I visited the balmata branch today, was served by a person named Rajesh Amin, they are charging more than standard rates for INR Exchange to USD among other exchanges in the city, after doing the exchange here i just checked with Thomas Cook in Mangalore, came to know they offered better prices, definitely call them and find out you'll come to know the difference in the rates or check the site. I ended up paying 636rs more by visiting this branch today for 150$ exchange just cause i went in person and the person said he's offering the best rates and i believed which was clearly not the case. Dont go by largely positive reviews about this place, they are mostly deceiving. Since they are clearly not competitive and are using different false methods to charge more, in my case the person told 300rs as GST in addition to the exchange rate which was extraordinarily higher but didn't handover the invoice after the exchange and later after multiple follow up emails and calls he sent the invoice in the evening and the amount was put as handling charges in the invoice. This clearly shows they are not transparent in the charges levied.
