Absolutely loved the service! The property is filled with deers all around. The staffs Sidhu, Shiva and Chef Mahesh are so kind and caring. The food here is definitely a special mention. Great property for peace and serenity Had a great time throughout the stay

Property is situated between forest so location wise is good.
Rooms are ok in terms of luxury experience.

This jungle lodge had a great contribution to make our leisure period delighted. This lodge built with a huge space but all the area is under proper supervision. Here we got hearty and sincere care in a homely atmosphere.
We got chef Mahesh is very good, humble and caring person. Each and every personnel of this Jungle lodge are very caring, humble and friendly. I never forget cheff Mahesh, Subrahmanyam and room boy Mahesh are remarkable.
But there I noticed a very shocking event. I viewed a governmental postal displayed every where, avoid plastic uses. But this jungle lodge has a huge plastic plates and bowls which used in dining hall. It hit me hard because this is not matched with this excellent resort.

One of the few resorts near the Bandipur Safari counter and within the gates of the reserve. Delectable home-style food and spacious rooms. Located bang in the middle of the nature reserve. Beware of wild animals in the vicinity. There's a early morning bird watch walk you can go for

NOT AT ALL RECOMMENDED
1. They have Smelly Rooms, 2 times we asked them to change the bedsheets still had the same issue in the room. Fan either works at full speed or doesn't work at all, so problematic if you are with a kid.
2. Zero service, for every small thing, like towel, tea, sugar. You have to call them, and after the call they take 10 mins. If you ask them for mugs specifically asking for 2, they will get only one. Same for towel, and again you have to request to get more.
3. In restaurant, even if you ask for anything for kid, they are so rude and they will just try to ignore your request.
4. Before booking, I read the negative comments, still I thought seeing so many positive reviews to try atleast once, but not at all worth to give a try also.
5. This is first time I faced so many issue in a so called 4 star resort, even after charging hefty amounts, they have no service and no respect for their customers, they believe even if people write bad reviews, they will have enough people to visit.
6. In some previous comments, i read some names specifically mentioned that they gave exceptionally good service, not sure where were these people for these two days.
7. Also, there is nothing, I literally mean nothing to do here, nothing is maintained, not even a single place where you can take a nice picture.

I know this comment will just be added to the list of comments and will add nothing, still wanted to add as I am highly disappointed and won't recommend this to anyone.

The staff are incredibly hospitable. Especially Mr. Madhu, Mr. Shiva and Chef Mahesh. Their smiles and attitude truly made the stay memorable

This property does not live up to the Windflower brand. The room given to us was in a different property a little away from the main resort. This was not informed to us at the time of booking. All amenities were available only in the main property. For every meal, we had to drive to the main property or take the shuttle. It was quite scary around dinner time to venture out as there was zero security. Smelly rooms, stinking bathrooms, very poor amenities. No hot water!
Food was average. Service at the restaurant was good. Overall, a terrible experience. We cut short our trip and returned early. We will not go again, nor will recommend this property to our friends.

The resort is very costly. For such a pricing, they should have developed the resort with more activities.
The restaurant was the highlight of the resort. The staff were extremely friendly and received the guests in a very humble manner.
The food was very nice. They served us their traditional cuisine.
The rooms should've been around in the same place. A few rooms are 500mts away from the main place which makes it very hard for us to access anything for an emergency.
The rooms should definitely be well maintained. They can get more serious about maintaining the rooms.
The play area could be a bit bigger in size. But it does have a decent amount of games to occupy the people around.
Overall it was a good experience but not very highly satisfied as it was very expensive for what they offered.

The rooms were smelly and the shower pipes had rust.

Cottage rooms are away from actual resort, they are kind of given more privacy. Resort provide car for going to restaurant and back.

The best part is the lip smacking food served by chef Mahesh look eagerly forward to visiting again.

Cleanliness could be better. Also basic stuff like mirror near the dressing area, hair dryer, paper napkins are missing etc. You would expect such amenities at 10k price point. Breakfast spread was good and the biggest plus were the staff. They had even stored some breakfast for us as we came back late from the jungle safari.

People like Rajesh, Madhu and others are keeping the place alive. Windflower does not care of reinovation hence the property needs repair and maintenance. Service staffs are really good, they ensure you are looked after.

Beautiful place to stay with family. The staff is extremely courteous and the rooms are so clean. The entire property is well maintained. Apart from the rooms, they have games room, outdoor games, swimming pool, spa and the staff has daily activities lined up for guests staying. A perfect place for a quick getaway from the city life. Deers and wild boars walk around the property in the evenings and early mornings so it's wonderful place to stay.

Amazing 5 star resort. I love this place. Hospitality and sercice is exceptional. The management goes to any extent to keep you happy. Madhu is the hotel manager there and is very helpful and charming personality. Food is good, rooms are well maintained.

I stayed in this resort with family for two days from 26-28 Aug. Here is the detailed review with ratings out of 5.a) Location: 4.5 >>Nestled in the middle of the jungle with no phone network (except BSNL). It is captivating, admiring, and close to nature. They do have wifi network. This property won't disappoint in case you are seeking a serene, secluded, and calm ambiance.b) Rooms: 3.5 >> They have two categories: cottages and suites, former is newly built but ~400 meters away from the main property. They run shuttles back and forth to ferry guests to the main property. I stayed in the suite which was inside the main property. Suites are decent in size, with an attached balcony but require major overhaul and upkeep. From sanitary ware to Sofa, all seems worn out a bit. The toiletries provided were very basic and can be improved. The lights were pretty dim during the night.c) Food: 4.5 >> They serve excellent food with a decent spread. The staff is superbly cordial and goes beyond to satisfy the patrons. Mahesh (chef), Madhu, and Subramaniam will make you feel at home. Amazing hospitality.d) Service: 4 >> Responsive and quick to address your wants. They organize a couple of activities to make you and your kids engaged. Indoor games are a big plus.

Overall, decent property to stay for 2-3 days. They should focus a bit on upkeep to keep it functional and competent.

Situated in the middle of bandipur forest, windflower tusker trails is a top location for a weekend getaway.
The route to the property is pretty good and it was fairly easy for us to locate the resort.
The property offers bunch of activities to keep you engaged. This includes 8-ball pool, table tennis, carrom, foosball and board games. Along with this, windflower has a great swimming pool, a small auditorium and offers range of spa and relaxing treatments.
The food options offered for all three meals were pretty limited compared to Windflower Coorg but the quality and taste was good.
Highly recommended for people traveling to bandipur for a weekend getaway.

We opted for spa services which was average.food was good. Service at the restaurant was good. Overall, a terrible experience. We will not go again, nor will recommend this property to our friends.

I am sharing my great and the Best experiences I had been to windflower Bandipur on 22nd Jun along with my colleagues they were 40 plus team members, I must say Omg what lovely place and service so well organised and very professional I highly appreciate Madhu, Umanath, Subramanya and all the staffs and I am sorry I have missed the name of other staffs but attaching the lovely photo Thank you so much for all the wonderful arrangement and chef Mahesh for an amazing food hats off.we loved it and enjoyed this.this trip is so memorable for lifetime! Excellent property and even better food. Special shout out to chef Mahesh. We enjoyed every meal. The service was great as well. Madhu went out of his way to make us comfortable. All the staff at windflower are extremely pleasant. From the watchman to the chef to the server. Definitely recommend.

We had the most amazing stay in Windflower Bandipur. We were two couples with an infant and the staff went out of their way to look after us.

The rooms were absolutely amazing and we stayed in their new wing, which is even more pretty and peaceful as compared to the old one. The only small drawback is that the service in the new wing is very slow since the building is about 300 meters from the main hotel.

Their rooms smelled amazing, had a great view, were spic and span with very clean bathrooms.

The food had a great variety of north and south Indian cuisines.

Mr Madhu and Mahesh were just amazing and went out of their way to make special food for the kid. Loved it and would highly recommend!

5 stars for the food. The chef (I think Ramesh is his name) and his assistants provide one of the best foods you might have tried across Bharat.

4 stars for rooms - The rooms are good and spacious. But a bit surprising that there was no ref (we'd a kid needed to store some of the kid's food), which i was expecting for the price I've paid.

3 stars for amenities - as most of the amenities are not well maintained, especially for the price you pay. The swimming pool's shower area is a mess, broken faucets and not so clean.

Overall foodwise it's amazing and rest all are not upto the mark.

This is a very unique property. Situated almost in the forest, there is wildlife even inside it. While we checked into our cottage, there was a herd of deer chilling right there in the night inside the property just a few meters from our cottage. These are wild, free to go, no one feeds them anything, they just feel safe there and hang around the place, they were around the next morning also. There were lot of deer, elephants, wild dogs on the way here after crossing the forest. The property is full of trees and shade, the rooms were clean, the food was really good. The staff at the restaurant was really friendly. Only down side is that the charges were on the expensive side (if you plan to crash only for the night like we did) but I guess a property like this demands maintenance big time. Will we book again, defenitely yes.

Bandipur has few resorts and Tusker Trails is a good one. The rooms are large, the staff is helpful. The restaurant is great for the place. Don’t expect lavish food but they do their best. The tandoori food they make is delicious. The restaurant manager Chida Raju is a great guy. Ask him if you have a specific need and he will do his best to serve.

The activities there are sometimes suspended due to rain which is understandable. The swimming pool is very nice. Looks dirty at first sight but it’s the colour of the floor which makes it appear that way.

I did not take many photographs but I headed on the narrow road where the resort is to find some scenic spots.

Had excellent stay at the property devine in nature surrounded by forest.wildlife at your doorstep.

The property is very badly maintained, the rooms are old with broken furniture, very dirty uncleaned rooms.
The room photos on internet are not the same as rooms in real.
Only the restaurant staff is good. Rest are non-interested.
The hotel staff leaves property at 10pm to 7am, no one to serve you.
Wild animals roam into property and it's not safe at all.

The best forest holiday I must say. Actually I did a lot of research about other properties in Bandipur. I was concerned about price and value for money. Somehow decided to choose this property even though the pricing is on the higher side. But after going there I realized I made the best decision. Property amazing, staff extraordinary, food was heaven. The property had power back up and was serene. The pool was amazing. Enjoyed the spa massage. Buffet was wide spread and such courteous staff as my son dint have food properly on the returning day they packed muffins for him and gave me. Really appreciate their concern. Chief Cook Mahesh, Manager Sambaraju and staff Subramani took a great care of us. We also spotted deer by the entrance to our room. Most memorable holiday I would say. ️ You might spot other properties at lesser cost but their quality of service might not be the same. Brand is always a Brand. Windflower properties have been home away from home for us especially with our little one around. ️

The property is really beautiful and serene and well maintained and the staff is really polite and also, the food is the cherry on the cake! The most wonderful Chef Mahesh takes extra care of each and every meal and food is extra ordinary!

Good resort at perfect location. Cottage rooms are very spacious.king bed plus a sofa good enough for extra person or kid.very nice and friendly staff!

We were a group of 9 friends that wanted to make the most out of our jungle safari experiences and we were just looking for a decent place which wasn’t too expensive when we chanced upon windflower. The Windflower exceeded our expectations in every aspect a resort could- I.e. The room, the resort cleanliness, the food and most importantly the impeccable service were absolutely top- notch. The rooms are tastefully done up and are large, with high ceilings, comfortable beds and come with lovely large bathrooms with rain showers. The swimming pool is lovely and in the morning you can watch deer run by while you frolic in the pool. The food was absolutely amazing- while not gourmet - for a jungle resort it was homely style delicious- special mention to chef Mahesh and his team and the waiters who took great care of us. The resort is located on the Bandipur reserve which is just 15 min drive from the Bandipur national park ticket counter as well as 30 mins from the mudhumalai ticket counter- so the location is brilliant. They also will help you organise your safari at a small premium. The drive up to the resort itself feels like a jungle safari- we saw chital deer, peacocks, wild boar, hare, etc even before we begun our safari. Highly recommend a stay here and will definitely be back!

Highly unprofessional people joined in their reservation team based out of their corporate office in Bangalore. After initial discussion to confirm when you call them, they never pick up the phone. After multiple follow up when they answer the call, didn't honor the pricing last discussed and answered resort is full. Better to pay little extra money and get a confirmation booking through any online booking site.

They have indoor games area where they have TT, Snooker, Carrom, Foos ball & Chess.

We booked a suite room. Its spacious and very soothing. They have all wintage furnitures. The rooms remind about our old wintage houses. The wintage lanterns and side lamps gives a very nice look to the room and creates a soothing atmosphere.

They have individual house type of rooms in the middle of the forest. So you can roam around.have a nice evening or morning walk.

Food is too good. They have a reasonable buffet spread for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

They have a very nice swimming pool. Well maintained.

Price is more we felt. But worth for the food & service they provide.

Evening you can choose to go to the Nature walk with them and in the morning you can go for bird watching sessions.

We went in Feb, so it was quite dry season. Still we liked the place so much. But if you want to enjoy the greenary, then you have to visit the place in May, June.

Good place to chill and relax. The restaurant (Siddharaju & team) and the staff are very humble. The food is tasty.

The stay is beautiful and the food is absolutely amazing.
The head chef mahesh and sidduraju from the fnb team have been excellent and created a really special experience at every meal.

It was a very good experience but no TV at room, pool was under maintenance and no mobile networks but Food was exceptionally very very tasty and healthy.menu was different for all 3days. Main chef Mr. Mahesh is very keen to know about the taste and was there always if we needed anything. All staff was very friendly Mr.subramani, Mr.shiva.

- Calm and serene resort, close to bangalore and perfect for a 2 day getaway.
- Food has more than adequate variety, specialty of the Chefs seem to be Indian food (which they excel at!) special shout out to Chef Mahesh who won us over with his tasty masala dosas and general kind demeanour:)
- Overall service was beyond excellent - Staff also speak multiple Indian languages + English.shout-out to Subramani (subbu Anna) who took special care of us and is definitely a big motivator to visit this resort again!
- Rooms are huge, spaceous and well equipped with all necessary amenities. Can comfortably house 3 adults or 2 kids + 2 adults.
- Spa Services does not seem to be available regularly, we couldn't avail it when we were at the property. However, plenty of other indoor and outdoor activities as mentioned on the website can be organised.
- Extremely cute dogs on the property, along with other wild animals like cows, peacocks and boars. Best to be mindful of this, especially when travelling with young children.
- special note - the resort had fully functional WiFi which was not mentioned in their website!

Overall good experience. One can spot many animals right in the resort campus. Herd of Deer can be found inside at night time too.

One of the Finest Wildlife resorts with great value for money. Excellent food. Fantastic Hospitality. Very good variety of food. Great Breakfast specially Masala dosa made live. Lovely Baker. Brilliant Chefs. We went as a family of 9 members booked 4 cottages. Lovely swimming pool. Ambience is so good. Safe place. Well maintained. Wonderful snacks. Great tea time. Specially on the day of Bhogi and Pongal. We were served chefs special khara Pongal & Sakkare pongal which was Bliss. With pure ghee. The next day had special counter for Ragi mudde and hurali kattu saaru, Avarekalu soppu palya and uslis. Hot water service is wonderful. They provide you wifi for mobile whatsApp services. You may not get to make calls otherwise not receive. Well Organised Ever Helpful and smiling and very cordial Staff. Accomodative Manager. They all treat Guests like their families. Bless them all. We as a family give them all 100/100 rating. Desserts are a treat to have. Danish baked pie was Simply divine. Ooof. I can write a story. Great place. Will be there back again. Located at a serene spot amidst the lush forests of Bandipur, is the Windflower resorts. We planned our year end vacation here and had an accommodation at one of their cottages. The cottage and it's location was simply blissful. Lovely interiors and spacious rooms. The food served at this place deserves a special mention. Just amazing - the spread and the taste. We were spoilt for choice. We took the safari from the resort and although we were a little disappointed that we could only spot a leopard at a distance, a bear and some wild boards and deer, the drive into the woods itself was quite an experience. The staff is courteous and lovely and make you feel quite comfortable. Highly recommend this place if you choose Bandipur.

Disappointed.had booked 5 rooms for 2 days. Rooms were not maintained well (stinking and dusty), linens were not clean, untouchable towels. Average food quality, hygiene and taste. Not very well trained staff and Manager. Pricing is 4 star but nothing better than a ordinary lodge.

Property located in a nice place surrounded by forest. Rooms are good abs spacious. Bathroom is amazing with open shower in backyard. Buffet menu options are good but taste is ok ok. Staffs are very helpful and quick is resolving issues. Morning in resort is so nice with birds chirping sound. So relaxing and loved it. They have kids play area and indoor games room. Free parking but bit small area. As we visited in the monsoon time in August so it was full of greenery and loved the surroundings. Overall loved our stay.

Excellent place, service by all the staff was outstanding, they took care of each request with utmost care, special shout-out to chef Mahesh. The cottages are away from the main place and are so beautifully maintained. Only thing we missed out the safari due to lockdown.

Food was good and staff are extremely supportive. Only one thing to be improved is in room blankets, pillow covers are not clean. Other than these overall it is nice experience. It will be good if this is taken care.

A good place for a weekend or a couple of days of peaceful vacation. The food and hospitality really takes the first slot.

Good silent surroundings amongst farms and a few villages. We found deers close to the cottage we stayed. Deers are a common sight and on the treck during bird watch, we saw bear marks.

But the deforestation has its mark around the place, most of the trees cut down and a few are left so the wild animals have migrated. I was thrilled before the visit since we picked the jungle cottage which is about few hundred metres from the suite rooms.

The thrill died down since I was expecting isolated rooms and more jungle, also we had to go back to the main place for food.

The good part is the package covers food, breakfast, lunch and dinner. To me, personally I feel the price is on the higher side.

It's a good place to stay in Bandipur. Full points to their service and food. Lots of birds around if you are interested in birdwatching. It's couple of kms away from the new safari point. They have a recreation room which has carrom board, chess, pool table etc.
Rooms are spacious and so are the bathrooms. The fittings and furniture though show the wear and tear a bit. Rest all well.

Staff are very hospitable, they take care of the guests needs in every possible way. Property is right in the middle of the forest, animals like deers and wild boar visit the property. Peacocks and other birds also come along. Has a nice big swimming pool, games area and kids play area. Food ia good and overall a very pleasant experience

Excellent Resort within Bandipur Tiger reserve forest area. We stayed at Jungle Cottage which is situated across the road about 500 meters from the main resort. The cottage gives you the thrilling experience of living amidst jungle. After 7 PM, it is adviced not to go out of the cottage without the vehicle of the resort. They have vehicles always ready to carry guests to and from the cottage for Breakfast, lunch and dinner. Food quality is excellent and all the employees are extremely polite and welcoming. They arranged jungle safari for us and took us to the core area of the jungle. It was an unforgettable experience.

Good place rooms need serious maintenance but staff at restaurant Madhu, Mahesh etc try their level best to serve food with lot of love. Overall overpriced stay,

Perfect place to stay at Bandipur. Rooms are very clean. There's a play area for both adults and kids. There's a well maintained swimming pool. Buffet also had many varieties of food. Would definitely recommend this resort to others

Visited this place back in 2018. The resort is located inside forest area. The stay was perfect. Food was amazing. You are not supposed to get outside your room after 8 pm because of wild animals roaming around. More rooms were being built on the opposite side of the resort entrance with amenities better than the current ones. And also wifi has been introduced.

Good place to relax. Good food and facilities. Totally disconnected from outside world, no TV and mobile network. They provide their own wifi with decent speed. Situated in between the jungle, the place offers you good scenic beauty. However I feel it is little over priced, but you can enjoy your stay with your family and friends.

Awesome resort adjacent to Bandipur forest. Everything here is awesome except that the food is not up to the mark. Very close to nature and relaxing environment. Swimming pool needs some repairs.

A beautiful place nestled in the heart of Bandipur well managed by the staff. Rooms were big and clean. Food was excellent. Go for the APAI plan.

Pro tip: the latest acoomodation - Jungle Cottages - are about 250 mts away from the main hotel. While they do provide a buggy for to and fro, it's slightly inconvenient to travel such distance for all requirements like tea, food, indoor games, swimming pool etc.

Not worth the money! Their swimming pool have sharp edges. My kid got many cuts on his leg. Suddenly we saw too much blood oozing out from our kid s leg. Atleast 4 bandages were applied to stop the blood. Kids play area is pathetic.
Rooms are good and comfy. All the 3 Meals were delicious. Everything else is chargeable even the Bullock cart ride.

Situated inside the Bandipur national park, this resort is hidden among the trees. I loved it how they have kept or being forced to kept the vegetation around the place. Some 5 pointers is the service staff at the restaurant here. You will not come out from that cafe unhappy i hope. Rooms are good and provide good view from all the windows.liked the natural light in the bathroom. Had a massage session here and it was good too, though a bit costly. Price for one day stay was 14k INR that includes lunch/dinner/breakfast. Considering its remote and the food was good too the price tag seems reasonable only. 1 star less as i found the reception are sofa covers really need attention.

Serene atmosphere. Bird watching, nature walk, safaris. Spa, good food and comfortable stay. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful. Nice break from crowded city life.

This is a great place to go and relax.go with your family.the staff is courteous. The food is good.you will spot deers and peacocks outside your rooms in the morning.
