The worst hospital anyone could go in, doctors were just waiting to go home instead of treating the patients, i visited this hospital for a dog bite for a 2nd opinion about plastic surgery they incorrectly treated and stitched the dog bite, which caused more infection had to remove the stiches in CV Raman hospital when I went to take vaccine 2nd dose, now I have to go to another hospital for further treatment.

Doctors are trusted as they have been educated about decease and its proper treatment. But here in Victoria we lost our father due to negligence of the doctor who was treating. He had a liver abscess which was drained out and immediately discharged in couple of days with 4 days antibiotics. Neither the doctors spare time to let us know about the treatment which requires minimum of 4-6 weeks of treatment with antibiotics and under observation.
Request these human beings who are tagged as doctors not to play with lives in this manner as they are precious to one's family

Doctors are not reporting on time and they are working only 2 to 3 hours, Concern department kindly look into this

Full cheaters, from Victoria hospital they will call, they will tell vacancy is there you can do the payment like that, first they will ask 2500 for registration, next 6742 they will ask for verification, 9990 rupees for final list, this is the process of joining for staff nurse they will tell this every money will refund within half on hour like that, but it's not refund, they will do cheating, then they will tell, u will not pay means we will block your original documents, government will tell to pay penalty 50000, that's y u can pay now like that they will say, don't believe don't lost your money god will see this cheating one day they will see hell

One of the toughest places. Patients, old aged seniors, handicapped are now required to stand in que for long time to get stickers affixed in daily basis before going to any doctor. God knows why they want to harass public and waste thousands of tonnes of paper by imposing stickers. Hospital wants to remain stone age still. There is chance of missing doctors because more time wasted for stickers. The girls fixing stickers are dead slow to take 3 minutes per visiter. Concerned heads or officers should rethink on this dirty system of stickers for every revisit. Or reduce the standing times in que to maximum 5 minutes from the present 40 minutes.

Good environment.you can visit here for treatment without any consultation fees.staff and doctor behaviour are good.if you are bpl then your medicine charges also free. There is a facility of pm arogya Card.

My father was died midnight 1 o clock but they dint informed us. To make more bill next day afternoon when we fight with doctor then they said he died last night 1 o clock.

All most patients management take care by helpers (ayamas) they need not understood any thing apart from shout and also need not understood any other language execpt kannada and also don't no many people to read names of patients please take initiative for all these things by management.and also need proper guidence to at door step about all procedure of billing and all systems.treatment wise good but need to take more attention in emergency case no one concentrate these emergency people.also need to improve bed availablity and more easy procedure

Urology doctor told there is some issue will my urine track need to do cystoscopy so go to room no 4 and get the date for cystoscopy.but doctor in room no 4 is not ready to listen to what we say he directly said I cannot give any date for cystoscopy and he did not guide me when to come back he just walked away.they think has if they are doing any social service or they sell there grandparents property and spending money for paitent.

I would rate this as a third class hospital. Once when they admit the patient they would surely look deep and take good care but after the discharge none of the doctors would even care about you. Doctors are not even polite especially during the OPD hours. Worst hospitality services and poor doctors. These people keep only student doctors who are just new in work. Senior doctors won't be available at all times and no specialist doctors. Literally a cattle class hospital. Would admire the radiology department in Victoria centenary building and PMSSY building. Even the hospital has no system to handle patients and people need to stand hours together to consult a physician. Doctors think they are genuine. No proper wheelchair facilities and procedures here are just nightmare! Would suggest this hospital only for a stiff lads who can stand in que for hours together to consult a doctor. Only few doctors are polite. Like around out of 10 only 2 are polite and patient with the people. Got my second dose of vaccine from here. I got into the que around 7am. They started distributing the coupon around 9am as scheduled. No foul play and no unnecessary pushing and uproar. I Got my coupon. Received my vaccine within 10: 30-11am. They are giving both covishield and covaxin frist and second dose. 200 doses of each everyday.

Victoria Hospital is a cattle class hospital. It is not hospital but extension of K. R. Market. Worse, this hospital is trying hard to become Somalian or Ugandan or Eithiopian or an African hospital. Here's why:

Doctors, Professors, Associate Professors, physicians don't come on time. Most of them think patients are cattles and buffaloes. Lunch time is 1.00 pm - 2.00 pm. But for some doctors, lunch begins at 12.30 pm and it goes on till 03.00 p.m or even more. Patients wait for hours and hours.

Most of the doctors and physicians remain absent in OPD in afternoon. Accountability = 0.

The peons, nurse, staff behave like Medical Superintendents. Don't know what is the real Medical Superintendent is doing or hiding.

No phones work. By chance someone lift the phone, he/she doesn't know anything to guide patients. No sign boards within hospital premises indicating routes to different departments. Security at entry/exit harass like Hitler.

Complaints won't work here. No doctor/physician/peon is scared of complaints. Influence and power works here. Or else Chamchagiri works. You should call doctors and peons compulsorily and equally as "Sir" and "Madam", though none of them conferred the honour by Queen Elizabeth of UK.

Many doctors/physicians here are very proud to travel to USA, UK, Canada, Australia and Japan. They are proud to display their foreign degree in their cards. But they are totally incapable and incompetent to keep their own country's hospital like that in USA, UK, Canada, Australia and Japan.

These foreign degree doctors have kept this Victoria hospital like African hospital or cattle class hospital.

Education doesn't mean just degrees. Most of these doctors, Professors, Associate Professors, residents are "uneducated", they treat patients like animals. Their mindset is cattle class.

Not sure whether these doctors practice in private hospitals, because private hospitals in Bangalore are looting and money minting centres. No accountability. For such doctors and physicians, this hospital is just salary distributing center with zero accountability.

Bangalorians feel like they are in Somalia or Uganda or Africa inside this cattle class Victoria Hospital. You can experience the joy of being cattle class only in this hospital.

I am writing review regarding Covid vaccination drive, I got vaccinated in this hospital on 10th May 2021.
It was super quick, separate building where vaccination was done, not much crowd, my slot was at 2 pm, I reached around 1.30 pm, my slot was in 18+ category, it was very quick, within 5 minutes everything was done, we waited for some time in observation area after vaccination, that's it

Worst experience. So cruel people in the hospital. I understand situation is worst due to Corona. Why do you miscommunicate and ask us to come and wait for the body, when it's not possible. Waiting outside of hospital having health problems with out food, without water with kids in front of your hospital. When asked you will ask us to wait more so that body can be handed over to us. Finally you come saying body will be handed over to you by BBMP tomorrow. In this way Covid spreads 10 times faster due to the crowded people there. So it seems like not a hospital but covid and tension injecting center. Please avoid crowd, Manage properly. Communicate things
correctly properly to the public. Else things may go wrong 10 times worst than current situation.

I called the hospital to enquire about the COVID19 test results. It had been over 48 hours and the report was not uploaded. We wanted to travel within next 24 hours as the report will be valid in 72 hours time frame. I asked the receptionist to speak in Hindi/English as I did not know Kannada. She refused to talk in either of the languages and when requested to give the phone to someone who can help us, she disconnected the call. You are in a service sector where you ought to help people. The lady on the call kept on talking in Kannada and we had no choice but go through this misery.

My mom admited 15days. Doctor daily checked blood test. Every day new test told. Finally referred another hospital.

This rating is for gastro enterology department. My wife had Crohn's and nobody was able to identify it for three years. By chance we've visited Victoria and got the best treatment. Dr. Vinay is truly one of the gems we've ever come across in the doctor profession. We're thankful to him.

Never ever go to this hospital. Highly inexperienced, careless, negligent doctors are here. Kept going to this place for an injury for 2 months. It told me there is nothing to worry. They didn't even take an x-ray for an swollen hand and kept doing treatment for 2 months. Later injury got escalated as treatment was not proper and only way to cure was surgery: (. Such a traumatic hospital. Still fighting with the trauma. Never saw such a horrible government hospital in life. But surely karma will come back to those who did this.

A huge hospital in Bengaluru consisting of many a departments. Let me be frank that it's a government hospital, don't expect hi-fi services, patient satisfaction here. But undoubtedly, it's one of the best maintained hospitals in Bengaluru. I had been to the Dental department here and was thrilled and appeased with the service of the house surgeons, the volume of the dental chairs, the well maintained, sanitised building. The prices are too cheaper, if you don't have the free services (being offered for SC, ST and BPL card holders). It's just RS. 10 for registration, RS. 20 for removing the tooth, RS. 50 for dental cleaning. Everyone can hope to avail the treatment. But reach the hospital by 9 am to complete all your check ups.

Victoria Hospital is a government run hospital affiliated with Bangalore Medical College now renamed Bangalore Medical College and Research Institute. It is the largest hospital in Bangalore,  India. Started by Shri Krishnaraja Wodeyar, the then Maharaja of Mysore in 1901, the hospital soon rose to be among the prominent hospitals in South India.

Purely we can see the negligence towards the patient, There is no proper maintenance of appointments and token system for radiology. And common thing in every GOVT hospital is rude behaviour of the staff with patients. I have visited 3 times and still visiting the hospital to take MRI and they said patient Q is full & asking me to come next day on every time. There is no token and appointment system.

Worst staff, worst service in scanning dept -for 1 scanning here 10 days to be wait and after scanning evening they giving report, what is the use in this state big hospital, for scanning poor people have to go for 15 days, so suggesting they charge little high and give service same day like Jayadev then it will save money for coming going and time

They give appointments to the patients, but the doctor will not be present on the given date, the reception is so worst that they only don't know doctors are present or absent. If we enquire over the phone they tell us to go n see I. The hospital itself. If people are coming from long way like Bellary hospet, how can they come to know doctors are available on the given dates or not.government must take the steps to handle all the conditions. Coz patients come for treatment not for enjoying there r8. Even cleanliness is also very bad. Government should take major steps so that even the poorest get a good medication on time.

It's an ocean out there and poor patients are made to run around a lot. God help you if you happen to be an out-of-state person and don't know Kannada.you will be put down in no time by doctors, staff, service staff & peons! Fees are extremely reasonable and affordable for even the poorest of the poor. Having said that, we didn't come across any request for bribes or corruption. Cash collection & registration counters are computerized. At the Anti Rabies Clinic, young doctors took charge and did their job efficiently, supervised by a Sr Doctor who asked if we knew Kannada or not. While we know the language, being residents of this beautiful city, a doctor in a public hospital has no business asking such a question, we feel! Keep your chauvinism outside, Doctore!
