Treebo Trend Vrindavan Coorg - Hotel in Coorg

Great location, large and neat rooms at an affordable price. Would recommend for others also.

We stayed at Vrindavan Coorg during our visit to Coorg. The thing about Coorg is all the view points are located far away from one another. Vrindavan is located centrally along the junction about 2 km from Madikeri town. Famous view points like Raja's seat, Abbe falls, Mandalpatti view point, Coffee plantation etc.are located within 3-8 km from Vrindavan. Also the stay was very comfortable with 24*7 access to hot water. There are lot of nice flowers and trees planted all around which add to the beauty. Parking space for vehicles is available. Our car was all dusty after a drive from bangalore, so asked for a bucket full of water to the receptionist and he happily obliged. Now coming to the most important point - Food. The breakfast is a simple fair but very very tasty. Its made by Owner's wife who wakes up at 4 am to make breakfast for all guests by herself. The idlis were super soft, the chutneys were on point and sambar was full of veggies and very delicious.really loved the food here. The service quality is good and rooms have all the facilities needed for a comfortable stay. There are 12 rooms in totality, so makes for a perfect stay even if you are in a big group. Complete value for money! We would highly recommend a stay here if you are in Coorg.

The location was just perfect! The flowers inside the property made the property look absolutely beautiful… the property is well maintained… however the rooms were not top notch, but was okayish and we enjoyed staying there. Food was okayish again but the staff was very generous and helpful throughout our stay.

Stay was very comfortable. Rooms are spacious. Service is prompt and Location is also perfect. All the major tourist places are near by to this Hotel. The owner of this hotel is very polite and provides good service. However, I found only one draw back, Geyser does not work and Geyser for me is a must have facility.

Here is my unvarnished assessment of my stay at the Treebo Trend Vrindavan Coorg.
I reserved a two-day stay. We arrived at the location at midday. The owner of the property was revealed to be the individual seated at the counter. He presented himself as retired Air Force officer Mr. Chinappa.
He carefully checked our Aadhar cards before giving us the room keys.
The rooms are roomy enough to fit the family. However, guests were not given any toiletries. We anticipated that the toiletries will be offered at a later period. It wasn't offered the entire time.

The morning breakfast's calibre falls short of expectations. On the first day, idli and bread toast were served for breakfast.
We requested more bread toast. They disputed it by stating that preparation would take time. My astonishment at their hospitality is immense.

Throughout the entire day, carpentry work was constantly in progress. Because it continued until 10: 30 p.m, we were unable to get a good night's sleep that day.

On the second day, we had planned to have an early start. We had informed the front desk to help us with an early breakfast.
On the following day, we were served 2 slices of toast per person and nothing more.
On our way out, my young child noticed the fruits and asked me if she could get some. Even before I could make a formal request, the front desk staff rudely said you ate bread no fruits will be provided. So much for breakfast included in the room charges.

Like mentioned in some other reviews - the food is unreasonably priced. A single omlette costs Rs 120.

The staff especially the front desk staff need to be instructed on being hospitable with the guests.
The staff members fear the owner because of his "money minded" attitude.

My stay at Treebo Trend Vrindavan Coorg, in a nutshell - an experience not worth remembering, not worth revisiting or recommending to anyone!

This hotel is at the entrance to Medikeri. The town market is some distance away. The hotel serves breakfast and if ordered in advance then dinner also. However, I must say the food is not delicious. The rooms are good, beds comfortable, room service is slow. The owner is a nice gentleman and lives next door. He makes it a point to meet all guests. If only the food could have been better, especially the coffee which is tasteless.

A very good experience.
1) There are 3 types of rooms starting from Rs. 3000 which seems reasonable for this kind of stay,
2) also one get to have Breakfast in a buffet manner - they got separate space which is really really good
3) staffs are friendly
4) Rooms are spacious & clean
5) Hot water - 24/7
6) good location with nice parking space as well
7) few more added Amenities
Overall a very satisfactory experience

Any planning to book rooms in Coorg, I would suggest this budget - friendly place. Because, the rooms here are big. By big I mean really big. You won't be feeling like staying in a hotel room. It's more like a 1BHK flat. With separate bedroom and living room with sofa and dining table.

The price was economic and the hosts were very polite and friendly. The Big Cup Cafe which is nearby to this place is also a great place to hangout and chill in the Evening.

I visited this place to see the rooms and arrangements.
Saw Super deluxe room which was very good.
Bought some fresh Avocados.straight from tree.
Location is good and they have good parking.
I did not stay as it was just a visit to check quality of acco which seemed to be quite good.

A nice place over looking the valley at top.fancy amenities might be lacking a bit but worth considering

We booked the whole hotel for a family get-together at Coorg. Breakfast was served hot. The restaurant is a cozy one with lots of plants around.
The terrace has the view of awesome sunsets. We had a bonfire night which was fun.

A very good place for staying. Well maintained and most positive thing is you will get fresh home cooked food every time.

Very average hotel.
No facilities compared to the prices they are charging.
No refrigerator in the room. No toiletries.
No security guard at the gate.
If you come late in the night you will have to wait outside and find the way to contact the property manager then he will come and open the gate.
Breakfast menu is very limited. No choices there too. Timing for breakfast is limited. I was informed that by 9: 15AM they would close. The person who was dealing with breakfast seemed very irritated that we finished our breakfast at 9: 45 AM!

NOT AT ALL A GOOD GESTURE.

As a staff of hotel you should be courteous, polite and patient to host the guest. I feel they should get professionally trained for hospitality. Expected a warm hospitality but it was lacking at all points. Except the room size everything is lacking and needs an improvement.

Paid 5K for disappointment!

Room was ok we didn't get hot even if we switbed on 30 minutes earlier to go for bath room rent was little higher, Appaih was friendly & atmosphere was good owener was caring.

The room was clean. The toilet door did not close properly. No toiletries/extras other than drinking water. Not value for money as I paid 8900 for a single night's stay.
The food was ok in general but the breakfast was not at all good.
Premises were well maintained with a lot of flowering plants and there was a cafe in proximity.

Located just outside of Madikeri town, it is quite and pleasant stay. The top floor offer some view.

The rooms were clean and well maintained. The food was fresh and tasty. There is enough car parking space for 6 or 7 cars.

The issue that we faced however was Treebo promised top floor room with view for which we already paid 50% advance but the hotel said it's only on availability basis at that point of time and they cannot guarantee any rooms. We had to take a room in the ground floor for 1 night out of 3 nights and shifted to top floor the next day. It's really confusing as a customer that Treebo says one thing but in reality it is different. The coordination between Treebo and the hotels need to improve to provide better service.

Another issue is that the bedrooms in suite rooms do not have locks. When traveling with friends or multiple families, it is going to really difficult as someone need to guard the bedroom room if they is a need.

Wonderful experience and stay at Treebo Trend Vrindavan.
Wonderful staff, good hygiene, clean rooms and a common area and bathroom.
Common area set ups are really nice, Coorg cuisine is surely a must try.
The place has an ample amount of parking space.
Has a terrace with a beautiful 360 view of the hills, sunset and also a blanket of Stars at night.
They have sound and mic arrangements and an open area to even play cricket or football.
Polite and cooperative staff.
A preferred choice if you are coming for a vacation to Coorg.

A good place with an apt location. However the washrooms in the room need a repair. Shower was broken, cupboard in the washroom was broken. Otherwise a good place with spacious rooms and breakfast included rate.

Good property with great surroundings of trees and mist. We visited during the rains in August and the location of this hotel definitely made our vacations great. However, it is far from city area and you will not find anything nearby late evenings so make your arrangements accordingly. There is a cafe nearby which you can visit (good one).

Breakfast options can be improved. Since it was cold, heating could have helped.

This is more of a homestay run by a family.

Positives- Property location is on the main road, rooms are clean and neat.

Negatives- Breakfast is very basic and limited idly, dosa, bread&jam
food cost is very high.

I have a Tourister driver from is not respect but to drivers not responsible food is not give it first or respect the drivers

I had booked two mahogany rooms. There is no view from the rooms alloted to me. However they were very neat and clean. Staff barring one is polite and responsive. Owner is a gentlemen humble and all ears to feedback.

We loved the homely food but it is suggested that phulka instead of readymade chapathis may kindly be provided.

Really great experience, there was very tasty homemade breakfast in the morning and very clean and tidy rooms with clean bathrooms. The staff were very polite and easy to approach they helped us with all our needs. The owner of the hotel is a very kind and nice man. Overall an amazing hotel and experience, i will surely stay here again when visiting coorg.

Been to Coorg in the 2nd week of July and trust me this place is one of the best places to stay in Madikeri. Not too expensive, very courteous and helpful staff, very clean rooms and yummy food. Just go for it!

Treebo Vrindhavan is a lovely place to stay with friendly people from the staff to the owner. The ambience makes u feel at home yet in a boutique hotel. An amalgamation of homestay n hotel. Located very close to all the tourists spots n hence commuting is easy from this place to other tourist areas
Rooms are very spacious and clean. Couch, dining table, kettle, chocolates n dry fruits are chargeable. Every room comes with a balcony.
Food doesn't have much variety but was delicious. We had chappathi that was so soft and chicken curry for dinner that's a must try. Need to order food earlier so that u get it on time which they inform upon check in.
Buffet style breakfast was good.
Best place to stay if u plan to visit the nearby places as the place doesn't have much recreational activities.

Worst hotel ever visited, Iam a regular traveler, booked this hotel by its reviews and images. Personally after checked in and got cancelled as I had a worst experience, the hotel does not have any scenic view, remotely located no stores or even any commute, food is very expensive and by saying home made food it's unhygenically prepared. These guys will spoil your vacation, recommend not to go anytime. The rooms does not have ventilation and because of that, the rooms are in dampness and smelly. I will give them big zero star. The Manager does not give proper response too.

Treebo Vrindavan was a pleasant surprise, definitely exceeded my expectations (bring a last minute booking).
The vibe is somewhere between a homestay & a boutique hotel.
Location - is excellent, right by the highway, hardly 10 minutes from the town & a Cafe right next to it.
Room - was spacious & clean, got a premium room on the ground floor, right next to the reception, which shared a small porch with another room, had a sitting room with a single bed & a separate bedroom (great for a family of 4 with grown-up kids).
Food - buffet style breakfast, was simple but tasty (not much variety though, but that is to be expected with the homestay vibe)
Service - friendly & accommodating. We had no issues during our 1 night stay.

All in all, an excellent stay, pretty good value for money. Definitely a place I'd consider staying again.

The place is easy to spot when coming from Bangalore - it's behind The Big Cup café.

The room was amazing, the food was good, and the staff, polite. The only con is that outside food is not allowed.

We came from Bangalore, we took the Asian Express bus which dropped us just in front of the hotel. The property is really nice, all the rooms are really cleaned and spacious. The owner is a retired airforce person, and he is a polite guy! Not only the rooms, the food was home cooked food which was way better than unhygienic food outside the hotel. Overall loved the stay! ️

The property is at a very accessible location hardly 5 kms away from madikeri bus stand and city.

Property is located a really nice location. Bipin sir superb host.rooms are rally clean and comforting. Just the disappointing part was no air conditioners were working.

The suits are excellent and spacious. We booked two, for my family. Home made food was excellent. Owner of the property takes personal interest in the services offered to customers. I recommend others to go for this accommodation. My vote is 100%. Staff was equally good. Thank you Mr and Mrs Chinnappa for making us comfortable.

Really nice and quiet property which is beautifully maintained. The owner is ex airforce and hence the discipline reflects in the over all maintenance. Rooms are big and spacious with clean and well lit bathroom. Wifi is available too. Really enjoyed the hospitality and stay here.

Stay was expensive as the rooms are not even equipped with AC. Provided bath towels may be belonging to a decade old.

This was a ideal property for our group of 6 adults. Though they didn't have a full fledged running kitchen there was no issue staying here. Breakfast was with limited options however whatever was the spread it was very good. Swiggy works here so u can order anything u want from available 10-12 restaurants. Staff here is very very friendly and always happy to help. Rooms are spacious and well maintained. Cleaning service was top notch.

I opted for Treebo Vrindavan (Feb 2020) based on online reviews and it was one of the best decisions. The stay is in a prime location, takes less than 10mins travel by car for raja's seat / raja's tomb and less than 20mins for Abby falls. Very well maintained property (rooms were really neat, drinking water availability car parking space and mainly wall hangings which you must stop and read) and the staff were really helpful.

Coming on to food, i am a vegetarian and it was very homely. Breakfast had options and was delicious. Example, if it was dosa, it was homemade and oil levels were perfect and poha/lemon rice with right amount of groundnuts were tasty. Even lunch and dinner had options and taste. Curd rice (rich in pomegranate) is a must try.

We had to change our room on the first day as it was terrible, full of insects and doors didn’t shut. The second room was not upto the mark. It was very dirty, the bed linens were stinking and the door of the bathroom did not shut.
Though the service was fast and breakfast was good, I hope the feedback is appreciated for future guests.

Wonderful stay.neat rooms.a guy with funk hair in reception is rude. Customer service point of view I'll give 2 stars only.food here but costly.and with help Domino's pizza and swiggy we avoided holes in our packets;)

Nice calm surrounding, clean place with all basic requirements. They serve great home cooked food for dinner and breakfast. Do find some time to spend with the retired armed forces official owner of the the place Mr. Chinappa.

The best part is the home cooked food. And the premium room where I stayed was awesome. Big parking area. Mandalapatti junction and Abbey falls are not far away.

I have paid premium price for mid December booking. Though place is generally good I dint feel value for money. Some of the issues were like no hot water. Common in a cold place like Coorg you cannot provide a service shortfall of this kind. Also staff was not very warm and welcoming unlike the owner. My driver also wasn't taken care of for his meal request. Menu options can get better. Extra bedding charged is just an old mattress which you cannot rely on a good night sleep. You want all members of Ur family nicely relaxed while touring, don't you. Breakfast was good.

One of the best Homestay Cottages. Clean and peaceful ambience. Only Homemade food are served and taste is totally good.

It's ok for a short stay. The hotel's nothing out of this world but the rooms are spacious and comfortable. Very neat and clean. They provide a basic buffet breakfast. The open area with garden and sitting area is very pleasant. It's a good budget hotel.

The service and the rooms were excellent. There is no need to scavenger for a good restaurant in town as local delicacies are freshly served for breakfast every morning. Above all, the staff was friendly, accommodating, and ever ready to assist. Perfect location for a family getaway!

The price is too exorbitant for what it offers.it was about 5500 for a night. The owner and staff were not very friendly.service is pathetic. They say there was free wholesome breakfast, but the truth is the food variety and quantity was very limited and also not that tasty. There was no AC in the room unlike how they showed in the room pics on the website. Only the room and its cleanliness was good. Wifi also is available.

We have stayed in hotels with less than half this hotels price with much better breakfast, hospitality, and service

Why I called it Home Stay!
Although you will get all Amenities in this Hotel.
Big room, ample space, very friendly owner. Who each morning come to break fast area and interact each individual.
Foods are also AWASOME.specially for small children.since foods are homemade.
Point to be noted.as per standard hotel ongoing Restaurant, same facility is not there partially.
Kitchen is there.you will get all your requirements as per menu.only in evening within 7-8 pm you have tell your requirements to hotel.else you may face problem.
But adjacent many Big Hotel and restaurants is there.
So in one words as per location, facilities, behavior, and as per Price I will prefer this hotel.
