Was very excited as the meal started off but it lost steam quickly. Could have had more variety and speciality dishes without much effort.

Atmosphere was too crowded and loud. Since we went there ona public holiday, it was too crowded and noisy to make my head ache.
Though the food and service was great, couldn't enjoy it.
Planning to visit on a normal day.

Car parking was a breeze earlier. However, now, it seems to be a pain point as no one at the restaurant seems to be taking responsibility

Since it was Saturday, we can expect a wait for entry and get the slot.
The food was tasty and had Verity in it as expected.

A good South Indian restaurant.

If you are going by 2 wheeler, you will get ample parking space. For 4 wheelers, you can park in near by main road and walk.

Food was good, the cost is Rs 220/- including GST.

Service is quick but wait time is more.

Had visited this place couple of times and always the taste used to be good. But this time it was below average and didn't like it.

Dine with family is nice but all talking like fish market.

Very small Rooms Not maintained well.

Bugs and Cockroaches will come out after evening from the old furniture.

Didn’t expect UD to be such a big scam. Visiting this place after 5yrs thanks to nostalgia!

Asked twice before ordering grilled cheese and they insisted it’s the same taste as the past! The cooks were talking and barely interested in preparing the dishes. They did not even add a single strand of cheese on a freaking grilled cheese sandwich. The cook showed butter and says that is cheese. Upon questioning further he says they are out of cheese!

This place is such a scam for selling us something without a main ingredient. After making a big scene, they returned back my money but we left the place on a sad note. Never again coming back to this scam restaurant or recommending this to anyone I know of.

Cool Joint is still the best sandwich shop to go. Don’t go by nostalgia and get cheated in UD

The food is acceptable but the cost is expensive but the barjari oota is worth it and place is clean and the comfort is also quite better that few other places it could have been better if it wasn't that expensive I would have rated a 4

Bharjari Oota was amazing and very filling. It was a perfect mix of North Indian Food and South Indian food with Chinese Soup to begin with. They gave us multiple options to choose from including Kai Holige or Bele Holige and we could ask for as many Masala Dosas and Chapatis as we want. Very filling and in the end we could ask for an Ice Cream outside from some available options.
Would definitely recommend a visit with the family.

Nice hotel with both dining and lodge facilities available. It's famous for south indian VEG unlimited meals. North Indian dishes also very good. Usually very crowded during the weekend. Weekdays are not much rush will be there. Can spend sometime relaxing while having food. Hospitality from staff is good.

Good place. South Indian meal at 190 is a good offer. Other options are also available. Being a residential area, sufficient parking space for the vehicles. Taste wise I do not see any difference when compared to the Gandhi bazaar outlet.

Bharjari oota was completely underwhelming. You have to collect your ice cream from downstairs after you eat. That seemed weird and unnecessary. Why can't they just serve it like every other restaurant. Very disappointing.

It's a typical out & out south Indian thali, which is unlimited. The ambience is ok but always very crowded. If you are looking for fine dining this is not the place.
To start with they serve a sweet dish made of wheat & jaggery which is okay. The soup served in a chai cup puts one off from enjoying it. It's looks like gulping. Small dosa which is served is delicious. The curries are okay. The rice with rasam is better than the sambar. To end with curd rice is served. All in all food is worth the money spent.
They do have manchurians & north Indian cuisine. There are better restaurants in the visinity where you can enjoy better.
Service is good, apt and people are polite.

This review is just based on the "bharjari oota" meals and nothing else.

For just ₹150 (now I think the price is 20/- higher), you get literally every possible dish related to South Indian meals which is also unlimited.

The hygiene is equivalent to its competitor (kamat restaurants). The service is also top notch with very attentive waiters.

Overall, you just can't expect anything more than what they offer at just ₹150 which definitely makes a highly recommended place for a vegetarian South Indian meals.

Must try unlimited meals here. Homely food and when I say unlimited every item in this meal is unlimited. Whereas some hotels provides only rice as unlimited also this is included with a ice cream when you come out. You will also have to wait for your turn in the peak time.

Good restaurant. Barjaari Oota is the traditional Karnataka meals which they provide. Everybody should try at least once. They also serve North Indian and Chinese cuisine

Agreed it is the epitome of Karnataka cuisine with a varied number of dishes served in the meal. But I ask where is the taste? How much of it can you actually savour when the place is so cramped up and you have waiters breathing down your necks and serving you like express trains and people waiting for tables standing right next to you.

RECOMMENDED ONLY FOR THOSE WHO HAS HIGH PATIENCE LEVEL. Because wait time is too much. You can't really enjoy the meal and eat.beacuse too much rush and people are waiting in Q.taste of the food is not really great but for 150 Rps you will get unlimited food.

After the meals, serving ice cream was not hygienic because he was

serving with bare hand after touching his mouth and nose. We complained to manager. They must use hand glows

Our bitter experience here has made us to conclude that it deserves only one star. All because of arrogant behaviour of one of the staff members which spoiled our entire party on that day. Wake up UD management last you will lose many customers like us.

What amazing food. Delicious, filling and delicious again. All at a price that is superb giving the ultimate value for money.

Decent service, poor quality food (unhygienic).

Prefer not to say more here, but the restaurant needs to be way more serious about the quality and freshness of their food and be considerate of the health of their customers.

This is a hygiene and a taste review for the restaurant. The food in the restaurant was great, really good taste and great in terms of hygiene, folks serving used plastic gloves.

However outside at the softee ice-cream corner it was a completely different experience. The person serving the softee ice-cream used bare hands, kept dipping his hands in the cones all over and no one cared! Complained to the manager and he was pretty useless, reason according to him for not using was apparently the cone would slip! Absolutely ridiculous. People all over the world use gloves and this is general hygiene that should taken very seriously at this restaurant.

Appeal to food inspection agency and restaurant management to take action for softee ice-cream outside.

This place has buffet system. Most of the dishes were good.not as tasty as expected could have been better. The palav and other rice items were not that tasty. But the highlight of the buffet were the mini dosas!

The food and ambience is purely paavam.
Bharjari oota is their draw in special meal. Place is hygienic and food is pretty good nonetheless

The Place is Fantastic. Just amazing.
Bharjari oota option is totally worth it. You should try it. Unlimited food for an amount of 170/-rupees.
Plus the ambience is good.
Mouth watering Dosa's and Chapathi. Service is also good. And it is well Maintained. Seems to be a new place in town.

Terrible experience. Beware of the crook at the cash counter. If you are not attentive he wouldn't mind billing you twice for the food you eat. Recently visited with a group of 6 n I didn't realise our food was already paid for and after finishing the lunch when I enquired the person at the counter if anyone in the group had already paid for the food he convincingly said NO and took my credit card payment. Fortunately the other person in the group was curious n asked me what I was doing and when I told them I'm making the payment I got to know that it was already paid for. When we confronted the guy asking why he said that it was not paid for he gave a lame excuse saying that he thought that I belonged to a different group when there were only 6 of us hovering near the billing counter.

As name itself suggest food was awesome. Varieties of dishes for 150rs and complementary is cone ice cream.

Lovely and tasty food at reasonable price. You will have to wait a long and parking problem for cars, especially on Sundays and holidays. Overall good.

Phew! My first visit.it was indeed a bharjari oota on the banana leaf. Coming from UD, you should know the quality. The quantity isn't something to complain about either. Stomach full and more at a price of just 150. They do serve a-lá-carté as well!

Worst service. No care behaviour.
Sweet corn was full of starch with HARD starch cake in the soup. Asked the server, but no care. Don't even consider this restaurant in Gandhi bazaar.

Good restaurant for vegetarian food. Bharjari oota is an option which is good and includes many food varieties like obbattu, chitranna, pulav, pulka, curries, raita, sambar, rasam and also icecream for dessert. Meal is served on plantain leaf. Nice meal. Other vegetarian dishes are also available ala carte.

Excellent place, the place is more famous for the Bharjari Oota, meals served on the plaintain leaf in a traditionl manner during Lunch and Dinner.

If you ever in mood to have big India marriage food, don't wait for a marriage, just come over here. Pineapple gojju, my favourite)
