Lovely place with calm and homely ambience. Aunty is very friendly and courteous They have a variety of yummy homely food! We tried aloo paratha, veg momo, veg manchurian, caramel custard, mango shake, sabudana vada, coffee and dahi vada. Everything was very tasty and freshly made. The aloo parathas will definitely remind you of mummy k hath k parathe
Awesome place with soothing music for a peaceful evening with tasty punjabi food in Mysore must try. Good ambiance to chill out and had rajma chawal, aloo tikki.
Tina Mam is a go to person if u ever need tasty food in Mysore.
It was worst experience, i don't know why the owner lady is screaming at customers and it was not at all chill type behaviour it was terribly offensive like how would you feel if you been said "chal aage nikal be " chal Aage ja " " tere ko dikhta nai Hai kya be " these were the words when we were trying to chose from there menu, that old lady's behaviour was just the worst that i have ever experienced in my life.i hope this reaches to you and you understand that if you calling "beta (son) " to us then you should even understand that our mom calls us with love and not like you just did with us.i will make sure that i will never spoil my dinner and night again.a request be kind to all not everyone likes whatever you do.
Tina's cafe has been my home away from home. The soothing music, homely food, lovable hospitality.sometimes the best advise givers, when in need.is surely something to look forward for. The ambience is perfect for a good ginger lemon tea and a parota with a book or a group of friends. All a customer has to keep in mind is if the cafe is crowded (which it is.most of the time), you my friend are unlucky.go there another day for chilling out.but if in need for good home food.you are most welcome.
Awesome place for North Indian good. They have books to read and chess to play while u wait for ur food. Take away facility available. The owners are so friendly. A happening place in Gokulam.
Since I moved to Mysore 3years ago this was the first place where I have felt right at home. Calming incantations playing on the speaker, great food and excellent hospitality with a great ambience make this a total package. My very first experience here was so heartening that I will always remember it. I had been to the cafe for the very first time and I ran into a flat tire situation. My bike being a bullet made it an even worse situation. Uncle and his son I believe took every step to help me out Bec I had been there with my wife and kid and it was quite late too. Not only did the boy personally go looking for a mechanic but when he didn't find one booked a cab to take us back home. They also made space for me to park my bike on the curb right next to the restaurant window so I cud go back the next day and get it repaired. It was the most awarding experience for me at a restaurant. Hospitality aside the food is also absolutely wonderful. It gives you the perfect homely feeling and the prices are quite affordable too.
The cafe's ambience more attractive With monastery theme and it will create a very peace in our mind. Mysore me North wali food ki best feel karne ke liye Tina's Cafe ko Zaroor jana, khane ka zaika toh lajawab hai! Dhanyawad
Home is where MAA is. Thank you Tina's, for this very delicious and quality food.feels home with smiles everytime. Tea and talks are made for this great ambience there.it's juz beautiful?
Yesterday I went along with my one friend we both liked the set up of the cafe however after looking at the menu we did not order anything as we wanted to order soups n salad and I coulnt afford to have Baigan Ka bharta or Aallo shimla mirch ki sabzi as my stomach wasnt keeping well, so seeing us walking out without placing the order the lady suddenly became rude and said why no order and I said have stomach issue and she immediately said "u got to kbow that after entering the cafe". Which was extremely disrespectful. Thise who r into food business they need first learn that people eat as per their wish not as per yiur wish. Mysore has other very good eating joint plz go there instead of wasting time n money at Tinas Cafe.
Really great homely food with a dynamic menu. Looking for a great meal in Mysore without the frills and excess? Land up here and order anything. I thought it was a bit pricey for Mysore and the basic offerings. But it's good quality, no nonsense food. Would definitely go here again.
Thanks for your genuinity & kindness. I will visit ur cafe 1000times more. Enjoyed ur food. Keep up the good work. Our consciousness respects our soul when we are genuine.
Possibly the best food in this area, i like the simple menu and the vibrant color of this place sometimes it takes time to serve the food in peak times
Serves you homely food which is very yummy.you might find the owners a little rude sometimes, but it's all to do with us South Indians not being exposed to North Indians. At first I found it a little annoying. But been hanging out with my North Indian friends for so long now that I've become one of them!
First and foremost, as a person hailing from Mangalore, I've grown up eating boiled rice and after shifting to Mysore eating boiled rice has become a once in a blue moon thing. Although the brown rice Available here was not actually boiled rice, it was something different than the white rice I eat daily. The egg curry was good, the Aloo parota was nice and the buttermilk was refreshing. The service was very fast. All in all the food tasted like a home meal and they live up to their tagline of home cooked food.
You can eat food here again n again day in and day out and not worry about what is going into ur tummy. This is home made food but tastes better than home food
Quality of food is Disgusting. Not with the taste, But health wise its really disgusting. For young people it won't be a problem, as they will have good appetite. But for elderly people, be careful. Their food will trouble a lot, Especially if you have eaten it at night. Very hard to digest. Very hard to sleep.
Taste of home cooked North Indian food! Best in it's class! Loved the fact that it's run by generations!
The Food: •Dal fry is very good and so are the parathas, soft as home cooked.
•Best place if you are looking for a economical home cooked North Indian food!
•Check zomato, etc for menu;
•sweets/desserts are not the speciality here, so, do not expect it's best!
The place and Ambience: •The simple, basic yet striking interior designing goes along with the theme. And the open walls allows the cool natural breeze to hit you, and glad the roads are very less of traffic!
•Please also look for the had written note on the sofa dining table. Appreciate the wit if the owner for that!
Pts to Improve: •We would love if card payment is available, its only cash payment. Though, we thank the cashier/owner for taking Gpay when we were out of cash.
Tina's no services I like to call this cafe. While the food is ok and reasonably priced (neither special food nor cheap), the extraordinary lack of service is amazing.
Both of the ladies who work (own?) here have zero interest in providing customer service. In fact they seem zealous in their lack of it. "Your order is here" bellowed across the near empty cafe. Not once but three visits later, exactly the same interest in customer service.
I get the order here and pick it up process but such bellicose treatment of the people paying you? Apart from the fact that these ladies seemingly do very little, other than take the order at the counter, collect the cash, bellow out the meal arrival and wander out to straighten a napkin.
On my last visit, all of the above occurred plus both ladies plonked themselves down for lunch during the service period.
Quite a weird place. Three strikes Tina - you are out
