Located at UB city this Italian place has a great location with great vibes. The ambiance is very nice along with live music to make your evening lively. The food is as authentic as it can get as the place is run by an Italian, ofcourse with a bit of tweak for the local palate. Had the bruschetta to start with, for a change tried the one with soya and hummus. It tasted good but started to get a bit dry after some time. For mains had the shrimp pizza and it was very good. The pizza quality was very good, made traditional style. For dessert had the creme brulee and it was so good, yumm. I had a hibiscus iced tea too and it was refreshing. The outlet was full on the weekend. Service was good. Portion size is good and pricing is a bit on the higher side.
Ambiance - 5/5 Service - 4/5 Food Quality - 5/5 Taste - 4/5 Portion size - 4.5/5 Value for money - 4/5
This place is amazing everything is top notch, just Melo down on the lavender Mocktails essence is little too much, but overall it's a great place, Vikram was very polite and humble, thank you, @Toscano UB city Bangalore.
I had an great time at Toscano in UB City, Bangalore. The Chicken Harrisa Pizza and Alferdo pasta were really tasty, and I liked the Affogato Al Cafee. The Vanilla Creme Brulee dessert was a perfect end to the meal. The restaurant's service was nice, and so was the ambiance. If you're looking for yummy food and a nice place to eat, Toscano is a great choice!
An enjoyable lunch, enhanced by the location on the terrace of UB city and the weather. The food options are enjoyable. I particularly liked the calamari and prawn starter and the wild berries cheesecake.
The food was pretty good but they didnt do justice to the hot chocolate. The ambience was good, wasn't really crowded around the time we went. The service was quick but the food wasn't served that warm as it should. Another downside for me was that it's a little bit more on the expensive side so if you're planning to go there, I'd suggest you go in a group.
Toscano Restaurant (UB City Mall) in Vittal Mallya Road, Bangalore. Italian, Continental, European, Mediterranean, Health Food . Tasty food, good ambience and service but will definitely dent your wallet. Wide selection of wines and salads.
One super place to enjoy good food, never disappointing in terms of taste. Worth the money for sure. One start less due to the space here is small and crapmed, other Toscano's are spacious and have a nice ambience
Quite a nice place for lunch/dinner. Preferred for dinner since UB City is illuminated during the night time and all lights run at full capacity. Quality and taste of the food here is commendable. Have visited this twice in 2021, once in Jan and now in Aug and I must say that covid protocols are followed obediently here. All the cutlery and plates and sanitized and given in sealed covers for the customers to open it. Courteous and cooperative staff. Slightly on the expensive side but everything in UB City is expensive:). Overall, it's a very good place and one must definitely come here is visiting UB City!
Toscanos is by far my favorite Italian restaurant! The ambience, food and service is at another level and this is what keeps us going back regularly. They go the extra mile for birthdays, anniversaries and pretty much any special occasion. I still haven’t found a single thing that I don’t like on the menu.
Seeing that Toscano has great recommendations for Italian cuisine in Bangalore, we opted to visit Toscano, UB city. Food was amazing and of course, the service and ambience. Slightly on the expensive side but worth it. Although they have limited vegetarian options, the “funghi e carciofi trifoliate” made of sautéed mushrooms were delicious. It was served with burrata cheese stuffed with creamy stracciatella and it tasted wow! Highly recommend their tiramisu for dessert. The soup was not up to the mark, just average.
Toscano is one of the best Italian restaurant in town and they cannot go wrong with the food or the taste. It's only the staff that would make or break the experience of dining in the restaurant. The experience in UB City branch was not great initially as the staff seemed like they are not trained/well equipped to handle full capacity. The order seemed to have lost while punching it or had to be repeated. Received a red sauce pasta instead of pink and so on. Finally, they seemed to have got their act right.
The food was good. The staff was very polite and live music with food was just awesome. There are many outlets in Toscane. You can try any outlet nearest to you. Food quality is overall the same in everywhere I hope this information is helpful.
Awesome food. Good wine collection. A little too pricey though. The tables are set very close to each other and feels congested. 5 stars for food, drinks, menu options and service 3 stars for ambience and cost.
Nice outdoor ambiance within UB City. The staff is courteous and attentive, and service is prompt. The food is delicious, although it is a bit on the expensive side.
We had a chicken salad, garlic cheese bread, a specialty pizza and a prawn/steak dish. All the dishes were yum.
For a fine dining restaurant, Toscano has a large variety of options. As compared to similar fine dining restaurants, it's is relatively less pricey as well. I would definitely recommend it.
One of my favourite Italian restaurants in Bangalore. Great service and food quality. Decent options for vegetarians like myself. Consistent food throughout the years. Good job. Must try their chocolate kahlua mousse!
Always reliable for good Italian food. The staff are friendly and know their wines and food. They can also advise you on off menu items. A wee bit expensive, but worth it.
A nice place to spend an evening with drink and dine plan. They play a live band also. When you sit in this place it gives you a feel as if you are in a European country food street. They serve excellent pizza apart from other food stuff.
Food here is amazing. This is my favourite italian restaurant as of now in Bangalore. If you are a non-vegetarian try out the grill salmon with creamy sauce, highly recommended. They have a live band all through, which is also amazing. Service is little slow, which they make up with the food they serve. They serve complementary bread and pesto butter. On the expensive side of the pocket but it's worth it.
My trip to Bangalore recently was memorable due to many reasons. But the topmost is the metal at Toscano.
We went to the one in UB City. What a lovely place, great ambiance and beautiful weather to sit outdoors. The live band had such good singers. Avd they sang some great old numbers.
Let's come to the food.it was just outstanding.the flavors were so authentic. And lots to choose from for both veg and non-veg.
This is a lovely restaurant and the service is generally quite good. The location is really nice on sunny days or clear evenings. The food is always tasty. Definitely a consistently good meal
Great place for Italian food! Pastas are a must have, the service is good and really quick, pizzas are a tad bit too crisp and can do better in terms of sauce!
The food in this place is always amazing. Make sure to try out the desserts. That are super yummy. I would highly recommend the panacotta. Try to go for the buffet if you are not sure what to order. You will get to taste the variety. The service is very good here.
Toscano is an Italian restaurant in UB City. It has seating inside as well as outdoors shielded from the sun by umbrellas. The ambience is casual. The food here is quite consistent. The chicken scallopini is tasty. My friends ordered minestrone soup and the mixed seafood pasta which they enjoyed. For dessert we had the all time favourite which is chocolate Khalua mousse and the salted vanilla cheese cake which also good. Service was quick. Prices are on par with the other restaurants in UB City.
Ambience is kind of okie. Service is good but you'll have to be really clear while talking to the staff here. Food is bland, but I absolutely enjoyed because I'm a big fan of bland food. (Pizza Slice served as part of antipasti wasn't upto the mark) The wine was so amazing that it blew my mind (I haven't tasted Rosé earlier)
I can't wait to go back to this place and order the same amazing food!
Good italian food. Nice seating. Can get crowded so go well in time for lunch or dinner. Service is very slow and waiters have an attitide problem and gender bias. We were four women at a table and our waiter passed by several times - not once that I can dismiss it as inconsequential - while we were hailing him to attend to tables where men were hailing him. Management need to train the staff to do their job professionally, not on gender preferences.
Yummy Italian food, not so many options for vegetarian but not a disappointment. Pizza are great, tried a jalapeño started which should be tried by spicy lovers. The only place where I liked risotto. The complimentary bread and pesto butter makes me want to go back to this place.
Went to Toscano for a lunch with a couple of friends and we each ordered the three course menu. So got to try 9 dishes in all
1. One of the best antipasti for beef lovers. Beef Carpaccio - pesto crusted beef tenderloin slices with celery, gherkins, pommery mustard and rocket pesto.the beef is so thinly sliced that if you manage to pick it up straight you can see through it.
2. Chicken Caesar salad: they did not put parmesan on top but we're generous to give us a bottle of it to add according to taste.
3. Smoked Salmon Tartare with crunchy pickled cucumber, soft boiled egg, apple, caper berry and rocket salad, I loved this antipasti. The pickled cucumber was a delight.
4. Grilled Italian Pork Chorizo with mash potato, grilled veggies and pommery mustard. I loved the perfectly cooked pork sausages but the mashed potato was even better if I could say that.
5. Spice crusted basa is a great main course for one. Comes with crushed potatoes, vegetables and that delightful citrus butter sauce which accentuates the flavor of the fish.
6. Grilled Atlantic salmon with olive tapenade, vegetables, crushed potatoes and garlic caper mayonnaise. This was the star main course. The grill was perfect and the crust was yummy.
7. Chocolate Kahlua Mousse: superbly plated and such a delicious dessert after that great meal.
8. Tiramisu: the star of the lunch. It's the best one I have had in Bangalore.
9. Toffee brownie: with ice cream and fresh fruits on the side, this is a great option for brownie lovers.
All in all one of the best meals I have had in a while. Toscano continues to delight with it's food and desserts.
This place has a beautiful ambience set atop UB city and is reminiscent of customary European eat outs with a closed and open setting option as is preferred. The pizzas and pastas offer a further touch of authenticity. All in all makes for a classy outing!
This is an amazing place to eat authentic Italian food. The service is top of the line. The open air restaurant has a decent view. The prices are slightly on the expensive side but you really can't complain because the quality of food they serve is just amazing. The desserts are a must try. It just gives completes meal and gives you an immense sense of satisfaction. Only drawback was the size of the table. Four people cannot sit comfortably and share the table.
