The clinic, located in a convenient and accessible location in 1st floor, offered a warm and welcoming atmosphere from the moment I stepped in. From the friendly staff to the modern and clean facilities, it was clear that patient comfort was a top priority.
However, the true highlight of my experience was my interaction with Dr. Praveen Mathew. Not only was Doctor highly knowledgeable and experienced in the field of gastronology, but their genuine care for their patients was evident throughout our consultation. Dr. Praveen mathew took the time to listen attentively to my concerns, asking detailed questions to fully understand my medical history and symptoms.

I got HPhylori bacteria. I consulted many doctors and completed 2 sets of courses but still it was positive again in the breath test and then I consulted Dr. Praveen mathew for the issues, given limited set of tablets. HPhylori bacteria came negative and I'm all good.

Maybe a good doctor with pathetic system, not courteous at all, the receptionist says that we have to book appointment through their own website or Practo … inspite of doing a booking well in advance, they said that the booking was not valid and inspite the patient was suffering the doctor stood and literally was arguing about the booking … booking and money is not everything, I think humanity is above all … I don’t recommend keeping my past experiences… I read your response, I was unable to get an appointment on your website, which I have shared the screenshots of the same with your receptionist and also I showed it you also the previous day when we met you, then your receptionist advised to book on Practo, and lo is the result what happened … inspite of me requesting the lady that I just want to show the reports which was done by your pathologist, the lady was reluctant in allowing us to meet you, I am sure it would have taken you not more than 3-4 minutes to read the report and advise, kindly check your cameras, we went and requested her more than 3 times and she made us wait … the previous day it was an emergency and obviously we could book any slot or have an appointment, inspite of that the receptionist made us wait till all the patients could finish their consultation… though the patient was vomiting profusely we were made to wait for more than half an hour, I under appointment is important, but emergencies should be considered… there is where humanity comes in place and overrules an appointment or booking … then next day when an appointment was taken, you have your own fancies Atari g it is not valid … kindly learn to treat your patients with some courtesy and humanity especially when there is an emergency… I am sure as a doctor you have taken an oath for it … if not correct me …
Dr. Praveen Mathew is the best Gastroenterologist. He took up my case while my health was in bad condition, and set it right in no time. It’s been more than 10 years, I have been seeing him.
There is no looking back afterwards, I would recommend him for any gastro issues.
The doctor is always busy. Hardly takes 5 mins to explain the issue and treatment and chases out. No respect to patients who have completed colonoscopy, they are made to wait hours before consultation. Try to understand a patients trouble after undergoing colonoscopy, you can't simply make them wait 1 hour so you can complete other consultations.per visit cost 800 and that's also useless. Not even a 5 mins conversation to talk about our health problem. Now I'm looking for good doctor who really cares the patient health not money minded.
I had been suffering on and off with various acidity related issues. I consulted Dr Praveen who advised some blood tests and endoscopy. Once i got the results he explained what the issue was and put me on medication. Dr Praveen is one of those few doctors who actually listens patiently to all your questions and issues and puts the patient at ease before explaining and prescribing medication. After two months of treatment i feel so much better. Im happy with the treatment and advice given by Dr Praveen. Highly recommended.
We recently had a wonderful experience with Dr Praveen Mathew. We had consulted Dr Praveen regarding a underlying issue that had been pestering my wife for many years but unfortunately unable to find the root cause. Recently this has issue been causing incrementally complicated symptoms affecting overall quality of life. To begin with, the appointment process online was smooth via the website and staff has been courteous throughout. The clinic was elegantly designed and well maintained which gave good first impression. Doctor was patient and empathetic to hear the symptoms in the first sitting. He also very patiently probed many years of symptom to eliminate other possibilites and finally managed to zero in on the root cause. His prescriptions had a quick and positive impact to the patient giving all of us a great relief and further trust his approach. In the succeeding consultations he validated his findings using multiple clinical approaches. He provided just minimal required medication to resolve the issue which was really good. In the process he not only confirmed and even proactively looked for further complications that could arise due to the underlying condition (in the hope of catching and treating it early, if such a thing happened but luckily we didn't have proceed in that route). During the whole process he also kept us patiently updated his approach. Overall I can undoubtedly say that Mr. Praveen's outstanding diagnostic capability, perseverance, patience, patient friendly approach, his approach of combining vast experience with modern technical procedures makes him truly outstanding Gastro and a trusted person to go for any gastric related issue.
I went for consultation after my symptom of stomach ache subsided. Doctor wrote 5 kind of tests, which all came expectedly normal, it felt unnecessary and expensive compared to others.
Would not recommend here for consultation if symptom is not severe or resolved. Staffs are professional.
First visited at evening, without much waiting consulted the doctor and then doctor asked us to come at morning with empty stomach for endoscope test.
Reached by 8: 30am and test done quickly. Now to handover the report and consultation we had to wait for 2+ hrs. Until all patients endoscope tests are done, doctor not giving reports. This is bad.doctor should clearly communicate this to patients. So that we will plan accordingly. Receptionist simply says wait for 20 mins doctor will come and we have been waited without breakfast also as we might miss the doctor.
Nearby staying people, can easily leave after endoscope and can come at evening for reports and consultation. But for people coming from long, traveling in Bangalore traffic is very dificult.
Interaction with the doctor is good, but he suggests blood tests and endoscopies too soon, and the prices are exorbitant. And doctor consultations is 700, which is very expensive; even in large hospitals, they charge 500, but prices are extremely high.

Best Gastroenterologist available in the city. Dr Praveen M.do treatment after required test to make sure the treatment he will give is for correct diseases. All I can say that he saving people’s life and making them healthy with the correct treatment. He is not like others who just don’t listen the patients carefully, he explains very nicely and then describe the treatment.
Thanks doctor for the treatment I got and many more patients getting, all are in safe hands and I read some comments about price I can say that it’s much cheaper than those big corporate hospitals which see patients as customer.

I Opted to consult Dr after multiple feedbacks. Dr was very caring and systematic. He did not recommend any diagnostic test initially and only one test when it was probably necessary. I was very satisfied with his interaction, patience, frankness and above all treatment.
Went to this clinic for severe gastric pain for my wife. She was crying out in severe pain, doctor consulted and recommended for gall bladder removal surgery the next day. To remediate the pain, he suggested for an injection. (Pan 40 inj. Pretty common injection for gastric). But we had to go to a near by hospital to take that injection. That hospital was 5 mins walk. I was carrying an infant and she was crying out and not able to walk.
I have never seen a doctor who doesn't help a crying patient with an injection.
We went to homeopathy after this incident and she is doing fine for almost 1 year now (without any surgery)
I had been for jaundice and hepatitis consultation. Dr. Praveen Matthew was very humble and kind. He explained us in very simple way to understand. I always recommend this doctor for gastroenterology and liver clinic. I think the staff (reception and nurse) can improve their response and approach. I think no need to take appointment because we will be still sent in que after reaching. I suggest if clinic can use straight needle and tube for blood collection instead of syringe, as it would easier.

Dr Praveen is a good doctor. I visited his clinic in 2018-19 for endoscopy. My interaction was good and found him personable. The office staff was prompt and friendly; however I did not feel directions were clearly explained for endoscopy. I think they could improve in this area as far as explaining what meds can be taken for other issues and general directions for procedure. I believe they conveyed the same in a brief and hurried manner. The nurses at the center were friendly but not as helpful as they could have been. Partially because of the the workload and a distraction called gossip. They did not do a follow up after the procedure to see how I was doing. Even Dr Praveen asked me to get the consultation for the findings of the endoscopy later that day. Professionally & pragmatically, he was right but from the perspective of the idea of their existence and the culture where we all were taught in calling them the God, I expected more. I believe, a good and caring doctor could always share the findings in a brief manner just like the operators of ultrasound. Mostly, the operators of ultrasound don't shy away from their opinion & help you out with the findings. Expected the same from the doctor.

After a very long time, there was a pleasent experience with Dr. Praveen.we have consulted him for my sister in law's severe stomach pain issue. This was going on for almost a very long time. Dr. Praveen had a very short, crisp and essential conversation in explaining the issue and there was a very quick initial diagnosis post which we were suggested to take some tests. We took the tests and the initial medicine (which worked in getting the pain issue close). However, the test results indicated easophagitis.
Yes, the tests, medicines and the consultation is definitely costly compared to many other gastroenterology consultants. But i think those were definitely required for the diagnosis.
Dr. Praveen you are losing 1 star based on the unnecessary waiting time that we spend at the hospital despite of booking an appointment prior. Kindly look into that as most of the patients plan their day according to their appointments. (Walk ins are preferred - despite of no presence of emergency or elder patients).
Very pathetic appointment system and reception. Took appointment yesterday, waited for 2.5 hrs even after booking appointment. 5 minutes before appointment time receptionist called and told dr is late fr 1 hr. By that time we were almost reached clinic. We told the doctor also the issue. The dr told our profession is like this, can get late as if other professions are not having value of time. Every profession and job will have value of time. They should respect that. Instead of arguing they can be little soft and apologetic for their mistake of jot able to follow appointment time. Today also booked appointment, again delay of one hour. If they are allowing walk in appointments priority then why they are giving appointments in advance.
No use of taking appointment here, you have to wait many hours even after having appointment, There website DOESNOT OPEN AT ALL. Staff is not at all Good at anything They donot have any Network inside to even to make a call, when asked to Connect with The wifi just to book the Cab, She LIED telling "WE DONOT HAVE ANY WIFI HERE ", But After searching nearby Network, it was MENTIONED "TRINITY " In one of the WIFI network, then the receptionist told They Can not provide it to me, They are not at all friendly and they make every step Difficult For the Patient, From TAKING THE APPOINTMENT TILL LEAVING THAT PLACE. I approached for simple issue which is starting stage of piles for that he took blood test and charged 3k for testing. Also, he told he has to colonoscopy or sigmoidoscopy which he will decide after the blood test results he get.
First think as doctor he should touch patient and verify manully and this doctor doesn't have that minimum sense may be in his MBBS teaching they haven't teach him.
I just followed basic diet and i was alright in just one week.

Best doctor, does tests like blood, x-ray and scans to accurately diagnose the disease and then start treatment unlike majority of doctors who starts treatment with assumptions. Highly recommended for the accuracy of diagnosis and structured treatment protocol. Thanks a lot doctor.
There is no point in making an appointment via the website. I came twice on time but the receptionist tells me I have to wait because 4 patients are in front of you. And when I looked at the registration book, I saw that whoever comes first gets first. No coordination by the receptionist. The question is what is the point of making an appointment in advance. I ask the doctor to look into this matter. My overall rating for the doctor is 8/10, and my rating for the service provided by the staff is 3/10.
Dr Praveen Mathew is awesome doctor ever I have met. I have met him for GERD (acid reflux) problem and he has given very good medications and explained my problem very clearly. I am happy and healthy now and I strongly recommend this doctor.
