Decent place. Food on a banana leaf. Wide variety of fish including one called Disco! Worth the visit just for that.

It's famoused only for vlog and reels promotions. Food is very worst and rate also high. Nothing is good.

Loved the fish curry rice here.curry was mouth watering. I never had such delicious fish curry anywhere else. Tava fries was also good but these dishes are pricey

Its a good hotel last time they ve given good fish. This time i ordered Kane fish its not good in taste. Not worth. I think its better to put suggesion box there to knw the complaints etc. Bcoz lot of customers are visiting there so.

Average if you have tasted Giri Manja’s or other restaurants in Mangalore. Every fish item is slightly burnt which has an impact on taste. Fish curry is better than the rest of the place.

Fresh seafood available here at extremely affordable prices. Meal costs Rs. 40 and consists of rice, fish curry, pickle and veg curry. You can also buy fried fish like disco, muru meen etc. Also has squid and prawn ghee roast.

Great place for fresh delicious seafood. Also the people here were very nice.

Excellent food and service. I felt like attending a marriage meal.coz they service food is the same way. Unlimited meals and fish fry served at tables in bulk wer we can choose from the tray as to wat kind of fish we prefer to eat. Overall a must visit place.

Don't get all flattered coz it's a old restaurant and cheap
It's so overpriced for the quality of fish they serve.
There are many other better option for sea which are budget friendly as well around the same area.
The chef there is untrained and only fit for the laborers who come around tired to eat after a long days work and not for a family crowd who is expecting standard quality fresh food.

Very basic restaurant serving an amazing seafood spread. Seating is in rows and food is served on banana leaves - reminiscent of marriage hall dining experience. Food is very honestly priced and has amazing taste. We tried Anjal, Disco, Silverfish fry items all of which were very good. Fish curry and rice was very tasty too. Would highly recommend a visit if you are in the area and love good seafood.

We were suggested to visit Thimmappa by a complete stranger. As we were in the area, we dropped in.
Thimmappa did not disappoint. Definitely a cheap eat recommend. Traditional, scruptious and satiating fresh fish and seafood. A strong 5rating, for the fantastic food, homely hospitality, novelty seating and ridiculous value for money.

Lovely fish curry meals with fresh fish of your choice. The place is crowded at peak lunch hour. If you can manage to be there by 1pm, you could easily get a seat on arrival.

One of the best hotel for sea food lover. We enjoyed a lot eating multiple types of sea foods. Taste is too good. Prices are little expensive compared to other restaurants which is same as Bangalore seas food restaurants. Well cooked food with spicy mouth watery fry.

You need to wait for the seating due to heavy crowd but not more then 10 min for sure.

This hotel serves mouth watering dishes worth all the hype. We ordered prawns ghee roast, pomphret masala fry, kane rava fry, disco fish masala fry, crab ghee roast and chicken sukha. The fish dishes were spicy but very tasty especially the prawn ghee roast and the pomphret fry was delicious, we couldn't get enough of it. The service was good too, the waiter was very polite and we didn't have to wait long for the food.
This hotel is a must visit when in town. Happy eating!:)

Damn this place is an institution, the food is king here so don't expect swanky seating and suited waiters, it's a what you see is what you get kind of outfit and well there is so much to be had here, recommendations - Squid Ghee Roast, Nang Rawa/Tawa Fry and Prawns Rawa fry with whole rice with a dab of their fish curry.

The place was very congested and the tables and place were always wet and watery and they don't clean to keep it dry often.
Food is good and the price was moderate. People working here were kind and responsive. They could try and keep the place dry and more neat & cleaner.

The one place I visit for lunch whenever I am in Udupi/Malpe.
I simply fish curry meal with choice of fry fish & a soothing glass of butter milk is what you need in the middle of a hot day.

Fish fries are excellent here.if you are coming to Udupi near Malpe, you definitely have to go to this place. The price is also keep it cost 30 rupees for males and rest depends on your fish fry. No simple words good food at lass price. I don't think they have different variety of meal. I think only rice and curry is the meal option. But you get variety of fish fry. Do come to this place.

Grab your seat n then set d journey for the fish fry.they do serve bit of rice n fish gravy.but don't count on it.just fish fish.super cheap.and very fresh.d kitchen n cleaning area is open and you can see stack of fresh fish. We done attack of 6 people and d bill came only for 1200.if I remember correctly.

The reviews and ratings speak of the great taste and value of this restaurant. It has a few variety of fish such as Seer, pomfret, sardines, etc and they are fry fish only. This is accompanied by boiled rice and fish gravy (coconut added) with little veggie curry and pickle. It's crowded and need to wait for our turn. But it's worth the wait. A must try for all fish lovers!

Best n fresh fish served hot directly on banana leaf. Simple and tasty meal also is served on the banana leaf. This is my must visit place whenever I visit Udupi.

So nice. I had two pomfret small and big then other two type of fish fry, one rice meal and butter milk. Total cost around 620. I enjoyed.

The fish fries here are unbelievable. The wait time is almost zero. There is no menu as such. It's a fish meal by default:) that's a different experience. You have choice between white rice and bold rice. You can choose fish curry or normal saaru. Unlimited rice at a fixed price! Then the fish. They keep bringing a platter of various fish fries for you to choose. You pay for what fish you eat. At least 3 or 4 types of fish, tava or rava fry. Enjoy!
