Turtle Pond

Not recommended for friends outing.since you cannot play music as it close to other neigbours and they get disturbed easily with noice, part form that it's good for Family or some one not like parting, realy tasty food, and good care takers and great location.

Fiive years back when I went there was so wonderful, but now I regret the condition is so horrible. Hygiene and cleanliness is the thing of the past

Good hospitality, food was awesome, staffs are so friendly and helpful, Girish prepared very yummy and delicious Kerala style food, Loved it! It's a great home stay in Kutta and it is well maintained, beautiful place and hut to relax, situated in the middle of the coffee estate, it is away from all the noise and bustle, incredibly beautiful/quiet/peaceful place, coffee plantation/nature view from hut was stunning, overall great experience and highly recommend this home stay.

We visited this place in Feb 2019 as a group of friends. Firstly the good points.
The property is located inside a coffee estate like many other 'stays' in vicinity and away from nearby town called Kutta. Hence the place offers hot an extremely peaceful, clean and a relaxed environment.
The rooms are clean and maintained well, the high point being 'hut' which is uniquely designed using wooden and mat materials.
Food provided was good but not great (will come to it later).
Points which we as a group were disappointing are
1) there is no indicators anywhere to direct us from the main road to the place. Not event one name board showing directions. Due to poor Internet quality (only Airtel works) we couldn't even take maps for aid.
2) The price offered on website says it includes only Breakfast and Lunch/Dinner but a day before we landed we were asked to arrange for Lunch outside. This is fine but you need a car always at your disposal to drive to Kutta
3) The range of food offered was very limited unlike in most resorts and home stays where 2-3 options are available. On day 1 only Idli and Puttu were provided with Chutney and Chickpea curry. No sambar. The food was adequate and not great. Chickpea was half cooked and when we have feedback, the caretaker said 'No, its cooked well".
On day 2, only poori was prepared.
For ₹4500 per room, we found the food was very minimal and could be improved.
To conclude, we enjoyed the peace and tranquility of the place, but nothing beyond.

Great place away from the bustle of the city. Quiet surrounds. Calming sunset from the bench near the pond. Excellent food cooked by the caretaker Girish.

Nice little unorthodox place to stay.and the food provided in house is good. Would surely recommend to visit. Just try contacting them and booking as you might pay more if you book through hotel booking aggregators.

Beautiful place. Very nice hosts. Rooms are spacious and clean. Different style cottages. Food is amazing. Especially fish curry was awesome. Neer dosa for breakfast was also too good. Around Pond is a nice place to sit and spend some quality time.
