Good food, good place. Self service, you get old school types feeling, they don't have card or upi payments too. Dosa is prepared only with ghee no oil used even to potsto palya.
Request the Owner to improve the basic infrastructure, provide better seating facilities on the first floor and relocate the existing hand wash both on the ground floor and the first floor.
One of my favorite eateries and I'm regular here BUT my assumption of hygiene here took a U-turn when i found a dead cockroach in lemon rice. Though they offered me to take anything for free (which i refused) but the impression about this place started fading. Go here but be conscious while eating
This is the best place to have a fried, podi dosa in Bengaluru. For maximum enjoyment, don't get it parcelled. The coffee is average but nothing beats the dosa. Parking is always a challenge however
Finger lickin goooooood. Take Any dosa with podi (THE MAGIC INGREDIENT) which will be showered with ghee ghee and lots of ghee. You have to try this no matter what. Must try: onion podi dosa, podi masala dosa
Very tasty food one which I have hear they use ghee for dosa which I like very much and podi dosa and the price is also affordable usually it's very crowded when I went They only serve breakfast nothing then breakfast they serve must try ghee pudi masala dosa with bath.
The 'Masala dosa' is pricier than Bangalore's most popular eatiries like CTR/Vidyarthi Bhavan, but it satisfies your craving. The Idli's are pretty special here and a must try. This eatery serves only chutneys unlike many other restaurant in Bangalore where you also get sambar along with the chutney.
The best pudi masala dose. Pudi masala dose here is to die for, it is prepared with ghee and they add chutney powder (pudi) instead of masala chutney. Regular masala dose, ghee idli and pudi idli are great here. As usual, filter coffee is great too.
Must visit and try the masala podi dosa and onion utthapam. Their idlis are the softest I have had till now. Please note you need to stand and eat and they do not offer sambaar. Just 2 varieties or chutney.
If you're from Bangalore you must try this place If you're visiting Bangalore you must also visit here to get an authentic dosa that is super crisp and made in pure ghee.
The Pudi Masale Dose here is LOVE! Trust me when I say that, this place provides the best Pudi Masale Dose in Bengaluru. This is one of those few places where they use Ghee instead of Vegetable oil or Butter for preparing Dosa, that is what I enjoyed about this place. A bit expensive compared to most of the places I've been to. Although, the chutney here is one of the best.
Idli (butter feel or Mallige) and Dosa (crisp) are of superb taste served with ghee, regular Lunch Curd rice and lemon are mouth watering Hygienic and served in Banana pressed plates
Awesome place to get some lip smacking South Indian delicacies. Must try the super soft ghee idlis and dosas and to conclude with a hot cup of coffee ️
This place needs no introduction as it has established itself as one of the best places for Dose in Bengaluru. From a small outlet they have moved to this big place including table service.
The Dose is always crisp and drenched in ghee. It is served with two types of chutneys and we love the regular one than the tomato chutney (red). They also serve hot Idlies, rice baths and Gulab jamoon.
The place is always crowded especially after 8pm so plan your visit accordingly! If you haven't tried this place yet then make sure you visit soon! #BurpOutLoudly
Open from morning 7-8am till night. Not sure if it's open during noon though. If you want something different. Try onion pudi masala dosa. People from North can try tea as well.
Pros - parking available for Car n bikes. Cons - stand and eat outery.
Pudi dosas and Idli are the best items available here. Nothing remarkable about other places. Plenty of parking space. No seating, though. Cashier and other soft must try to be more polite. They should start accepting Card and UPI payments.
Their Podi masala Dosas are simply amazing. This is one of the best dosa joints in Bangalore. Way better than many of the over hyped top dosa places that you would find in many articles. The dosas are hot and crisp with a slightly different taste. Definitely a must visit place.
The taste was okay, and the prices are very reasonable. Vehicle parking is not structured and the people who server food is not customer friendly and very arrogant.
Okay. Attitude of cashier is like he is distributing free food for poor and refugees. He is worst than revanna. He look young but very bad attitude. Okay u can have ur attitude at few places not in hotel where people come for food. It's like temple for hungry people. Learning is important for many people.
Umesh dosa is probably one of the best dosa place in Bangalore. People should try it's onion dosa or pudi dosa.it is amazing.then u have the idlis which are always hot with generous amount of ghee on it. It is melt in the mouth. Please try these. U will have a very different experience
Average taste with a lot of hype. They prepare things in ghee.but taste doesn’t mean to pout lot of ghee on dishes. Although tea is good here. In this digital era they still accept only cash that is sometimes irritating.
Try tindi in Ammas Bramhin cafe just behind Umesh. You will love it.
Very Nice place for dosa and idly lovers. Hygienically prepared with good hospitality (Especially Sridhar Anna). Freshly prepared Food is available till 11: 30 in night. Amazing place for family too.
, very delicious value for money allso I also perfect if anyone go with this road have to eat the food near once, the dish chitrana is awesome dosa is also awesome the food taste is awesome awesome awesome just awesome
The podi masala dosa is amazing, I think it's because of the ghee and the crispyness along with the awesome chutney. Also try the vada, very crisp and like a peice of art). Belonging to Bangalore, I can comfortably say this is the best in the city
Very popular for south Indian delicacies. You will find the restaurant always crowded. Masala dosa is the best here. Served with ghee and tasty chutney. The place is very small and hence people prefer to take food and eat in their cars
