The pictures you see on apps are enticing. The guy who responds to your call (Deepak) promises the moon & even throws in a big discount if dealt directly, bypassing the aggregater. You imagine a great place at a decent price.
You land there after a tiring road drive & reality starts breaking your heart, one thing at a time. At 12 noon, the room feels like an oven. Reason? To increase number of beds, they have no false ceiling under old-style tiles which absorbs all the sun & radiates heat into the room. To fight that heat, there is a ceiling fan which makes a huge sound & directs hot air into your already boiling head. Oh yes, there's a pedestal fan also to distribute the heat across the room. You call the sweet talking Deepak for some solution & his response hits you harder than the heat. He says, 'don't blame us for nature's problems'. If we were not tired & sleepy after a 6 hour ride, we would have left that very instance. We decided to spend the afternoon & night there & drive back the next day. But the ordeal wasn't yet over. Every few hours, there were power cuts & the caretakers were unreachable to switch on the generator. After a lousy sleep, we packed our bags & escaped this rotting piece of property being sold as a slice of heaven.
I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with my recent stay at your hotel. While the rooms were okay, the food was very poor, and the vegetarian options were particularly bad. Additionally, I found the hotel manager to be very arrogant and lacking in hospitality.
You promised activities, but when asked about them, you denied their existence. To make matters worse, there was a power cut from 10: 30pm to 6: 30am, which made it impossible for us to use our laptops or even turn on a fan to combat the mosquitoes in the room. This is not the kind of hospitality that one expects from a home stay, and it is especially unacceptable given the exorbitant cost of 52,500 rupees.
I hope that you will take my feedback into consideration and make the necessary improvements to ensure that future guests do not have a similar experience.
