Not a good place to go with family. I was given a ground floor room without basic amenities like soap and bath towels. You will only get hot water if there is a power supply. There was no view or place to sit but stay indoors. Far from the bus stand and you need to hire an auto whenever you are going out to a restaurant or need anything. Highly disappointed with this homestay.

Vaishnavi ma'am received us very well.
Rooms are safe, neat and clean.
All facilities are available.
The best part is our morning breakfast Neer dosa and curry. I never had such good neer dosa in my life.
We'll definitely recommend this place to our family and friends too.

Easy access to the main interesting places in Madikeri. The host was providing good welcome to the guests. Bike parking was there and that was main for me along with our stay too. Had amazing moments there in Madikeri.

Vaishnavi Villa aka Thelma's Coorg chalet is a family home stay located in the Madikeri town of Coorg. It was known as Thelma's coorg chalet for the last few years but recently the owners themselves got it changed to Vaishnavi Villa.
We had reservation for a room for 2 adults and 1 child. The room allotted to us was a spacious one in 2nd floor with 2 separate beds. The room was bath attached and has a small balcony. Everything was neat and clean in the place.
Best part of our stay was the breakfast served by the owner. There was a dining table and chairs for having food. Rava idlys with chutneys were competing with the hot coffee to be delicious.

Hi, I was going to book this homestay on MMT and then I saw photos of snails in your homestay on the fork and on the washbasin. I was very close to booking it but due to that reason I did not. Another thing is I came here to see the reviews. Although all your reviews are nice I feel you should change your CRM team since I've seen a few bad reviews and the response from your end is not right. Did to the neglegence from your end towards those reviews I refuse to stay.

Also I'm giving a e star rating and saying this so that your overall rating doesn't effect.

I hope you work on the pointers i mentioned otherwise the place looked really nice for the price. If you do work on these points if really appreciate it and do let me know by responding if you'll improve these 2 points.

Literally a piece of heaven adorned with flowers all around, the place welcomes you with a lane of beauty and silence, at door you could find Thelma Ma'am with beautiful smile and charming personality, which makes the place feels like home. A perfect place for staycation away from hustle and bustle of city life. Perfect and budget friendly place!

Called him for booking, firstly he put a lot of rules saying no firecamps, bbqs, music etc. We called him to book in advance but the trip is scheduled 20 days later but he is demanding full payment. Thats right, not even an advance but the full payment! Ridiculous. I simply booked another homestay by paying 500 advance

Pathetic stay and worst experience living in Thelma's Coorg Chalet. The house was untidy, nothing was clean and the service was horrible. Please stay elsewhere as Coorg is filled with beautiful homestays unlike this one!

Pleasant and peaceful stay at Thelma's. She is such a wonderful lady, guides you for your itinerary and suggests many things if you ask. Room was clean and spacious too.

Had Awesome experience in Resort. Nice view from inside. Complementary breakfast is provided. Car parking available. Whatever they show they'll give the same. No fake advertisement like other resorts. And price is also reasonable.

This place is at the end of a street in township residential area. Not a remotely apart building.

Do we get a network connection from airtel As I am planning to stay there for a week I need to work there

One of the finest place during my trip, I forgot to review on Airbnb as I booked through that. Coorg is really a good place and I realised the people are more than that. I stayed at this place and enjoyed the serenity, the host are really awesome and the place was also very comfortable.

This place is great. Avoid taking rooms on ground floor you wont get any view.if you stay in madikeri this place is close to bus stand Raja's seat and most other tourist attractions are nearby. Mrs. Thelma is also very supportive.

One of the worst rooms. It was an out house and rooms were smelling real bad. And fun part is when I rate them one star they say tat it's fake and I'm not there guest. Kudos to your memory. To boost up your memory here's a screenshot of the booking (BOOKING ID - HTLLQUHFX5)

It was a nice place at affordable cost to stay. All the necessities were provided. There is plenty of space. The bathroom was clean. And most importantly, complementary breakfast that was home cooked was very delicious.

I did not liked the room as well as place because its too far from any tourism place like Dubare, elephant camp coming to the room.room was not having proper lights no fan on ceiling its just waste of money.most important bed sheets n pillow were not washed as thy were stinking.its better to take hotel rooms instead of this homestay.i ll not recommend anyone for this.

Had booked the homestay for a night for my parents through MMT. It was a wonderful location, the hosts were really heart welcoming and the rooms and surrounding were excellent. Home made idlis along with chutney and sambar was really delicious. If Coorg/Madikeri is planned again, this has to be the one for us.
