Hi, writing this as we wrap up a weekend stay at the property with family.

Location - Gmap location is precise. It's about 20 min, by car, from Virajpet town. The gate of the property is on the Main road so no accessibility issues. It's not a thoroughfare so all you will hear are mostly sounds of nature, with the occasional two/four wheeler passing by.

Property - lovely property, well maintained. It has two parts - Main villa has 3 bedrooms with attached bathrooms, a living room, a courtyard, dining room with family heirloom. Other part has 2 rooms on the first floor with a balcony and a beautiful plantation view.
It's simple and yet tastefully done. Pictures on the wall show the family history of the Prakash family who own it.
You can walk around the plantation and also see the 100year old heritage mud cottage, which has been beautifully restored.
The owner was kind to check on us during our stay and also recommend nearby places to visit.
Network - thankfully none to help you disconnect from the world. The place has good WiFi incase you need to connect.
Service - the caretaker and her husband are a warm couple. Always smiling and willing to serve. Rooms were clean, sheets/linen spotless and ironed. Good/comfy mattress and pillow. Rooms are airy and cheerful.
Food - simple and yet tasty south Indian vegetarian fare.
Overall - a great place to unwind with your loved ones. In the lap of nature.

Excellent family vacation Spot. When we visited the coffee flowers were in bloom and it smelt of Jasmine. Also a 110yr old bungalow is available for stay. Veg food was excellent and the staff very friendly and guided us well. Highly recommended homestay, fat away from the city

This enchanting place is one of my best and choicest places I ever stayed. "Marvelous" is the only world which comes to my mind to describe this place. This property has two blocks, we stayed in the the main villa which consists of 3 big rooms with attached bathrooms, a living room and a common dinning area. The living is well furnished with comfortable sofas and a large screen tv. The balcony gives you a picturesque view of small hills covered with green vegetation and tall Supari/Areca-nut trees. The rooms are very neat and clean, the beds are very cozy, large cupboards are there to stack your clothing. The place is very secured and safe for couples and families since it is equipped with CCTV cameras. I must thank Mr. Mridhul who is a great host and a wonderful person, who lets us to check-in a bit earlier. Shanti who takes care of the property is a very courteous gentle lady who prepared tasty breakfast for us. I liked the Puttu with lentils and the Pooris they were very tasty.

As the name suggests, it is in the middle of coffee plantation - managed by the owner as a legacy cofee estate since a long time. It is hygienic, very well maintained and gives a proper Coorg vibe!
The caretaker is very polite and the food is homely too:) Would recommend this absolutely amazing stay for anyone in Coorg, but since this is not exactly at the centre of the city, it'd be better if you have your own vehicle to travel around.

I stayed with my family over the weekend, you need to inform them about food in advance. I felt the tariff was a little higher as we had to pay for the food additionally. They should have offered it as a package, typically like other homestays. The rooms were neat and clean. Food was good, my parents like they had proper home food for lunch and dinner. I'll recommend this place only if you want to spend time on the property, because any attraction you want to visit is far, min of one hour drive. Mobile signals were weak, they had BSNL Wi-Fi if I remember correctly but that had weak signal too.

Place was awesome but you need to check with the staff about the electricity and other stuffs.

We stayed there for 3 nights and 4 days,

1st night No electricity No Wifi And No Mobile Signals (they don’t have control on this) we stayed in completely darkness,

2nd Night No electricity No Wifi And No Mobile Signals (they don’t have control on this) we stayed in completely darkness,

3rd night we got electricity and we were able to see the night view of the house,

Please make sure all these things before you pay them,

For anybody who wants a quiet stay, closer to treks, falls and the like, this is the perfect place. The rooms are clean and cozy, the food (need to let them know about food preferences but it's all homely and tasty) is great and the views from the rooms are breathtaking. From booking to checkout, the host as well as the caretaker were warm and available for anything we needed. We really enjoyed ourselves!

Serene location, beautiful stay, chirping of birds all around, secluded yet safe property.what else to ask for a peaceful vacation! Amidst a 60 acre property where there is no external interference. Taking a walk around the property in the early morning hours was so refreshing. We couldn’t complete our stroll unfortunately as there was no trail post certain point. It was pouring down when we reached there and loved that moody vibe. But then soon it was cleared off and we were welcomed with a magnificent rainbow. How cool is that! The caretaker was friendly and courteous and the food was good too. Iddalies were a bit on the harder side though. We were not very keen on sight seeing as that was not our primary agenda. But there is a waterfall in 8km and a peak adjacent to it. Dubarre park is close by too. Overall it was a nice experience n we would definitely recommend this.

So silent and a feel like living in nature. Hospitality of folks taking care, Ambience of the place and estate all is very Good. A good place to spend time with your family and enjoy your time there without TV, Phone and all modernity. Don't worry you have 24 hrs internet. Drive from estate to any location to visit is around a hour and drive itself covers lots of nature view. A definite place to stay

This was such a lovely homestay in every way. They overlook coffee plantations, with a 150 year old house tucked into a quiet and serene corner. Fit to visit both for families and groups of friends alike! The food is home cooked and absolutely amazing. The main house is well kept, clean and organized. The help available is helpful and non-interfering. So many stars at night! Find them on Airbnb for a great weekend getaway.

Visited this beautiful home stay in November 2019. The home is located amidst a serene coffee plantation and a great place to unwind for a few days away from hustle and bustle of city life. We stayed in the 2 bedroom villa. The rooms were spacious and clean with comfy beds. The bathrooms got geysers. The caretakers were very courteous and made delicious home cooked meals. They also took us for a short trek inside the plantation which was great. Most of the popular tourist attractions are an hour drive from here.

By far the best stay and 'the experience' I had in Coorg area. This is not exactly on the high's of Coorg but you will see the high's around especially in rainy season it's an amazing views around. The estate has a big bangalow and 2 more cotteges. We (3 families - 6 adults and 4 kids) stayed for 3 nights and regretted our trip is short to enjoy the place more. Food is awesome and care taker is very kind. Estate owner is very responsive and we booked it through AirBnb.

Simply fascinating! I booked this homestay through AirBnb and it was worth it for a 3 day vacation. Located in the green coffee estate, this place is full of greenary, magnificent views and helps you to have a me time. They provide breakfast for free but lunch nd dinner are charged. The food is cooked in hygienic manner and the caretaker is really courteous. A wonderful property to stay with your friends or family.

Simply fantastic.homely, cosy, friendly ambience, peaceful, picturesque, clean with yummy food (sometimes made to order).
would like to visit again.although movement of any sort is not possible without private transport.which pinches pockets.

The best decision of a stay I've ever made!
We booked the 2 rooms with a balcony view of the coffee estate, and I must say the mornings were splendid. We woke up to the sound of crickets and birds chirping and energised ourselves with the in-house best filter coffee ever. The food served by them were homely and much to our liking. Loved the special Coorgi Mango curry prepared as per our request.
The caretaker is a couple who were very friendly and helpful, who made our stay even more enjoyable.
The driver as recommended by the owner was very friendly and he made our trips in and around very much pleasant.
We were so enchanted by the place that we were even considering renting a vacation home there.
I'd recommend this place if you need some solace amidst nature with pure, homely food available with nice amenities.
Internet or mobile service is an issue there but we happily forgot about our phones while being at The Vaishnavi Estate.
Can't wait to go back!

Mridhul's place is definitely 1 of the best places to stay in Coorg. Proper amenities. Great hosts. Staffs were too proper. Always at your service. The best part? Ambience. A view you would remember for life.
Cons: Insects in the room enter if the doors remain open and the bugs hav bitten and swollen us up. Without mosquito and insect repellants its hard to sit and enjoy post 6pm.
1 more thing which we have also informed Mridhul is to have few wine glasses in stock. We dint njoy wine without them.

Our stay at Vaishnavi Estate was the best part of our trip to Coorg. It is a gem of a place an hour away from Madikeri. The lush green plantations transport you to a different world altogether. It is also a great place to listen to and watch various species of birds. Listening to our very own concert from various birds was an unforgettable experience. The care takers were also very kind and helpful. We had dinner at the estate on the nights during our stay and it was absolutely delicious and just the way it is made at home. The host was very prompt in communication and very helpful. We received practical tips and suggestions that made planning our trip quite easy. Would love to go back and also recommend it to others wanting a relaxing getaway in Coorg.

Booked this place for a day through Airbnb. It looked amazing in the pics uploaded on the app. This was our first stay on our visit to Coorg.

It's a little difficult to locate as GPS to this place is not accurate yet and it's also far away from the main area.
We followed the instructions given by the host but still went ahead from the place by about 4 kms, after asking a few locals we reached here.

The moment we entered the estate, we forgot all the trouble taken to arrive here, such was the beauty of this place. Surrounded by lush green trees, this homestay made us feel that we made the right decision by booking this in advance and our vacation was on the right track.

Rooms were neat, clean and tidy with all the necessary amenities. Surprisingly, they had a working Wifi. The balcony had an ideal swing placed at one corner and a table-chair arrangement to keep your drinks and other stuff.

Homemade food is made to order for extra charges. And you have no other options in this remote area. This was like a blessing in disguise coz the food served was luscious.
The caretaker was friendly and provided us with whatever was needed.

We had a marvelous time here, partied through the night then to get up to the mesmerising flora.
