Property is nice food very nice service is very good Hospitality is very very Good the way they trat Guest is simply awsome i definitely recommend people to stay here once Fod is fantastic it gives you the homely food taste.

People make places interesting.
The resort is a freshly built haven for people looking to stay amidst nature. The lawn overlooks lush green and deep valley with amazing view.
Mr. Vincent has been a very supportive and tremendous at his work as Manager at taking care of his guests. You will never get a NO from him for anything reasonable that you ask for. Overall, the experience has been extremely wonderful and memorable. Keep up the good work. We shall surely return for another stay.

Awesome location and the hospitality. Calm and very neat inside the property. The property is in front of the coffee plantation. Home style food, even though the chef is not available they somehow managed to prepare food for us. Overall good. Hope we will visit again.

Winterfell! One of the stay which i got to know via Instagram.
Even though the pics were good and hard reality was something different which we got to know when we reached location.

Since we were 9 of us, had to book 1 room and 1 dorm[so called cottage from Owner].
Room was very good.spacious, can easily accommodate 5-6 and had good view.
Food was good, service was good and no issues on the same.

So far, so good. Problem started here.
1. Dorm was small in size within which it can accommodate max 4 and there were 2 bathrooms and 1 was clobbed with water, there was a water leakage inside the room.
2.when we were asked to get this sorted, Owner was like we have shortage of labor service and we cant [we were like, 'ARE YOU SERIOUS']
3. They were very frequently turning off the electric geysers for no reasons and we used to follow-up every now and then to get it turned on.

@owner - People come all the way from different places to spend some peaceful time and have some good memories.
But when such things happen, this will ruin the whole trip.please ensure such things wont happen in future.

It's a beautiful place surrounded by coffee plantation. The people are very nice and service is good. The only drawback is if you stay here in summer it's hot during the day inside the rooms since there is no AC, but otherwise it's absolutely wonderful to stay here. Don't forget to wakeup for sunrise!

Just another Sunny Sunday well spent at the Winterfell homestay at Coorg.
A quaint place located amidst the lush coffee plantation at Somwarpet Coorg is a perfect getaway for a small group of friends looking to escape from the mundane wfh.
The cottage is spacious with comfortable beds to let you slay your card games and for a goodnight's sleep.
The pool is just enough for lazing around to beat the heat if you have the pool all for yourself:)
The nightsky was so beautifully starlight during our visit that we spent a good hour counting stars and all the good things:)
We enjoyed the monday blues with a long walk around the coffee estate just enjoying the lush greenery around us. Our package included breakfast and dinner which was good enough to fill our tummys. Food was average though!

This is one of the best places that I have stayed during my vacations so far. The location is awesome with some great views of the mountains and forests. Rooms are spacious and clean. The caretaker Mr Vincent is extremely courteous and takes good care of all guests. We met the owner; very humble person. The food is freshly prepared and is yummy and homely. Overall, a great experience!

I had an awesome experience visiting the Winterfell, the place is so peaceful and view from homestay is incredible. It feels great to be in the clouds. Felt heavenly, homestay staffs are so polite.food was best.must visit

We went there as a group of 10 and the rooms/surroundings were really beautiful and clean. Pet friendly and baby friendly place. Food tasted great accompanied with BBQ and camp fire. Worth the money spent and really recommend for every one travelling to Coorg to choose this place. The pool was soo good and clean that we got it all for ourselves.

The Winterfell at Somwarpet, Coorg is one of the most beautiful resort / Homestay in coorg.
Location is so divine you can view the mountains from your room, amidst coffee plantation.
Food is so fresh & yummy here, totally homestyle & lipsmacking.
You can play badminton, Table Tennis, Archery, and they also have kids playing area.
Main attraction & my person favourite is their mindblowing swimming pool, you are gonna have a lot of fun here.
Their cottage are very premium & classy with super luxury & confort, king size beds, royal sofa, attached luxurious bathroom & a huge spacious area will give you a very royal & great vibes.
Owners & all the staffs are very gentle & humble and will try to make your stay as comfortable as possible.
If you are visiting coorg you just cant miss this beautiful homestay.

Good place and nice environment around the place is located at the highest place near somvarpet and the vibes of the place hits to an such a level that you feel that you are in the lap of the nature, the big glass views make you feel that you are in nature but in actual you are in the comfy of a nice sofas and beds. The pool outside is also not much chlorined when we were present and if u are in a group you will definitely enjoy the place. The place is super quite and u will definitely enjoy the birds chirping and if u are lucky u will spots some Malabar hornbill.

Excellent rooms and a great ambiance. The attention to detail in the decor and amenities made for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The peaceful atmosphere is a great escape from the mundaneness. Highly recommend!

Totally worth it.
The room is very clean with very classy couch and bed and very spacious.

Table and chairs are kept outside the room. The pool, lawn in the outer space is so well maintained and clean
Mr harish, the caretaker was so good and friendly.
Food is absolutely delicious
And the kitchen staffs are really nice and humble people.
This place is an absolute bliss and one of the best places in Coorg.

A well spent break from the usual routine of office n housework. The weather was awesome and not to forget the sumptuous, hot meals all day long on the table. Dedicated hosts Saty acca and Mr. Appachu were perfect to the T.
The loveable family of Renuka and their untiring service need mention! Kudos ️
As a small suggestion, please keep the guests informed about the weather so as to carry suitable clothing.

We stayed at this place for 3 days n it was an amazing stay overall. The property is situated amidst serenity and in the outskirts. The view from the property is so very beautiful n lovely. The food was premium home food. They served everything hot, as and when the guests arrived. The staff were courteous and took care of every need. They have a beautiful waterstream within the property n the approaching trail is so beautiful again. The property was very well maintained n the rooms are spacious. There are so many places to visit around which are not so much explored by tourists i believe and the staff arranged a day tour for us. This is something I recommend for a group as they have rooms that can accommodate 4 ppl. Overall, this place is amazing:)

Please don’t go by reviews. Lonely place and costly. Far from tourist spots. Very difficult to manage emergency situations. Not so good food. There are more better home stays around Kushalnagar to Madikeri road.

It's not kid friendly as there's an open pool and no fencing at the end of the property as it is situated at a height

Great place, food is great, staff was friendly and polite, great service, This is one of the best Hotel in coorg I have ever stayed in.vibe here is amazing. They keep their premises rooms, bathrooms and common area very clean. The breakfast is really good. A special mention about their staff who are very polite. Also a big thumps up for the staff who give you a tour of the place the first thing after you check in. I highly recommend staying in this hotel for everything they have to offer is really good. Best time to visit monsoon
