Entire thing is a scam. They promise high paying jobs at the end of the programme, but when we complete the programme, they say that this wont fetch us any jobs. Absolute daylight robbery.

Making fool they will take 15k without giving clarification about loan and emi for their expensive program and once you find that and want to cancel they will deduct 10k as cancellation charges.
I had experience and even 5k not returned yet i am planning to go on this address next Monday then only they will give refund.

My experience with upgrad is disappointing
After i payed the immression money, non of thier employees responded to calls or emails you feel like its a fraud.

Please be aware of them. I was scammed 20000 by their so called terms and conditions.
I wanted to know more about study abroad. I was contacted by one of their counselor called Akanksha. I wanted more information so called in for a Google meet. On Google meet i was joined by a manager named Abhishek both these people were sharing the screen and showing and explaining other things while I was seeing all these they sent a offer letter with terms and conditions. They were guiding me to pay 25000 as block amount i was continuously asking them for 2 hours time to pay. While on the call were someone is sharing the screen and showing you something how do we read the offer letter in detail? Which is sent to your mail. They don't speak anything about their terms and conditions on the call
Then they were like if you pay now we will give you discount of 30000 immediately and also the seats might get filled. These words are used to lure the candidates.
I paid 25000 and the call was ended, i got the invoice as well, i felt something bad and checked their reviews and other company details. Everywhere I found i was about to get cheated, immediately within 25 minutes of the call being ended or the payment i went back and asked them to cancel my admission. For which a manager named Jashbir was trying to convince to continue the course. I was very clear with cancellation he informed that 15000 will be deducted and 10000 will be refunded back. And asked me to wait till next day 5 pm.
He didn't call or follow up, i called him where he stated that he spoke with higher officials who said complete refund is not possible even if it is 25 minutes and asked me to mail the refunds team.
I mailed the refunds team, a person called Atif called and said 10000 will be deducted as the processing fees and 15000 will be refunded back.
I was very clear in going legally to get back my complete hard earned money of 25000.
I mailed the co founders Mayank and Ronnie, and other higher authorities and grievance. All were trying to say terms and conditions rather than addressing customers grievance.
Point to be noted — 1) They will send the offer letter with terms and conditions while your on call. You will not be able to read
2) They will use words as discounts and seats will get filled
3) Once you pay the amount we should run behind them
4) Who charges 20000 as processing fees? Even banks and other Edutech companies don't charge such hefty amounts.
5) They will never refund your complete amount for sure
6) Even the co founders and higher authorities are least bothered
7) Multiple people gave the wrong processing fees amounts to me. Which clearly shows this company is run by less professional people. When they can make a mistake that's ok but when we just pay and get back to them stating i would like to cancel they will question you like why didn't you read the terms and conditions before you pay, it's your mistake
8) As a consumer I'm paying 20000 as processing fees so I'm bound to know what was processed in 25 minutes or what hard work was done by them to charge that amount. To which they will state it's internal process.
*** Guys note if you pay any amount they are going to loot stating terms and conditions.
In my case they deducted 20000 out of 25000 and gave me only 5000
Guys please don't ever pay any amount with these guys.

Upgrad is a company that will harass you 24/7 with their constant marketing calls. Just because I did one ML Masters course with them 2019-2021, they think they have bought me and can bug me all day with marketing calls. Highly irresponsible and unethical company

It's a fraud institute, untill you pay money they follow up promptly, after that it's a disaster.courses are highly unorganised, course content not worth the money.

Unresponsive team which gives no reply/solution to tech or other issues faced by students. Just there to take the fee and forget about the rest

So repeatedly calling and texting for their prog. This is completely annoying. So rude and really pathetic. I regret myself to register account with this upgrad. (feel like they should change to downgrad)

This is the best learning platform so far that I could personally find in India as of today's date. It is great to see the support that we get from the mentors also the options and opportunities that we get to choose our personal interest in a particular subject could be the best for the one who seeks. They will charge lakhs together for their program's where you will not get any proper knowledge, waste of money.
Without proper knowledge I took the course I wasted nearly 3lakhs I will be feeling sad all the time for this decision and I made my friends to join the course now they poking me, they are also feeling the same, other friends joined the course in normal institute for just 30k they get placed with good knowledge

Big CHEATERS. The fees are way high compared to others and they play at the end to not to give even a certificate by telling some hidden terms and conditions.

Not at all designed for WORKING professionals. They will cheat you by hardly giving time for submitting your assignments. Finally you will end up with not even a mere certificate and loosing your hard earned money.

After 2 months of deducting EMI from my account, Upgrad informs me that Im not eligible for the course!

Its been 2 months, Im fighting to get my refund, I have sent multiple Emails, called support team multiple times, admission counsellor is nowhere helping me, he has stopped picking up my calls!

My money is getting deducted every month and still no resolution from upgrad!

This situation is giving my parents anxiety and mental torture, as its not a small amount.

I request Upgrad team to kindly stop torturing me and refund my money.

Upgrad is good With respect the PGDiploma course on Data Science. The content is well structured.
Pros for PGDDS:
- Well structured
- Mentor helping you with schedules and topics
- Content quality is basic and good.

Cons for MS:
- No structure
- Poor or No communication
- Vague topic selection/mentor assistance
- No placement. Just time wasting webinars.

In short: If you look for knowledge take up the course on PGDip. I wont recommend MS

Till you do your admission they will keep calling you even in midnight once your done with your admission if you have any doubts or any issues you wont be able to reach them nobody will be bother to pick the calls very much unprofessional by this employee name Shrishti Singh.

Typical Indian fraud company making money by fooling people. At the end of the course they will make sure you will not get any assured certificate by siting their fraud terms and conditions.

Really NOT designed for individuals from non coding background, they get you signed up by saying many things and later its not what you were told. Their pace is wayyyyy to high and the courses are for individuals who already have knowledge or some basic experience in coding. Strongly suggest that people who DO NOT have coding experience not to sign up. You will struggle struggle every week as the entire week you will be trying to find answers on your own. One student mentor is assigned to 150-200 people.

Simply they will create zoomala for the students who shown interest their courses, and there courses fees was so much expensive than other online learning platform

Got the right counseling done, helped me to chose the best suitable program as per my work experience and profile. A smooth journey till now. Absolutely loving it.

Extremely disappointed. I had a very bad experience here and still hoping someone from the team will follow up and try to help me out. I mentioned to my counselor multiple times that i really dont want to lose money, but yet I managed to lose 10k. Nothing is communicated properly. My counselor forced me to pay 10k immediately and i did so believing him over a month before my course.by the time the actual EMI amount was disclosed, i realized that it was over my budget, mainly due to the pandemic times when money is a bit difficult.
I decided to drop out for now and start the batch after 3 months so i can save up a bit more for my course.i apologized for the inconvenience and asked my counselor if i can study and opt for the module that i was eligible for within the 10k that I paid and get the certificate.
He then tells me that I needed to complete it before the start of the course. I dont understand why nothing is communicated in advance. I have told him this many times. I also dont understand how I needed to complete the course before the start date, when the modules weren't even available.the entire time that i communicated with the counselor was irritating.when i had queries, he would tell me he has meetings lined up and couldn't talk.when he wanted me to pay/start some process he would pester me non stop.i also tried raising multiple tickets to resolve my issue, but the tickets would get closed without contacting me.howeved, the mentor i was assigned was very sweet and helpful and the person finance team was understanding and efficient.

They are offering great courses tied with many universities around the world. Customer support have been upgraded. Very much recommended for career building and getting job, salry hike, growth.

The lady who was a Councellor over there, whose name was Simran. She has so much of attitude. She is not professional in the way of dealing with us. As a Councellor, she is very poor at English speaking skills and also in writing skills. Please make a note.

Better apply through edx where u will find international universities like Harvard University, these are fake and fraudulent people and never responding after they took money.
Edx is reputed and they provide 90% discount on all courses.

It;s a fake institute. They are taking your money and handing-over to film stars to promote these courses. This lockdown they increase their sales and hired lot's of marketing guys for direct sales. They are now calling and disturbing you if you visit their webpages for any enquiry. Please don't join such institute who promote film starts to sale courses. Very very slow management, most of the authorities are on leave half the time. Very late response and least responsible management. Dont waste your time and money with this institution.

UPGRAD is totally a waste of time and money.they say your initial money is refundable within 30 working days, but it takes more than 60 days.and they blame BITS PILANI for it.very arrogant administration team.and when you realize the truth and apply for refund, you will be deducted with 10K and you get 10K calls as well convincing you to take up the course.

Upgrad is highly commercial firm that somehow managed to get rights for using brand names of a couple of popular tier 1 colleges in India. But do not be fooled by this. The quality of education is bad and the content does not match up to that of coursera or udacity or for that matter even udemy. I will not go as far as to say that this is a fraud company. But will definitely say it is close to being one.

Fake information provided by the staff.
1- no mentor is ever offered.
2- pre-recorded content is provided where a bit of study material would b provided and then far higher level of questions are asked.
3- Blocks your hardly earned money (1-3 lakh approx) and there is no option to terminate the course, once you get to know the reality of the course.
4- no real time help and lot of mis guidance by the staff just to take money out from your pocket.
5- Upgrad is just boasting and extracting money in name of IIIB. They won't teach you anything of the required level and directly put you through the assessments.

I have enrolled in their Data science program and till now the program and the program support has been excellent. Have high hopes of making an effective career change with the help of their placement support.

I am enrolled for Post Graduate Diploma in Data Science course of Upgrad & IIITB and it's a remarkable learning experience so far. The course structure is good and provides solid foundation to data science. For Architect level 14+ experienced in software development person like me its a worth experience. Hopefully I will also get placed with some data science projects in some better organization after the course ends.

As a working professional and a student of Data Science course (PGDDS) at UpGrad-IIITB, I feel Upgrad is doing a good job wrt the course content, intuitive learning platform and live lectures all along the way as part of the course. Best thing about the overall experience is it is completely online and comes close to in-class room learning experience. There are improvement areas (platform glitches, need to speed up refund processes and so on) for sure but UpGrad is open to feedback and suggestions. Special mention to dedicated student mentors who are approachable and guide students at every step with reminders and helps get answers to most of student's queries. The course fee is on a higher side and can be lowered to be competitive in the market.
