UCPE Stadium

It was a nice place to workout and jog bcoz of mud which is good for knees but from past few days they are totally restricting entry to public. They shud have atleast let public use certain time at morning and evening.

Bosch Bidadi hosted our annual Cricket Tournament in the UCPE stadium. Well organised and University staff very supportive with the infrastructure. We were also able to put up our breakfast and lunch stalls next to the pavilion for Boschlers who participated in the event.
Only hitch was that we had to use the restrooms in the neighbouring Sports block, as the stadium’s washrooms were locked.

This place is now closed for public I wish they open for public hope everyone talks abt this for a healthy life

Really big ground and it feels like a home turf when I'm working out here. You get that push mentally when you see other high level athletes working out and it sort of helps to push ourselves too. I hope they continue to keep it open for public as there definitely isn't a single stadium in bangalore that's as well maintained and big as this one.

Nice place for morning jog, run, workout.
Surrounded by greenary. All playgrounds are there including swimming pool.
Peaceful area.

Best place for walk and jogging. Clean air and good atmosphere. However, the only concern is it is very very crowded! Avoid the place in peak workout hours or you need to explore the area to know less crowded roads within the campus

In the weekend the crowd is very high.
Good refresh during the weekdays.
Walking and cycling is recommended.

Well managed 400 Mr (circle) ground, with audiance view, with vollyball, kabbadi, long jump, courts are available,

One of the best place to jog around in nature, with plenty of trees keeps mind fresh n u love breathing in that environment

Good ground for practise. But it is not allowed for public all the time. Only limited time entry for public, otherwise ground is good

Wonderful place, What a nature,
who can't possible to walk, he can run here. Beautiful ground and super set up.

Need bit more amenities like water and restroom then it would be the best UCPE Ground in the surrounding.

To say just in a sentence, it is an inspiring playground. I am going here from past 2 years. I was not serious about fitness before but from when I started going here, I became fitness freak. Here you can see everyone from kids to elder people. Anyone coming here can get inspired from the University students. There is a basketball ground, 400m running track, Long jump court, high jump court, kho kho court, in the middle you can play cricket, football and even there is a gym. Swimming pool is also there but it is not free. In the stadium you can do yogasana. The University campus is so peaceful. There won't be any traffic. You can bring your kids here. And this is the safest ground for kids as there won't be crowd. The ground is so big. Here I am attaching few video clips to show the ground and stadium.

Nice place to jog and we had hired this ground for our office cricket tournament couple of times. Please avoid this place as of now as there is covid center (hospital) very close by.

This place is in Bangalore University premises. Open to all. You can find people of different ages exercising here the age group that can be found is from 4 to 70.

A really good place with greener scenery to enjoy with good air quality.

Best ground for jogging and walking. Public is allowed it's an open ground for all. Long jump bed is available. Swimming pool is very close to it.

Good one compared to many government run places. Government grants can be used completely. Maintenance needs to improve.

Not maintainedproperly by authorities, green cover has come down drastically. Authorities can make watering properly to maintain green cover around the play ground. But anyway excepecting anything by govt is waste.

Play ground will be given for the Educational institutions and corporate company to organize the sports based on the priority.

Need to contact the Dept of Physical Education near the ground for booking and permissions.
