Udupi Garden Fine Dine Restaurant and Party Hall

Staff behaviour is very bad, the atmosphere and location is pretty good. Food is not up to the mark. Probably doesn't deserve the cost.

Food quality is OK. The price is also affordable. This restaurant is just like any other traditional South Indian Bangalore-based restaurant, i.e, like other Darshini's. But cooking master, not that much, Higine, and he wiped his face with his bare hand and touched the food while cooking. It means we are having food along with his sweat. This has been seen while Dosa Master prepares the dosa, and I have informed the case counter. If they maintain healthy (Higine) conditions, then the place is good, and there is good parking space as well.

Worst hygeine maintained here, tea cups worser than roadside vendors.

Great seating - outdoor plus indoors. Very wide menu here. Food and meals spot on. Right opposite to Sri Ravi Shankar Ashram entrance. Large parking space.

One of the newer places in kanakapura road, the place has a pleasant ambience and good vegetarian food.

Also has good parking place which makes it an ideal stop for breakfasts or evening snacks.

Yesterday, I had the misfortune of dining at Udupi Garden, and I cannot find enough words to express my disgust and disappointment. It was, without a doubt, the worst dining experience of my life. And I must say, it was an absolute nightmare from start to finish.

From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by a strong and nauseating odour that seemed to permeate every inch of the establishment. It was clear that cleanliness was not a priority here. I walked in for dinner with my daughter past 10.30 pm and ordered a Veg fried rice and Ghee rice, which was the only food available on the menu as they were about to close.

As we were waiting for the food at the open kitchen (self-service) counter, I could see the chef preparing the food, the chef asked one of the "cleaners" who was mopping and cleaning the floor, to come and take out the rice from the wok as the quantity of the rice he added to the wok was wrong. To my surprise, the cleaner just left the mop and started to take out the rice with his filthy hands.

When I questioned this cleaner's act, the reply was even more shocking! "This is what you could expect when you walk in for dinner at the closing time"

Even though they prepared and brought new food, to make matters worse, my daughter found a hair in her plate halfway through the meal, which only served to confirm my suspicions about the restaurant's lack of cleanliness and attention to detail. At that point, we couldn't stomach another bite and left the food there and left.

In all my years of dining out, I have never encountered such a flagrant disregard for basic hygiene and food safety standards. It's clear that Udupi Garden has no intention of providing a pleasant dining experience for its customers. I strongly advise anyone considering dining here to think twice and choose a more reputable and clean establishment. Your health and taste buds deserve better than this abysmal excuse for a restaurant.

Great dining experience in all the times visited. Plenty of options available for dining and almost all food items are yummy.

Food is too tasty, the ambiance is great, has a huge parking space.
Prices are comparatively bit costly.
Try Panner and baby corn Manchurian, Diff Dose.

Loved our meal here. Everything was good, but menthi pulav was out of this world and masala rava dosa was out of this universe

One of the best vegetarian restaurants on the Kanakpura road. We have visited over the weekend during our long drive and this is situated near Art Of Living. Awesome food, great parking space, they have both self service and service area, friendly staff, quick service. Highly recommended
