other than this taste and service is good.

The taste is awesome and there's lots of variety in offerings, nice ambience, you get a barbecue feeling, perfect place for veggies. I would have given it 5 star if water was free.

The place has a very cool vibe and provide a veg only barbeque buffet.
Service is excellent and they provide unique starter menu comprising different varieties of veg barbeques (pineapple, corn, potato, paneer, mushrooms etc.), soup, chats, pakvada. They also provide gobi manjurian dry which is delicious.
The main course is available with a variety of bread choices as well as rice options.
The deserts - they provide warm gulag jamun and hallway pastries and ice creams.

Over all they provide a wonderful dinning experience and the hotel have ample car parking.

Deducting one star because the wash room wasn't clean and the path was too crampy.

I visited today 01/03/2021, The quality of food has reduced since my first visit, no taste, salty soup, tasteless barbeque items, Uncooked paneer, dryness in the rice, not so polite staff, attitude like " if you want to eat or leave it", for this type of food and service, we pay hefty price for buffet around INR 399 person. Still each 250 ml of water costs you INR 8, they don't even supply 1 liter bottles, for every small bottle you need to pay as they don't supply jug water also. Total loot, the old Sigdi is no more. I didn't get negative star for the restaurant, if you think it's the same old Sigdi (2015-16) you will be disappointed, I will never recommend you this venue. Beware before planning to go there.if you have car, you will struggle to park as you can see unorganized/uncivilised parking of 2 wheelers and very small area allotted for each car parking. Not worth visiting if you have time constraints.

Food quality and variety is good.but the service is relatively poor and the staff response was depressing.probably that's something which might need to be addressed. And the interiors are good, but seems like not maintained well.

Worst food quality, ordered jain food as parcel but received nonjain, these guys are so unprofessional that they dont deserve to run dhaba also.
Wont visit this restaurant next time, jst good interiors dosent mean you can compromise on taste.

Nice place for veggies. I though being a Non-vegan, tried sigdi for first time with friends. Had a remarkable memories on the taste buds. Zinger BBQ.

Its pure veg restaurant with barbeque and alcart available. Food is very teasty and the ambiance is also good. Very friendly staff, so overall had a very good experience.

We stopped on the way during our drive from Bangalore to Shirdi. The road around the restaurant was being done so getting there was tough at that point but the food and service were excellent. Food is excellent and they serve unlimited starters which is refreshing & can be relishing. Overall quality of food is excellent.

Home Delivery of the food was fast and served hot and tasty. I had ordered veg pulao and gobi manchurian, trust me the food was very delicious. They have very less minimum order price compared to other restaurants in this city. They delivered the food in half and hour!

Grills entertaining pure Veg menu is awesome combination with full course meal available with coolers and sodas. My Sister had organised a family get together there. She frequently visits this place.

Do not like where it is situated. But once you enter the place of the ambience as well as the food is great. When we visited the place the menu was limited. Just wish that there were more options.

One of the best place in Hubli-Dharwad to visit for the delicious and unlimited food. I highly recommend this place to those who are damn hungry and are eagerly waiting to have their stomach filled with hot and delicious food items. However the service is bit exceptional.

Awesome place for pure vegitarians to try BBQ. It's a pure veg BBQ restaurant which serves buffet as well as al-kart. We opted for BBQ buffet. Quantity and quality of starters was too good, Ayub was very generous in refilling the BBQs on time. It's unlimited.
Next was mains. We ordered pasta.it was too good Must try it. Biriyani was good too.
Dessert section had ice creams.cakes.jamoons. Carrot halwa. Custard.all this comes for just 399 per head which is worth. 3 cheers to sigdi team.

5 stars for the previous property. Currently it is under rennovation. So the new temp set up is not as great as the original one. Hope to see a facelift of the restaurant once modified. Food as usual is great. Only Veg Barbeque in the town. Uptown crowd too.

The taste is very good. A little dissapointed because they no longer have mini BBQ.other than that the ambience is good.

Due to construction of bridge in front of Sigdi, accessibility is a problem. Though the waiting time for food was more, it tasted delicious. The staff were courteous and we liked the place. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends.
